Chapter 46 Working for The Nash Group
Eula frowned. How can he deduct her salary right after she started?
No, her eyes lit up.
"Bonus? Do we get a monthly bonus?"
Seeing her delighted expression, Judson realized she was a money-minded person. Give her money and she'll be happy.
So, he nodded, "Of course, The Nash Group has a system of rewards and punishments."
Eula's heart blossomed with joy. So it's not just a salary of $30,000, there are also bonuses every month, and an annual bonus at the end of the year.
She must work at The Nash Group until all three children grow up.
Judson took a sip of his coffee. Although she had added milk, he didn't say anything.
His dark eyes stared at her, and as he saw the excitement on her face, his lips curled up slightly.
"Judson, it's my first day at work and I don't even know what I'm supposed to do. Can you give me a chance?"
Seeing her sincere expression, Judson raised an eyebrow.
"Alright, I'll give you a chance."
Eula hurried back to her desk and grabbed a notebook, then ran over to him.
"Judson, could you tell me what a personal secretary is supposed to do? I'll pay attention to every detail."
She was determined to give every bit of effort that she could for this high salary and to attain a happy life for herself and her babies.
After taking another sip of the coffee she brewed, Judson thought it actually tasted good.
"A personal secretary is responsible for my most private matters, such as clothing coordination, food, and medication. They accompany me during social events and assist the driver in picking me up and dropping me off."
Eula wrote everything down. Although it sounded a bit like a nanny's job, she would play the role of a nanny for the sake of money.
After Judson finished explaining her duties, he got busy with work. Managers would come in from time to time to report their work to him, and he would listen attentively and provide suggestions.
With nothing to do, Eula leaned on her chin and watched him work or scold others. She felt like he was the god of The Nash Group.
During lunchtime, Eula approached his desk.
She saw him holding a cigarette with one hand while his other hand swiftly danced on the keyboard.
He had already attended a two-hour meeting in the morning, followed by meetings with department managers for another hour or so. He was truly busy all day!
No wonder his time in the morning is worth millions of dollars. She watched him, fascinated.
"Judson, should I order lunch for you, or do you go to the staff cafeteria?" Eula asked.
Judson glanced at the time, it was already a quarter past twelve, and he took a casual drag on his cigarette.
"Let's go to the staff cafeteria." he replied.
Since it was her first day at the company, he thought it would be a good idea to show her around and familiarize her with the dining options.
Eula nodded and said, "Oh! Then I'll go ahead, I won't wait for you."
"Let's go together." Judson said loudly as she turned to leave.
Eula wanted to pretend she didn't hear him, but his voice was too loud. Unless she was actually deaf, no one would believe her.
After all, he was the big boss who paid her salary. And anyone with money was a big shot. She could only do as he instructed.
"I thought you should have lunch with the top management." Judson said, walking over while playing with his phone.
They went to the second-floor staff cafeteria together, which was quite spacious. There were many people queuing up, The Nash Group seemed to have a large number of employees.
Eula entered the cafeteria and joined the line. Judson didn't join the queue, he walked straight ahead to the front, and then picked a seat near the window, where he liked to sit.
Since Eula was the last one to enter, all the tables were already occupied. Holding her tray, she looked around but didn't know anyone. She could only sit across from Judson.
