Chapter 217 Saving Her Daughter (4)

Angie had just laid down when the door was pushed open, and Hubert walked in. He was dressed in all black, his gaze cold and fierce when looking at people.

"What do you want with me?" Hubert asked.

Eula smiled slightly at him. "Hubert, let's sit and talk." She gathered her courage, approached him, and pulled him to sit on the edge of the bed, her voice sweet.

"Hubert, I only have a hundred and ten thousand on me now. Can I pay this first?"

Hubert's face darkened suddenly upon hearing this. "There's no such rule." He was about to call someone in to deal with her, but Eula quickly pressed the needle on her ring out and held it against his neck.

"Hubert, I'm sorry, but I have no other choice. I'll need you to take us out." Hubert's eyes were filled with anger, genuinely surprised by Eula's capabilities. It was the first time he had been defeated by a woman, and he struggled.

"Hubert, you better not move. The poison on this needle is extremely potent. It's soaked in venom from ninety-nine different snakes. Once it pierces your body, survival will be difficult," Eula warned him.

Hubert's face darkened even more upon hearing this, now genuinely afraid and dared not move.

Hubert was furious and also terrified of the needle. Eula slightly smirked; pushed to this point, she had to learn to protect herself. She had no backing now, no family. In such a situation, besides the police, she had no one to rely on. But she couldn't even call the police; she had to rely on herself.

"Angie." Upon hearing Eula's voice, Angie suddenly sat up, then quickly slid off the bed, grabbing her clothes. "Eula, Angie is not afraid." She pursed her lips, speaking bravely.

Eula glanced at Angie and smiled happily at her. "Angie is amazing!"

Holding Hubert hostage, Eula walked out of the bedroom. The people in the living room saw this scene and reached for their guns. The barrels were aimed at them, causing a hint of fear to flash in Angie's big eyes, her small hand trembling slightly. But she didn't cry; she held onto Eula's thick coat tightly, afraid of being separated from her.

Hubert saw them all raising their guns and coldly shouted, "Put down your guns and prepare a car, quickly."

Lisa was also shocked, thinking Eula had planned on using a seduction tactic, but she didn't expect her to use Hubert to threaten them. However, she felt a hint of admiration for Eula's sudden boldness. At least today, with so many people watching, Eula had the courage to do this, and she succeeded. Even the formidable Hubert fell into her hands; Eula was truly extraordinary.

Lisa spoke loudly, "Didn't you hear Hubert? Put down the guns and prepare the car."

Soon, a call came in saying the car was already parked downstairs.

Eula nudged Hubert, "Let's go out, and the rest stay inside." Angie held onto Eula's clothes tightly, following her out of sight of those people, and the door closed.

"Eula, are we safe now?" Angie asked.

Except for Hubert, everyone else was inside. A child's thoughts were simple; as long as it was safe, she would not be afraid anymore.

Eula glanced at the locked door, just as she had instructed them to do. So she kicked Hubert. "Lock the door for me."

Hubert had been paying attention to the needle at his neck, afraid that a slight movement would injure him. He leaned back slightly, and Eula leaned forward, causing him to frown and curse, "Keep this damn needle away from me."

His voice carried a roar, almost causing Angie to sit on the ground, her lips pouting. "Eula, prick him. This strange uncle is too bad; he scared Angie."
