Chapter 35 He Gets Drunk
Judson picked up the glass of water Eula poured for him and took a big sip.
He didn't expect the liquor to have such a strong effect. His eyes grew hazier, he was definitely feeling a bit drunk.
"I don't like women who are too smart."
Dewitt and Rodolfo exchanged slight smiles. This point was crucial.
Just then, Eula finished her bath and came downstairs in her house clothes, smiling as she saw her two sons chatting with Judson.
"What are you guys talking about?"
As Eula approached, she caught a strong smell of alcohol.
She sniffed and could definitely smell it. Then she noticed that Judson's complexion was off, a little flushed, and his gaze was somewhat unfocused.
"Judson, why are you drinking alcohol?"
Her eyes were filled with surprise since drinking should not have been done in this house.
She looked at her two sons, Dewitt and Rodolfo, both narrowing their eyes and smiling.
"Mommy, you entertain our guest, we'll take Angie to study."
Usually, these two kids dreaded taking Angie to study because she didn't like learning, often frustrating her two brothers to tears.
In the end, the boys had decided that Angie didn't have to study well since they would be there for her in the future.
But today they said they would take her to study?
Eula smiled happily, "Teach Angie well, you two."
Judson gave a faint smile. Clever kids, they distract her with one hand while doing something else.
As Eula watched the three children go upstairs, she finally withdrew her gaze and suddenly realized the situation at hand.
"Judson, did they make you drink this alcohol?"
It was only now that it dawned on Eula. They said they were going to take Angie to study, but it turned out to be a trick.
She pursed her lips in anger and looked upstairs, but with a guest around, she couldn't scold the children.
She could only try to resolve the issue at hand. "Judson, would you like some water? Let me pour you some. I'm really sorry, the kids can be so mischievous. Are you feeling uncomfortable? Do you need to go to the hospital?"
Just how much did they make him drink? Why does he look like this?
Last time when he was entertaining, he got drunk, but it wasn't like today.
Her two sons were just too judgemental. Whenever they saw a man visiting their house, they considered him an enemy and united against him.
Judson picked up the water glass and took another sip.
"...I need water."
He squinted his eyes and said this sentence unclearly.
Eula thought, "Oh no, he's drunk."
Just then, Mary came from the kitchen and said, "Eula, the food is ready."
Eula looked at the man leaning on the sofa and asked, "Shall we go eat?"
Can he still eat like this? I hope he doesn't slide under the table while sitting.
Judson raised his hand and gestured, "No more food, I want to sleep."
Eula blinked, wondering what to do.
Mary asked, "What's wrong with Mr. Nash?"
He seemed fine when he came in, but now he seems drunk?
Eula pointed upstairs, "He was made drunk by Dewitt and Rodolfo."
Mary widened her eyes, finding it unbelievable. Those two kids were the most well-behaved, so how could they get someone drunk?
Eula shook Judson, saying, "Judson, don't fall asleep! I'll take you to your car, and you can sleep when you get home."
Upon hearing this, Judson abruptly opened his eyes, and they looked a bit red.
"The driver's family is sick, so I sent him home."
