Chapter 275 It's All Eula's Fault
Anna followed Shirley because she overheard her on the phone and wanted to see what was up.
To her surprise, she saw Eula and Judson together, confirming they were a couple.
Melissa, on the other hand, refused to believe Eula could ever marry into the Nash family. Now, it seemed Kristina had no chance left. If it weren't for that, Melissa would be thrilled.
Soon, Melissa called.
Anna squinted and smiled as she answered, "Melissa, did you hear? Eula's really dating Judson. It's confirmed. I'm sure Kristina's engagement was called off because of Eula."
Melissa, already in a bad mood, got even more upset hearing this.
Back in the day, she had become Fernando's wife by exploiting Belle Wood's beauty. Belle was so stunning that Fernando got insecure and suspicious whenever he saw her talking to another man.
Melissa played on this, staging scenes to make it look like Belle was cheating. Eventually, Belle was driven out, and Melissa took her place.
Now, Belle's daughter Eula dared to steal Kristina's man. Eula was asking for trouble.
"Anna, thanks for the info. Gotta go." Melissa's voice was clearly unhappy.
Before Melissa could hang up, Anna added, "Melissa, aren't you mad? Eula's something else. She got Geoffrey obsessed and even won over the Nash family."
To Melissa, these words were like daggers piercing through her heart.
'Eula's just a pretty face like Belle, but she's useless. She even has three kids with some old guy. Besides, she has no qualifications whatsoever,' Melissa fumed.
Melissa snorted. "Anna, I'm hanging up."
She slammed the phone down, seething with anger.
'How did Eula win over the Nash family? Kristina and Judson were already engaged, but Jessica never accepted Kristina! They even canceled the wedding in front of everyone. This seems like Eula's revenge,' Melissa thought.
She continued, 'Maybe Eula made Judson call off the engagement just to humiliate Kristina.'
Melissa suddenly stood up and went to Kristina's room.
She found Kristina putting on makeup. Looking at her, Melissa thought if she were a man, she'd definitely marry someone like Kristina.
Melissa pursed her lips and walked over, looking at Kristina through the mirror. With her delicate face, elegant yet charming, Melissa truly believed Kristina was a stunning beauty, and arguably the most beautiful woman in the world.
Kristina, applying lipstick, glanced at Melissa. "Mom, what do you need?"
Melissa's tone turned cold. "Kristina, I have something to tell you. Brace yourself!"
Kristina finished her lipstick and raised an eyebrow, saying, "Go ahead!"
"Kristina, your engagement being called off is because of Eula. She's dating Judson now, and Jessica even took her to a socialite tea party. She's been accepted by the Nash family."
Kristina's face darkened.
She had suspected it since that time in Judson's office but didn't want to admit it. She still wanted to use the agreement to hold onto Judson and win him back from Eula's clutches.
Kristina turned and hugged Melissa's waist, crying. "Mom, I hate Eula. She took Judson away. I'm heartbroken."
