Chapter 358 He Wants to Experience Being a Father

Angie blinked her big eyes at her brothers, pouting. "Y'all don't want a dad? Someone called me 'a kid without a dad' last time. I don't wanna be called that anymore."

Clutching Judson's hand tight, she went on, "Every year at the sports meet, it's always Eula who shows up. She busts her butt competing, but she can't stack up against families with both a mom and a dad. Y'all cool with that?"

It was like Angie was letting out all the stuff she'd been holding in.

Judson thought about Eula. It was rough for her, raising three kids solo.

She could handle the material stuff, but the dad love was always missing.

Dewitt and Rodolfo's eyes dimmed a bit hearing this. They'd been through it all and didn't mind.

But Angie was different. She was a girl and needed that love more than they did.

The two were left speechless, and Angie rested her little face on Judson's hand. "I like him. I want him to be our dad."

Dewitt and Rodolfo just stared at her, no expression.

Judson smiled a bit. "I'll marry your mom and be a good dad to you. If there are school events, just let me know, and I'll be there."

Judson was kinda like them. His parents died when he was young.

He never wanted to sign up for school stuff that needed parents. He got it.

Angie jumped up, all happy. "Okay! Daddy!"

Judson checked the time. "Dinner out or home?"

Angie thought for a sec. "Let's eat out?"

She looked at her brothers.

Dewitt and Rodolfo just followed her lead, no words.

Judson nodded. "I'll set up the restaurant. Got everything you need?"

"Yep." Angie pointed to the checkout. "It's all there."

Dewitt headed to the checkout, pulling out his phone. "Paying."

They didn't want Judson to pay. They'd made some good money lately.

Judson frowned a bit, and Myles noticed, stepping up quick. "Mr. Lowe, let me handle it!"

He nudged Dewitt aside and pulled out his phone to pay.

Dewitt said coldly, "No need, we got it."

Myles quickly paid, carrying the stuff, and smiled. "Mr. Lowe, Mr. Nash really cares about your mom."

'He'd risk his life for her. You really wanna let her miss out on a guy like that?' He wanted to say it but didn't dare.

Judson had told him to keep it quiet, and he never mentioned it. He knew Judson was a real man, protecting his woman like he should.

Dewitt stayed stone-faced, walking out with Rodolfo, not saying a word to Myles.

Myles saw more and more of Judson in these two kids. So young, yet so cool and proud.

They were like two little Judsons, full of attitude.

Angie held Judson's big hand, feeling super safe. She had a special bond with Judson, feeling like with him around, nothing could scare her.

Judson looked down at her. "What do you wanna eat?"

Angie thought for a bit. She'd already had KFC, and if she had it again, Eula would be mad.

"Buffet."
