Chapter 348 The Terrifying Man

Eula grabbed Angie's tiny hand. "Let's get you changed, and your brothers will clean up Shadow. Then we're outta here."

She hadn't been home for days and felt super guilty about not spending Christmas with the kids. So, she decided to take them out for a bit.

Judson was finally out of the hospital today. She'd have Myles and the others keep an eye on him later.

Today was all about her three munchkins.

Eula picked out a cute pink and blue dress and a little coat for Angie, then tied her hair into two adorable ponytails.

Angie checked herself out in the mirror, looking like a mini princess.

She giggled and hugged Eula tight. "Mommy, I'm so glad you're back! Don't leave us again."

Angie had been crying every night, missing Eula like crazy. She thought Eula didn't want them anymore.

Even with her brothers sleeping next to her, she couldn't sleep well.

Eula gently patted her head. "I won't be gone for long anymore, promise."

Judson got hurt because of her, so she had to take care of him. She'd never let that happen again.

Judson didn't nap. Knowing she missed the kids, he changed into his outdoor clothes and left right after she got home.

He drove to the police station.

Mario had been caught, and Judson wanted to see what was up with the whole conspiracy.

That day, they were clearly after Eula, but why would a regular woman like her attract a pro hitman?

He pulled up at the police station, and the chief came out to greet him, "Judson, you're here."

The chief was a relative of the Nash family and knew him well.

Judson nodded. "Chief, I need to see the suspect."

The chief nodded back. "Sure, I'll take you to him."

As they walked in, the officers greeted them.

Mario was in the interrogation room. When the door opened, he gave Judson a cold, contemptuous look, totally unfazed.

Judson turned to the chief. "I need to talk to him alone. You guys can leave."

The chief got the hint and signaled everyone to clear out.

Judson pulled out his phone and sent a message: [Kill the surveillance in here for me.]

He didn't want to make things tough for the chief, so he handled it himself.

Mario smirked, looking all smug. "Mr. Nash, you're one lucky guy."

He never meant to kill Judson. It was a total accident. Things got crazy, and he accidentally shot Judson in the head.

Lucky for Judson, he survived. And Mario figured he wouldn't have to die either.

Judson sat down, eyes cold and ruthless. "Mario, do you know what's gonna happen to you?"

Mario shook his head. "Nope, but I won't die."

He did it for Melissa and Kristina. They hadn't visited him, but he figured it was because they don't have that many influential connections.

No one in City A could mess with Judson now.

It made sense they couldn't visit, and he'd keep his mouth shut. He still had some loyalty left.

Judson gently stroked the ring on his left index finger, His eyes narrowed, a thin, predatory smile twisting his lips.Just as Mario was lost in thought, Judson pulled out a syringe and waved it around. "Know what this is?"

Mario laughed. "Poison, right? I'm not scared of dying, Judson. You don't need to scare me."

Judson stood up and walked over. Mario's hands and feet were tied, but he still acted all tough, which really ticked Judson off.
