Chapter 26 Good Sisters

Eula Lowe had just entered her house with her three children when she saw his message. She was about to ask him if he could handle spicy food, or if he preferred clear soup or hot pot.
Before she finished typing, another message came in.
She deleted the previous message and asked a question.
"Does being on break still count as earning money?"
This was her most important concern. With so much money owed to him, she would be willing to work even during her break.
Thinking about how Estelle's medical expenses were stolen today made her feel uncomfortable, so she wanted to punish by working hard.
While she worked hard to repay her debts, she also had to work hard with Darcy Osborne to earn Estelle's medical fees.
The man finished showering and came out, drying his hair with a towel while casually glancing at his phone.
"Of course."
Then, a certain woman replied, "Judson Nash, you're so good, muah!"
Could it be that from now on, she would have Sundays off? The more she thought about it, the more Eula Lowe felt that Judson Nash was good, a decent boss.
As the man read the words "muah" on the screen, he furrowed his brows.
This damn woman was seducing him through the screen.
...
After dinner, Eula Lowe took the food box and went to the hospital. When she entered the ward, she saw Darcy Osborne eating.
It was fast food, from the hospital cafeteria, and judging from her inability to finish it, it didn't taste good.
Estelle saw the person come in and smiled at her.
"Aunt Eula."
Darcy Osborne heard the soft voice calling Aunt Eula and turned to look.
"Eula, why are you here again?"
Eula Lowe knew that she must be worried about money.
She sat down next to Darcy Osborne and handed her the food box.
"Aunt Mary made it, it's all your favorite dishes."
Eula Lowe took out Estelle's portion and fed her.
Estelle seemed lively today and smiled as she said, "Aunt Eula, I can eat by myself."
The little girl had become so thin, with only skin and bones left. It made people's hearts ache. Eula Lowe spread the food on a small table next to the bed and let her sit on the bed to eat.
Darcy Osborne sat at another small table.
Aunt Mary cooked a dish that Aunt Eula found to her liking. She ate it and said to Eula Lowe, "Aunt Mary's cooking is excellent, this is what good food should be like."
After eating too much takeout, she felt nauseous When she saw it. Eula Lowe sat on the hospital bed and said, "Lanlan, I was planning to pawn my ring and use the money for Estelle's medical treatment, but it was stolen by a thief today."
Darcy Osborne's eyes widened. "Thieves nowadays have become so bold, robbing people even in broad daylight."
After saying that, her gaze darkened. "Eula, it's all because of me. When I have money in the future, I will buy you another one."
No one mentioned the origin of that ring, not even Eula Lowe. Because that kind of thing was absurd, she didn't know if it was a dream or reality. But since she had given birth to a child, it must be real. However, she just couldn't find the words to say it.
"Lanlan, our neighbor can lend us 500,000 dollar for now. I will borrow it to pay for Estelle's medical treatment, and we can slowly repay it together in the future."
tears welled up in Darcy Osborne's eyes. "Eula, I've been selling houses recently. Once I sell them, I can repay the money. Thank you for helping me."
She had begged so many people today, but no one would lend her the money. She had even knelt to her relatives, but they simply ignored her. Well, for them, Estelle was like a bottomless pit. And now, she couldn't save any money either, so they didn't dare to lend her any.
Eula Lowe said, "Then I'll borrow the money tomorrow and get Estelle the surgery When possible."
Darcy Osborne's mood seemed to improve, and she seemed to have an appetite for dinner. Eula Lowe glanced at Estelle, who still had a small appetite. She ate a few bites and then went back to the bed to play with her Barbie doll.
That Barbie doll was a gift from Angie, and both girls liked it. So whenever Angie bought something, she would also think of getting something for Estelle. Seeing her play so happily, perhaps this was her happiest moment, forgetting about the illness.
Eula Lowe stayed with the mother and daughter until they finished dinner. Then the nurse came, and Darcy Osborne had to go to work in the night city. The two of them left the hospital together, and Eula Lowe accompanied her to the entrance of the night city.
Before getting out of the car, Eula Lowe asked, "Darcy Osborne, do you think it would be okay if I come back here to dance?" She had performed that night and felt pretty good. Everyone still remembered her. Although she didn't like this place, she felt that for the sake of survival, she could come back and continue dancing.
Darcy Osborne was silent for a moment, and when she looked at her, she became very serious. "Eula, since you're away, I'll have your back. Dancing requires a lot of physical effort, in this industry. But if you're determined, I believe you can make a comeback."
"Once you leave, don't come back."
"This place is too chaotic. If you can leave, it's best not to come back."
Eula Lowe said, "Well, then I won't come back. When Estelle gets better, you should find a new job too."
Darcy Osborne laughed and said, "Well, then we can eat, drink, and have fun together again."
Watching Darcy Osborne get out of the car and enter the city that never sleeps, Eula Lowe drove back.
But her phone rang and Eula Lowe grabbed it and answered.
"Hello?"
She didn't have time to see who it was.
"Eula Lowe, come pick me up. I'm at Ash and Dine."
It was Judson Nash's voice, and it seemed like he was drunk.
"But today is my day off, Judson Nash."
"Triple the wages."
"Fine, you just wait for me for a moment. I'll be there soon."
Ash and Dine was close by, so she hung up the phone and made a quick U-turn, attracting some cursing from the oncoming driver.
"Do you even know how to drive?"
Eula Lowe pretended not to hear, as the triple wages were the most important thing for her. She was happy! She almost sang as she headed there, "The northern painting, the northern painting, the galloping Mustang and the thorny rose..."
Ten minutes later, Eula Lowe arrived.
She parked the car at the front of Ash and Dine and called Judson Nash.
"Judson Nash, I'm here. Come out!"
Judson Nash heard the cheerful voice of that girl, and his lips curled up, amusement in his eyes.
"You're fast, aren't you?"
The temptation of triple wages was strong. It only took her ten minutes to get here, impressive.
The two men who were playing drinking games at the dining table were surprised to see the man who had only taken one sip of alcohol standing up.
"You guys keep drinking, I'm going home. I'm drunk."
Does he have any shame? He said his stomach hurt after just one sip.
But the two of them didn't make it difficult for him. Now that he said he was drunk, they let it go.
Hugo Pitts cursed, "Judson Nash, you f*cking forgot about your brothers once you got a woman."
Judson Nash ignored it and smirked.
"You're right, now that I have a woman to pick me up, you guys can drink as much as you want without one."
Elbert Hicks and Hugo Pitts were stunned. Was he showing off?
So the two exchanged a glance and got up as well.
"We're drinking and can't drive. We can hitch a ride with you."
Ignoring a certain displeased person with a cold face, they were the first to leave the private room.
Hugo Pitts hugged Elbert Hicks and opened the back seat of their Volvo at the entrance. After getting in the car, Hugo Pitts said,
"Hi, Miss Lowe, we meet again." Eula Lowe turned her head and glanced at the two of them. Wow, their alcohol odor is strong, but these two men are handsome, extraordinarily good-looking!
"Hello!" However, has she met them before?
