Chapter 369 Resignation

Judson's face got even darker, and he let out a cold laugh. "Eula, if that's your choice, then go ahead."

He shoved her away, grabbed the desk phone, and dialed an internal number. "Get to my office and take Eula to process her resignation."

Eula's eyes widened, and her voice dropped. "Judson."

She just wanted some time off, but Judson went straight to firing her.

Eula was instantly pissed.

Right then, the HR manager walked in, nodding respectfully at Judson.

Seeing the HR manager, Eula knew she couldn't just stand there. She shot Judson a cold look, went back to her desk, grabbed a box, and started packing her stuff. She tossed her work badge to the HR manager.

"Sign the papers. I need to get to the hospital."

She carried her box and stormed out of the CEO's office. The HR manager looked stunned and turned to Judson. "Mr. Nash, what should we do?"

Judson's face was like thunder. "Sign the papers and give her an extra five months' salary."

The HR manager nodded. "Okay, Mr. Nash."

He thought, 'They must've had a fight, but Mr. Nash is still being generous, giving her extra pay.'

Eula walked out with her box, and Winnien and Myles quickly followed. "Ms. Lowe, what's going on?"

Eula looked at them. They were the ones she was closest to. "I quit."

Winnien and Myles were surprised but quickly got it. Eula quitting meant she was probably going to marry Judson soon.

They smiled. "Congrats!"

Eula was a bit taken aback but smiled. "I'm leaving. Let's grab a meal sometime."

They escorted her to the elevator, smiling as they saw her off.

As the elevator doors closed, Eula's eyes dimmed. She felt a bit sad leaving the job, especially with the high salary. It was tough!

But then she thought of Judson's cold attitude.

She believed she could find a better job.

Even though she lacked confidence because she had no degree, she knew she had the skills.

She muttered to herself, "Eula, don't be scared. Remember who helped you when you were at your lowest? Geoffrey needs you now. Help him get better, and you'll have a clear conscience."

With that thought, her frustration faded, and she stopped worrying.

Back in Judson's office, the tension was thick. The HR manager quickly left and bumped into Myles. "Here to process Ms. Lowe's resignation?"

The HR manager nodded. "Yeah! Myles, you seem in a good mood today."

Myles raised an eyebrow. "Of course, when Mr. Nash is happy, we follow suit."

The HR manager was puzzled. 'The CEO's office must have a very tense and intimidating atmosphere; is he really in a good mood?'

"Myles, you go ahead. I need to get back to work."

Myles squinted as he watched him leave, feeling puzzled by his look.
