Chapter 473 Geoffrey Has a Nice Smile
Eula heard this and smiled. "I just buy clothes randomly, no fixed brands, and I don't have much money, so I only pick comfortable styles and don't care about brands."
Actually, Eula used to be the heiress of the Lowe family, and she had her own taste in clothes, jewelry, and cosmetics.
But these years had been too poor, so she no longer cared about these things.
When Shirley heard this, her face changed slightly. As she thought, Eula was just a bumpkin.
However, Geoffrey liked her, and there was nothing she could do about it.
Only with her around would Geoffrey return to her side, just like in the past.
For Geoffrey's sake, she would endure it for now!
Once she married into the Hopkins family, she would slowly teach her. She was born into a prestigious family and had been a socialite since childhood. She believed she could also cultivate Eula well.
All the way, Shirley kept trying to make conversation with her, and Eula responded perfunctorily.
Finally, they arrived at the door of her house. She quickly got out of the car and waved at the car. "Mrs. Hopkins, goodbye!"
After saying that, she turned and walked home, finally feeling relieved.
As soon as she entered the house, her phone rang. It was a call from Darcy. "Eula, congratulations! I saw on TV that you won the newcomer award."
Eula changed her shoes and walked to the living room. "I also bought gifts for you and Estelle. I'll come over tomorrow and bring them to you. By the way, Estelle's surgery is next week, right?"
"Yes, the time has been adjusted. This time it's accurate, scheduled for next Wednesday."
Hearing this, Eula smiled. "That's good. It's better to be well-prepared."
Darcy glanced at Estelle. She had been in poor spirits recently, but with the surgery coming up, she knew she would get better. "Elbert has invited some doctors over. He said they are the most authoritative doctors, and having them perform the surgery will be more reassuring."
Eula sat on the sofa, feeling truly exhausted from all the running around. "At least he has some conscience. This time, if you see him, don't let him run away again."
Darcy suddenly laughed, "He won't."
The two chatted for a while before hanging up.
Eula picked up the remote control and turned on the TV, flipping through the channels casually. There wasn't much good on TV recently.
At Bright Peak Villa, Geoffrey was reading in the study.
Sierra ran into the study with her phone, "Mr. Hopkins, your phone."
Her voice was soft and sweet, very pleasant to hear.
Geoffrey looked up from his book and glanced at her, "Whose call is it? Why are you so startled?"
Sierra stopped and thought for a moment. "It's Mr. Lowe that you mentioned, Mr. Hopkins."
Hearing this, Geoffrey took the phone and answered it. "Hello?"
"Geoffrey, are you free today? I'd like to see you."
Geoffrey's voice was low but respectful. "Mr. Lowe, I'm free. My eyes aren't well, so I have nothing to do every day."
David felt a pang of heartache upon hearing this. "Modern medicine is very advanced; it will definitely cure."
"Thank you, Mr. Lowe," Geoffrey said, smiling.
Sierra was stunned. So this was what Geoffrey looked like when he smiled. He was so handsome!
She propped her chin on her hand and watched him across the desk, a smile on her face.
"Alright, I'll be there on time. See you later!"
After hanging up, he saw Sierra, who was propping her chin and smiling at him, and his face suddenly turned cold. "Sierra, have you finished ironing my clothes?"
Sierra stood up straight in fright, bumping her foot on the table corner, grimacing in pain. "Okay, I'll go iron them now. But, Mr. Hopkins, are we going out?"
She had never gone down the mountain before and really wanted to go!
She used to be afraid to go alone, but now that Geoffrey was here, she felt she could go out and see the world.
