Chapter 38 Little Deceiver

Eula had been having a dream all night, where she fell into the water and had a hard time breathing, feeling extremely uncomfortable.

Anyway, she didn't get a good night's sleep, and when she woke up the next day, she felt exhausted.

When she opened her eyes, a handsome face as if sculpted appeared right in front of her. He had his eyes closed, his lashes drooping and casting a shadow on his eyelids.

This made his eyes look even deeper, adding a touch of mystery.

Eula just stared at him, at his sleeping face. It was really beautiful.

It turned out that a man could look like a painting even when he was asleep. Women were like Sleeping Beauty, and he was like a landscape painting, a majestic mountain.

After a while, Eula snapped out of it.

She shook her head, feeling mesmerized. This feeling was so strange.

Feeling the woman in his arms move, Judson tightened his long arms, and Eula was pressed tightly into his embrace, her lips touching his face.

Judson opened his eyes and met Eula's misty, big eyes.

When he felt her lips on his face, he smiled mischievously, full of devilish charm.

"Are you stealing a kiss from me?" he asked, righteous and bold, as if she had really kissed him.

Eula sat up suddenly, her hand touching her mouth.

"No, no, you misunderstood. Just a moment ago..."

Just a moment ago, he had held her in his arms and she had accidentally kissed him. She really didn't mean to.

Seeing her nervous and scared appearance, Judson raised the corner of his lips, smiling brightly.

Eula felt that this man was simply a demon. Always making her feel abnormal, fascinated, and uncontrollable.

She ran her fingers through her hair, trying to clear her mind.

Judson furrowed his brows slightly. "What kind of drink did they give me last night? My head is throbbing."

It was then that Eula remembered. This was her room, and last night he had been drunk. Worried that he might get into trouble, she had taken care of him.

She remembered everything and then looked at the bed.

When did she climb up here? It seemed like she even snuggled into his arms.

Eula felt like she wanted to faint. How could she get into such a situation?

She had already laid out a mat on the floor and planned to sleep there for the night, but in the end, she still climbed up on the bed.

It was so embarrassing!

Judson saw her doing all kinds of small actions. He shook his head. It was adorable to the point of bursting, so he resisted the urge to laugh and asked coldly, "Fake alcohol?"

Eula waved her hand. "No, it's real alcohol, and it's quite good. It's brewed by relatives at Mary's house, just a bit stronger than the ones on the market."

Judson raised an eyebrow. "Hmm! Can I have breakfast, since I didn't have dinner last night?"

Judson's tone sounded like a pitiful child.

Eula felt guilty. "Judson, I'm sorry! My children can be mischievous. Please don't be angry. Breakfast is ready, you can have it after you freshen up."

She had already talked to Mary last night, asking her to make extra breakfast and prepare some warm soup for Judson.

Judson sat up, looked down, and then pulled the blanket over himself. "Who undressed me?"

There was a hint of fear in his eyes, and Eula was a bit shocked to see such fear and anxiety.

A grown man, having such an expression! Was he afraid that she would take advantage of him?

"It's Mary, it's okay. She's old enough to be your mother, so you don't have to worry about it."
