Chapter 416 Injured
Eula hurriedly ran downstairs, but because she was in such a rush, she missed a step and tumbled down.
Darcy was terrified and screamed. "Eula!"
After Eula fell, she lay on the ground, motionless.
Darcy quickly ran to her side and half-lifted her up. "Eula, Eula."
Hearing the voice in her ear, Eula opened her eyes, looked at Darcy, and felt a bit of pain in her head.
She raised her hand to touch her head. "Ugh, it hurts."
Feeling pain was a good sign, Darcy said with a sob. "Your head is bleeding, of course it hurts! Fool, even if you lost a man, you can't act like this. Think about your three kids, what would they do without you?"
Eula finally came to her senses, and her tears started to fall again. "Darcy, help me get out of here. I don't want to stay for another second."
Judson and Kristina really had something going on, and he didn't even come after her when he saw her. It made her so angry.
Darcy helped her up, "I'll take you to the hospital. This wound needs to be treated, and if you go home like this, you'll scare the kids."
Eula thought about it and agreed. Maybe the fall was too heavy, and it was a head injury.

She closed her eyes and let Darcy help her out of Judson's house.
Back in her own yard, Darcy helped her into the car, let her lean on the seat, and handed her some tissues. "Press it yourself, don't let the blood keep flowing."
Eula opened her eyes a bit, "Okay, I'm fine. Just drive slowly."
If both of them got into an accident, that would truly be a tragedy.
There were still four kids at home who needed them. They couldn't afford to die; they had to live.
Darcy glanced at her through the rearview mirror, "Don't worry, I'll get us to the hospital safely."
Eula felt dizzy and in pain, but she was still amused by Darcy's words.
Both of them laughed, and Darcy spoke while driving. "You know, what do we women get out of this? Ever since we had kids, we've become invincible. I used to be a delicate girl who would act spoiled, but now I can't even do that."
Eula closed her eyes and thought about the past years with Darcy. Darcy had a tougher personality, so she was stronger.
She sighed, "But kids are also our greatest love. Without them, we'd have regrets."
That was true; a woman's maternal instinct was too strong.

As for themselves? Maybe they didn't think too much.

At this moment, Darcy's phone rang, and she answered it. "Hello."
She saw it was Elbert calling. She didn't have time for this now and hoped Elbert wouldn't make things difficult for her.
"Where are you? Not taking care of the kids?" He started with a questioning tone, and Darcy found it amusing.
Estelle wasn't even his kid, so why was he so concerned?

Darcy also heard Estelle crying, so she glanced in the rearview mirror. "Okay, I'll be right back."
She hung up. Elbert was really meddling too much. Coming to the hospital so late, what was he up to?
