Chapter 391 The First Time
Mary saw that she couldn't hide it anymore and smiled. "Eula, it's not a bad thing. He saw that Angie was weak, so he found a good doctor and got some medicine. I usually put a little in the soup, and the whole family can drink it. I didn't really believe it at first, but recently I've seen Angie's health improve, and she's eating more than before."
Eula finally understood. She thought Angie had just grown up a bit and wasn't getting sick as often.
It turned out that all of this was thanks to Judson.
He wasn't just good to her; he also thought about her kids.
She had considered marriage before but was afraid that her partner wouldn't treat her kids well, that they would be mistreated or neglected.
Now it seemed that Judson was definitely a good father.
She smiled sweetly, and Mary couldn't help but sigh, "Eula, I think Mr. Nash is great. He's good to you and your kids. Such men are rare in this world. You should cherish him!"
Eula nodded. "I know. Mary, you take Angie inside!"
She was a bit excited at the moment, but she had already given herself to him. Last night was their first time to make love, and it was wonderful!
Eula closed the door, got into the car, checked the time, and thought about calling Judson.
But Myles had said that Judson would call her back when he had time, and he hadn't yet. He must be extremely busy.
She decided not to disturb him and drove to the hospital.
When she entered the ward, Geoffrey was getting an IV. He moved his head when he saw her come in. "Eula, is that you?"
Eula responded, "Yes, I'm here. Have you been eating and taking your medicine properly?"
She was treating him like a child, and Geoffrey really was like a child.
Shirley was napping on the couch and was disturbed by their voices. She raised her hand to cover her eyes. "You two are too noisy."
At Shirley's age, even the slightest noise could disturb her sleep.
Eula glanced at the couch and then stuck out her tongue in fright.
Geoffrey saw this and a slight smile appeared on his lips. He thought Eula was really cute.
Eula tiptoed to his side and placed the chilled jelly she had specially bought on the table. "I brought you some chilled jelly. Try it."
Geoffrey loved this kind of jelly. Eula had bought a mixed variety with ten different ingredients, and it tasted great.
Geoffrey was a bit surprised. "You still remember?"
The first time he had it was with Eula. It was her first day at work, and she had earned two hundred dollars. She said she would treat him to a meal, but in the end, he paid for it.
She took him to a small shop in a deep alley, but it was very crowded.
It was the first time he had tasted something so delicious. Seeing his satisfied expression, Eula felt that although it was a bit shabby, his enjoyment was what mattered most.
"Of course, it was the first thing I treated you to with my first paycheck." Eula scooped a spoonful and brought it to his mouth, "Try it. I bought it from the same place."
Geoffrey's face lit up with a warm smile.
This was a memory that belonged to him and Eula, their first time together.
Geoffrey tasted it and nodded repeatedly. "It's still the same taste, very sweet and fragrant."
He thought of that day, her sweet smile. She was more naive back then, but she was under a lot of pressure and never wanted to accept his kindness.
She worked hard every day to support her three kids.
Just then, Eula's phone rang, waking Shirley up. She opened her eyes and cursed, "Eula, you're really too much. You come in and start making noise. Don't you have any manners?"
Eula saw it was Judson calling. She quickly got up and walked out, not caring about anything else.
