Chapter 254 David Wants to See the Children
Myles smiled faintly. "I'm too busy; no girl would want someone like me who's always on call."
He was telling the truth. Nowadays, girls wanted boyfriends who could be readily available.
And he had to be at Judson's beck and call, leaving him with little time for romantic pursuits.
Last time, it was because his girlfriend was sick and he couldn't be with her that they broke up. Thinking of this, he tilted his head back and drank.
Judson raised an eyebrow. "Hmm, if you have a girlfriend, I'll give you more free time."
Hearing this, Myles was startled.
"Mr. Nash, please don't fire me. I'll work diligently; a relationship isn't a priority."
Judson forked some greens into his mouth. "I didn't say I was going to fire you. Personal issues is just as important as work."
Myles suddenly felt that Judson had changed, becoming more considerate.
Eula returned home and entered the small courtyard.
She saw two bodyguards standing at the entrance of the living room. Seeing her return, Angie scampered over and whispered. "Mommy, those two have been standing there like two statues."
Eula's big eyes occasionally glanced at the two bodyguards at the door; they did indeed look like statues.
She took the yarn into the living room, planning to knit a sweater for Judson in the evening.
As she entered, the two bodyguards finally moved and called out to her. "Ms. Lowe!"
Eula turned to them. "Did Grandpa send you?"
One of the bodyguards replied, "Mr. David sent us to take you and the three children to the Lowe family."
Eula frowned slightly. "Grandpa wants to see them?"
Thinking of how much David had minded her pregnancy back then, Eula was reluctant to go.
Although she had previously promised David to bring the three children to see him, it was just a casual remark. If it came to it, she was apprehensive.
She didn't want her precious ones to be looked down upon or gossiped. To her, the three children were her treasures, the most precious gifts of her life.
The bodyguards replied, "Yes, Ms. Lowe."
Eula glanced at the three children. Dewitt and Rodolfo were in the living room, completely unaffected, both holding computers, doing something she didn't understand.
Anyway, she couldn't understand it, but they had said that typing these codes could make money.
Since Dewitt and Rodolfo liked it, she supported them.
She put the yarn away and looked at the three children. "Sweethearts, we're going to see your grandfather later. Are you excited to meet him?"
She had never had any relatives around, and the three children probably didn't know what a grandfather was.
This time, David had taken the initiative to see them, and she couldn't refuse.
In this world, David had once been the best person to her.
Angie nodded repeatedly. "Yes! Yes!"
Angie didn't understand what a grandfather was. She just liked excitement and socializing.
Dewitt and Rodolfo looked at her and said in unison. "You decide."
As long as it was someone Eula wanted them to meet, they were willing to oblige.
Eula thought for a moment, 'It'ss bound to happen sooner or later, so why not today?'
"You wait outside for us. We'll come out after changing clothes."
The two bodyguards replied in unison, "Yes!"
Angie watched the two bodyguards finally leave and looked at Eula. "Mommy, are you a rich lady?"
Dewitt and Rodolfo had guessed as much. Eula had an extraordinary aura, and her family background shouldn't be bad.
Although Eula usually didn't mention it or say anything, they could vaguely sense that her past life must have been very affluent.
Eula smiled. "Because I used to be the eldest in the family, they are just showing respect."
She gently stroked Angie's little face. "Sweetheart, when you see your grandfather, don't speak out of turn. Be good."
