Chapter 284 Fake Necklace

Peter shrugged. "She turned me down because I can't show my face today."

'Huh! This guy's way too full of himself,' Eula thought.

Eula didn't care. Judson was handsome, and no matter how good-looking Peter was, she wasn't interested.

She sipped her drink, thinking, 'Judson, if you don't find me soon, I'm out of here.'

Eula was in a bad mood. 'Judson lost contact with me for so long; that's just too much.'

Kristina spotted Eula because of her necklace. Some aunts at home wanted it, but she said it was fake.

Kristina smirked and whispered to a girl, "Wearing a fifty-buck necklace to this party, how dare she."

She added, "I know her. She's the maid's daughter. That necklace is from a thrift store, worth a few bucks."

Mia, Peter's ex, still liked him. As long as he didn't find someone new, she could stay close. So she hated Peter's new interest.

Hearing this, Mia thought, 'A maid's daughter trying to steal my man? She's asking for trouble.'

Mia walked over and tried to yank the necklace off Eula's neck.

Eula grabbed her hand. "What are you doing?"

Mia sneered. "This necklace is fake, right? Not even a single real rhinestone. Probably costs ten bucks."

She looked at Peter. "Darling, you wouldn't like a woman with such poor taste, would you?"

Kristina watched coldly, feeling pleased. 'Eula, you're just asking to be humiliated!'

A few rich girls nearby glanced over. They could tell the necklace was cheap.

In their circle, wearing fakes was the worst. They thought Eula didn't belong there.

"Miss, wearing a fake to the Fourteenth Young Master's birthday, are you trying to disgrace Hugo?" Mia said.

The Pitts family was one of the top families in City A, with significant status. They thought Eula must have snuck in.

Eula met their eyes calmly. "You can ask Hugo if I'm disgracing him."

Mia's eyes flashed with anger. 'What lies! She still dares to resist,' Mia thought.

Mia made a move, but Eula grabbed her arm and threw her to the ground.

Mia's mask slipped off, and her painful expression made everyone wince.

Mia started crying. "She hit me, she hit me."

Everyone turned to look, and a spotlight illuminated the scene.

Eula stood there, graceful, the diamonds on her silver mask dazzling.

Eula outshone all the women there. Even with her face hidden, her outfit and aura made her stand out.
