Chapter 326 She was Wild and Uneducated
Eula never thought he'd actually hit her. For Kristina, he was just plain heartless.
She didn't say a word, just stared at the raging Fernando in front of her.
Finally, she turned and walked away.
Fernando barked, "Where do you think you're going? Did I say you could leave?"
Eula kept ignoring him. He'd always been like this. From childhood till now, he never acted like a real dad for even a single day.
Yeah, she was wild and uneducated, but who could blame her?
Eula got into the car. When Geoffrey had come to pick them up, the driver had a business car 'cause there were too many people for a regular one.
She sat in the second row by the door, her long hair hiding the side of her face that was stinging with pain.
Geoffrey sat next to her and glanced over. "Eula, what did your dad want?"
Seeing her mood, he figured things with her dad were bad.
He'd dug into her relationships. Melissa was her stepmom, and Kristina was her stepmom's kid.
With all that, it made sense she didn't get along with her dad.
When he first met her, she was in a rough spot, but she never talked about her family. He'd guessed her family ties were strained.
Later, he found out she was pregnant, and it was out of wedlock, which explained her determination.
Eula finally looked up and forced a smile. "Nothing."
Geoffrey nodded slightly but kept glancing at her, worried about her mood.
Angie, sitting behind her, reached out a tiny hand to touch her face.
She touched the side that got slapped, and Eula winced in pain.
Angie's eyes widened. "Eula, what's wrong?"
Eula quickly masked her pain. "I'm fine, your hand's just too cold."
Hearing that, Geoffrey sighed in relief.
But the two boys in the back were sharp and knew Eula's character.
Angie pulled out a gift. "Eula, look, so many gifts!"
She giggled happily, while Dewitt and Rodolfo turned on the car's interior light. Dewitt lifted her hair on the left side.
She raised her hand to block, but the light was bright enough to show the swollen face and the five clear finger marks.
Her skin was so fair that even a slight pinch would leave a mark, let alone a hard slap from an adult man. The mark was terrifying.
Dewitt and Rodolfo's faces darkened, and they asked in unison, "Who hit you?"
In the Lowe family, it seemed everyone was nice to them, but they could sense it.
Most of it was fake. Only David truly loved them; the others had a different look in their eyes.
Eula quickly pulled her hair down to cover it. "No one, I just hit a mosquito too hard."
Even the dumbest person wouldn't hit themselves like this. She really liked to endure silently.
Geoffrey, feeling sorry, took out his phone to buy medicine, sending it to Eula's home.
Angie saw it too and hugged her head from behind, her little mouth moving closer. "Mommy, I will kiss it, and it won't hurt."
She then seriously kissed her mother's face, making Eula smile. Looking at Angie's serious little face, she found it adorable and considerate.
Luckily, she had the three most heartwarming kids in the world. With them, she feared nothing.
Even if her biological father treated her like that and never loved her.
She didn't care anymore. As long as she could be with her three kids, everything was worth it.
Geoffrey looked at the adorable Angie and smiled faintly. "Eula, I won't force you to come back anymore. It was my fault today."
