Chapter 308 Proposal

Judson had already made up his mind. Tonight, he was taking Eula out, and they weren't coming back to Starry Villa. No way Dewitt and Rodolfo could stop them.

Eula gave a slight nod. Later, she'd sneakily turn off her phone so Dewitt and the others couldn't bug her to come home. She felt a bit rebellious, but hey, it was the biggest change she'd had in years. She wanted to go wild for once, live for her own happiness.

The car cruised for over two hours to a lake up in the mountains. This spot was a popular getaway near City A, packed with folks on weekends looking for a good time. The lake was huge, with a scenic road running alongside it. There was also a nearby town with a bunch of vacation hotels.

By the time they got there, it was past ten at night. People were still strolling by the lake, and some were even setting off fireworks. Eula leaned against Judson's chest, gazing out the car window at the moon and the couples walking by.

Eula's smile was pure joy. She didn't have to envy those couples anymore; she had her own love, her own support.

"Judson, let's get out and walk over!" she said, seeing they were close to the lakeside town where they'd be staying the night.

Judson nodded and told Alan in the front, "Alan, go ahead and check us into the hotel. We'll walk over."

Alan turned his head and replied, "Okay, Mr. Nash."

After getting out of the car, Judson held Eula's hand. She thought about tomorrow, the company's annual party, and how they'd be on holiday after that. They'd stay here tonight and head straight to the party venue tomorrow, no need to wake up early.

Judson took off his coat and draped it over Eula's shoulders. She turned to look at him. "I'm not cold. You should wear it."

The wind by the lake was strong, and it was pretty chilly on a winter night. She didn't want Judson catching a cold.

Judson shrugged it off, "Don't worry about me. I've been toughened up to handle the cold since I was a kid. I can take it even without clothes."

Listening to Judson's low, cool voice and seeing his sharp features under the dim streetlights, Eula couldn't help but find him more and more handsome. She suddenly got why other girls couldn't take their eyes off Judson, including her daughter Angie.

Eula squinted and smiled, "Oh! You're so impressive!"

Just then, a crowd not far away caught Eula's attention with their cheers. She grabbed Judson's hand and ran towards them. In the middle of heart-shaped candles stood a beautiful girl holding a bouquet. A boy knelt with a ring in his hand.

"No matter what happens in the future, I'll always be by your side, loving you forever. We'll go from two people to a family of four, have a son and a daughter, and watch them grow up. We'll grow old together. Even when we're old, I'll still hold your hand. I love you! Will you marry me?"

Everyone started cheering, and Eula was moved to tears. It was so touching to see people in love.

Eula held Judson's hand tightly and looked at him. Judson's face was expressionless, but Eula knew he felt the same way—moved and happy for them.

Judson turned to look at her, his gaze deep. Their eyes met, and it felt like they were the only two people in the world.

Judson's thin lips parted slightly, his voice low and serious. "Eula, will you stay by my side forever?"
