Chapter 403 The Two Kids Are Impressive
He was comforting Eula, but Eula couldn't stop sobbing. "Grandpa, you're not sick, but Kristina said you were and took Angie away. Now we don't know where they are."
David's voice became sharp upon hearing this. "What? Kristina? Eula, don't worry. Angie is now a child of the Hopkins family and also our Lowe family bloodline. She wouldn't dare do anything to her. I'll go ask her mom. Don't worry!"
After hanging up, Eula's nose was still twitching. "Kristina is lying. Grandpa isn't sick at all. She did it on purpose. Darcy, do you think she might want to kill Angie?"
The thought of this terrible thing was unbearable for her.
Dewitt and Rodolfo had been used to seeing Eula like this since they were young. When she worried about Angie and them, she would lose her composure. She wasn't particularly smart to begin with.
"Mommy, Angie won't be in danger for now. We taught her to call the cops if there's any danger. If she had called the cops, they would have contacted me, so she's safe for now."
Her watch phone was in her backpack; she knew that.
Eula thought for a moment, "Okay, I'm not in a hurry, but I'm scared."
She covered her face because they hadn't experienced what she had back then. Her fear of that Kristina and her mother lasted for years.
She had experienced how terrifying Kristina could be, so she knew what kind of environment Angie was in.
The car stopped in her driveway, and the two little ones pushed open the car door and ran into the house.
Mary's voice came through, "Why are you back? Where's Angie?"
With Darcy's help, Eula entered the house. Mary was knitting and suddenly stood up. "What's wrong with you, Eula?"
Eula saw the yarn; she had bought it to knit for Judson but never had the time, so she left it aside.
Unexpectedly, Mary had taken it out and started knitting.
Darcy helped her sit on the sofa, "Eula, don't worry. Judson has a wide network. He should be able to check the city's surveillance, and we'll soon find out where Angie is."
Seeing Eula's pale face, Mary quickly made some tea, hoping it would make her feel better.
Hearing that something had happened to Angie, the cup in her hand almost slipped. "Darcy, what did you say? What happened to Angie?"
Wasn't she supposed to be at school? How could something have happened?
Darcy gritted her teeth and said, "Angie was taken by Kristina and is now missing."
Mary put the cup on the coffee table in front of Eula and cursed. "That damn woman, why did she take Angie?"
After saying this, she realized something was wrong.
"Did you call the cops? Get the cops to find her."
Mary was particularly anxious, but the sound of footsteps came from upstairs. Eula's two sons were running down.
"Mommy, Angie is at 366 Willow Creek."
Hearing this, Darcy's eyes widened, and she gave the two little ones a thumbs-up.
"Eula, Dewitt, and Rodolfo are amazing. They've already found out where Angie is."
Eula suddenly stood up, "Let's go now. If worst comes to worst, I'll exchange myself for Angie."
She thought Kristina wanted to marry Judson and was using Angie to threaten her. She could handle it herself.
They quickly ran out of the house and got into the car. Darcy turned the steering wheel and drove away.
Mary chased after them, but the car was already gone. She stretched out her hand. "Eula, wait for me. I'll go with you."
But it was too late. Her old age couldn't keep up with the young ones.
The car had already left the city, speeding towards Willow Creek.
At this moment, Eula's phone rang. She answered it.
"Eula, we've found out. Angie and my grandpa are both at Willow Creek. We're heading there now."
"Okay, we know. We're already out of the city and might get there faster than you."
