Chapter 302 Envy, Jealousy, and Hatred
Judson eyeballed his cup, grabbed it, and gave a sly grin.
A smirk crept onto his good-looking face as he leaned in close to Eula's ear.
"Eula, hang back after work. Let's go on a date!"
Eula's eyes lit up even more; she'd daydreamed about the word "date" before.
Now she finally got to experience it, and she nodded with a grin.
Then she stepped inside, and Judson strolled out of the office.
Eula placed the cup in front of the two, "Mrs. Nash, Ms. Pitts, enjoy."
Jessica saw she was about to leave, so she called out.
"Eula, sit down. I brought you some strawberry cake; I know it's your fave. I also packed a few more pieces to take back for Angie and the others."
Eula glanced at the two boxes on the table; yep, there were quite a few pastries.
She smiled and thanked her, "Thanks. They'll be stoked."
Jessica thought a lot about those three kids.
Especially the two little boys, who were basically mini versions of Judson. Jessica thought, 'If Judson had a son, he'd probably look just like them.'
The more she thought about it, the more she wanted to see them.
"Eula, the three kids haven't been in school lately, right? It's only a few days until New Year's. Why don't you bring them all to our place to celebrate?"
If there were three kids at home, plus Eula, it would be a blast.
The Nash family hadn't been this lively in years. Now that Jessica was older, she especially liked this kind of buzz.
Eula hesitated for a moment; she actually wanted to spend New Year's with Judson.
Hearing Jessica's words made her even more eager for this.
"Mrs. Nash, is that cool?"
Although she and her kids spent New Year's together every year, it would be even more fun with the Nash family.
Jessica smiled, "It's just me, Robert, and Judson at home. If your whole crew comes over, we'd be thrilled."
Sandra, on the side, was super envious. If only she could spend New Year's with the Nash family.
However, she would make Hugo bring her to the Nash family; she also wanted to spend New Year's with Judson.
Eula nodded. "Alright, I'll bring the three of them over then."
Sandra took a sip of coffee and thought it tasted awesome. Over the years, she had spent a lot of time with Donna, catering to her tastes.
So Sandra knew quite a bit about this.
She knew this coffee was top-notch; indeed, everything from the Nash Group was first-class.
Jessica unboxed the strawberry cake for Eula. "Eula, it's perfect to have some cake with it."
Eula couldn't refuse Jessica's kindness, so she took a spoonful and brought it to Jessica's mouth.
"Mrs. Nash, this is for you!"
Jessica ate it, and then Eula took a bite herself.
Sandra frowned, thinking that, 'Eula really knew how to win people over, having such a good relationship with Jessica.
She had to find a way to make Jessica and Eula fall out.
Otherwise, she wouldn't have a shot with Judson. She had to make Eula lose her spot, and then go to Donna. That way, she'd have a chance.
She had it all planned out, so when facing Eula, Sandra stayed cool, acting like nothing was wrong.
It seemed like she was even blessing Eula and Judson.
After a while, the Nash family called, saying Robert was causing a fuss, and they couldn't handle him, so they needed Jessica to go back and calm him down.
Eula got up to see them off, escorting them to the elevator door.
Jessica sighed, "New Year's Eve is right around the corner, and Robert's kinda bummed out. I gotta go back and cheer him up. Eula, make sure you bring the kids over to our place for New Year's, okay? It'll make Robert feel good!"
