Chapter 242 He Ran Away
Eula took out her phone and added a friend. She felt secretly pleased because she had another potential customer.
After adding, Sandra added a note to Eula, “Judson's pursuer.”
With round eyes turning, Sandra thought to herself, ‘Be Eula's good friend in the future and I can naturally see Judson.
Jessica and Donna finished chatting, and she called out, "Eula, we're leaving."
Eula said goodbye to Sandra and Donna, got into Jessica's car and left the villa.
Jessica held Eula's hand. "Eula, you've been wronged today. It's not that I don't want to help you, but I hope you can adapt to such gatherings in the future."
Jessica also didn't like socialite parties, but as a member of the Nash family, the Nash family's women had this obligation.
Eula smiled. "Mrs. Nash, I don't feel wronged."
Today, seeing Melissa being ignored and sitting at the farthest table felt great, she felt happy.
Jessica nodded. "Alright, that's good!"
Eula was thoughtful and sensible, making Jessica more satisfied.
Jessica was getting older. She had played for most of the day and was tired, so she had to go home to rest.
Jessica took Eula to the Nash Group. Eula got off, and Jessica returned to the Nash family.
Back in the office, Judson was not there.
Eula put down her bag, went to the pantry, poured a glass of water, and took a few sips.
She found a quiet place, took out her phone, and called Darcy.
Eula was in a hurry this morning, didn't have time to call Darcy, and then followed Jessica out, also busy.
Soon, the call was answered. "Hello?"
Eula could tell that Darcy seemed not to have woken up yet. "Darcy, did I wake you up?"
Hearing Eula's voice, Darcy woke up, looking at the unfamiliar room, which wasn't actually unfamiliar; she had slept there at least ten times. "Eula, I drank too much last night, so I slept a bit longer."
Actually, it wasn't true. After Elbert brought her back last night, they were up until almost dawn; Elbert had too much stamina.
And Darcy couldn't compare to Elbert at all; she was too tired to get out of bed.
There were also people Elbert sent to the hospital to take care of Estelle so Darcy could rest assured at Elbert's house.
If Eula hadn't called, Darcy wouldn't have known how long she would sleep.
After hearing Darcy, Eula felt much relieved. "I was just worried about you; Elbert took you away; did he bully you again?"
Darcy got up and put on her pajamas, feeling thirsty and ready to pour a glass of water.
When she walked into the dining room, she saw a note on the table.
Elbert: [Darcy, my unit has a mission. I have to go back. This apartment is left to you.]
Underneath was the property deed with a centurion card.
Darcy's face turned pale, muttering to herself, "He ran away?"
Eula was originally talking about her worries and asking Darcy to talk to her if she needed anything when she suddenly heard this nonsensical sentence. "What are you talking about? Who ran away?"
Darcy slapped the property deed heavily, her eyes full of loss. "Elbert, he ran away."
He promised to give Estelle bone marrow on Friday, but he didn't keep his word. She had been with him for a month; as long as he had needs, she would come over and let him do as he pleased.
Darcy just hoped Estelle could survive; she didn't care about herself. But Elbert actually lied to her.
She cursed inwardly, ‘Bastard!’
Eula didn't understand. "Darcy, have you not found a new bone marrow donor yet? Are you still waiting for Elbert?"
Darcy wasn't in the mood to talk about this now; her voice became hoarse. "Eula, I'll hang up first; I have to find him. Let's talk later."
Then, the call was hung up. Eula looked at her phone, and she instantly understood.
She got up and returned to the office; Judson was already there, just back from outside.
"Mr. Nash, do you know where Mr. Hicks is now?" asked Eula.
