Chapter 261 She Had Quite a Bit of Money
Judson walked ahead, with a group of people following him, having inspected everywhere.
As they left, Judson seemed upbeat.
He said to Myles, "The blueprints have been finalized. We'll use the version I designed. Draft the contract and have her sign it."
Myles glanced at Eula beside him, who seemed unaware.
She was holding her bag and looking at her shoes, which were dusty, clearly annoyed by it.
Myles sighed. 'Eula! Soon, you'll become a hidden millionaire in City A. But you don't even realize it. And Judson, he spoils Eula too much, doesn't he?'
He actually gave her the land and even covered the construction.
At this moment, Myles wished he could be a woman, be the one Judson doted on..
Back in the car, Eula was wiping her expensive calfskin shoes with a tissue. Unfortunately, she had to walk around the construction site today.
She feared she wouldn't be able to wear them tomorrow, which distressed her.
Just then, Eula's phone rang. Seeing it was Angie calling, she answered. "Hey, sweetie!"
"Eula, it's already six-thirty. Why aren't you home yet? Weren't we supposed to check out houses today?"
Angie had been looking forward to it all day, eagerly waiting for six o'clock, and then sat by the door until six, but Eula still hadn't come home.
Eula glanced at the time; it was indeed six-thirty-five. She pursed her lips slightly. "I'm heading back now. Just wait a bit longer for me."
After hanging up, Eula looked at Judson with pleading eyes.
She said, "Mr. Nash, can I get off work now? I have something urgent to attend to."
She meant she didn't want to go to dinner with him and just wanted to get off work, hoping Judson would understand.
Judson finally put down the blueprints and checked the time. "Let's grab dinner together before you go back."
It was already this late; having dinner together wouldn't make much difference.
Eula shook her head. "Mr. Nash, we need to go look at houses today. It's important. The three kids are waiting for me, so I won't join you for dinner."
With that, she called out, "Alan, drop me off at the next intersection."
Judson caught on. He asked, "Where are you looking for a house?"
Eula really saved up enough money to buy a house? That was fast.
Eula scratched her head. "Starry Villa."
Suddenly, she remembered that Judson also lived there, so they would become neighbors.
Judson was a bit surprised. Eula had quite a bit of money to afford a house in Starry Villa.
Judson's long fingers gently rubbed the ring on his index finger. "I happen to be free tonight. I'll go with you for houses, and then you can cook for me. Don't forget you still owe me money."
When it came to this, Eula couldn't refuse.
She thought for a moment. "Alright then!"
Judson had Alan drive directly to Mystic Moonlight Alley to pick up the three kids.
Thanks to Alan's excellent driving skills and the fact that their home was on the East Side, it only took a little over ten minutes to reach Eula's house.
Eula glanced at the man beside her. "Mr. Nash, you go ahead. I'll follow in my car."
Judson gave her a faint look. "I'll drive. You all can ride with me."
Then Alan's seat received a hefty kick, and Alan quickly spoke up, "Mr. Nash, my shift is over. I'm out."
With that, Alan opened the door, stepped out, and walked away quickly.
Eula watched Alan walk away until he disappeared at the end of the alley.
She blinked, struck by Judson's assertiveness. When he told Alan to leave, Alan just left.
However, she and her kids were quite fortunate to have Judson personally drive them.
As soon as Eula and Judson got out of the car, the three kids appeared, all dressed up. Mary was dolled up too, holding a bag and looking very happy to join them.
But the car couldn't fit everyone.
