Chapter 194 Winning Over Her Sons Comes First
Eula pulled the blanket over herself and watched Judson coldly.
"Judson, I am not Kristina. Are you aware of this?"
But just now, it seemed like he called her Eula.
So, he was awake and had been lying to her. The realization made her seethe; this man was despicably cunning. Judson glanced down, relieved to find himself unharmed. If Eula had aimed her kick a little higher, he would have been in a world of pain, and their future encounters would have been significantly less enjoyable. "Why are you in bed, Eula?" he asked, raising an eyebrow slightly. Eula was at a loss for words. He had been drunk, and now he was pretending to have lost his memory. She decided not to engage in an argument with him, at least for now. Wrapping the blanket around herself, she got out of bed and began gathering her clothes. Judson, however, had other plans. He reached out and pulled the blanket towards him. Eula reacted quickly, holding onto it tightly. "Judson, you are sober now. Stop messing around," she warned. "I'm cold," he retorted coldly. He had seen her naked before, had even touched her. She didn't need to be shy, did she? But her shyness was endearing, and he couldn't help but tease her. Eula was on the verge of losing her sanity. She was supposed to be his secretary, but she felt more like his lover. This was not normal. This kind of situation had occurred several times before, and she was determined not to let it happen again. The consequences would be disastrous. She had become a secretary for the sake of thirty thousand dollars, not to sleep with him. With a forceful push, Eula finally managed to free herself from his grip on the blanket. She darted into the bathroom, locking the door behind her. After hurriedly dressing, she opened the door to find Judson pointing at her phone on the bed. He had donned a black silk robe, looking both sexy and enticing. His voice was a pleasant, husky murmur. "Dewitt called you. He wants you to call him back." Judson held a cigarette between his fingers, frowning as he took a puff. He could clearly sense Dewitt's cold attitude towards him. Furthermore, when he had mentioned that Eula wouldn't be returning home that night, Dewitt had flatly refused, insisting that she had to return. He had shown no respect for Judson. To win Eula over, Judson realized he first had to gain the approval of her two sons. Eula quickly picked up her phone and dialed Dewitt's number. "Dewitt, what's wrong? Is your sister okay?" Her voice was tinged with urgency. Usually, when her sons called her late at night, it was because Angie's health had taken a turn for the worse. "Mommy, Angie is fine and already asleep. I just wanted to remind you that you only have half an hour left. If you're not home on time, we'll have to punish you." He hung up, leaving Eula stunned. Her sons had become strict again, now that they understood she had no relationship with Judson. Glancing at the time, Eula gasped. "Damn... it's already 9:35." She sprinted towards the door, leaving Judson with a furrowed brow. It seemed Eula had completely forgotten about him. As he watched Eula dash out of his house, Judson took a deep drag of his cigarette. Just as he had suspected, after answering her son's call, she had forgotten about him. Judson felt a pang of disappointment. He craved more of her attention and concern. He took out his phone and sent a message in the group chat that included Hugo, Elbert, and himself. Judson: [Who knows how to make a child happy? I need your input.]Hugo: [What happened? Did little Eula get pregnant, and you're going to be a dad? Judson, you're going too far with this game. Little Eula will definitely get an abortion and draw a line with you.]Hugo's words made Judson furrow his brows. He realized that he really did not understand Eula!
