Chapter 476 The Lowe Family Gathering (1)
David smiled and responded, "Even if your eyes never get better, Eula won't abandon you."
They already had children together; how could she leave him just because he went blind?
David was that kind of person—traditional and upright.
Hearing David's words, Geoffrey felt much better.
His decision back then was the right one. By telling David the child was his, he naturally wouldn't object.
After their conversation, David left first, while Geoffrey said he would wait for his driver and maid to return.
David asked the teahouse owner to look after him before getting up to leave.
Geoffrey took a sip of tea alone, the darkness in his eyes deepening bit by bit.
He gave a wicked smile, thinking, 'Judson, you want to compete with me for Eula? Let's see how you do it.'
About half an hour later, Sierra returned, carrying a lot of delicious food, her little face full of satisfaction.
"Mr. Hopkins, it's a pity you didn't come with us. There were so many food stalls, and everything was so tasty! I thought there wouldn't be any street vendors, but it turns out they have designated areas where they can set up." She was munching on candy, making a loud crunching sound.
With sugar still on the corner of her mouth, Geoffrey reached out to wipe it away. "It's time to go home."
Sierra pouted, "Oh!"
Then she quickly put the food back into the bag and went to support him. Since Geoffrey had to pretend to be blind, she had to act as his crutch.
Saturday, at the Lowe Mansion.
The main house was beautifully decorated with festive red colors and dolls that girls love, all prepared for a modern girl's party.
Kristina stood on the second floor, looking at the busy scene downstairs, and couldn't help but complain to Melissa beside her. "Mom, Grandpa has never thrown a party for me, not even for my birthday."
Melissa was dressed in a red gown, looking very elegant.
She crossed her arms, "Once you marry Judson, your grandpa will see you differently. By then, what kind of party won't you have?"
Kristina responded, "That's true. If it weren't for us, Eula wouldn't have what she has today."
If Melissa hadn't suggested it, David wouldn't have thrown a party for Eula.
At this moment, a bunch of Lowe family relatives arrived, entering one after another.
Seeing the relatives, Kristina said, "Mom, shouldn't you go down and accompany them?"
These were the main members of the Lowe family. If Melissa went down to chat with them, she could spread the word about Eula. They were more effective than the Internet.
Women's ability to spread gossip was quite formidable.
Melissa started walking down the stairs. "Of course, I am the hostess of the Lowe family. With relatives here, I naturally have to entertain them."
Kristina followed her downstairs.
Jared Lowe and Neil Lowe were already with Fernando in the small living room, possibly discussing men's business.
The women were sitting in the living room, chatting.
Melissa walked over, "Patricia Lowe, Debra Lowe, you're here."
They were eating snacks and drinking tea. Seeing Melissa, they all stood up.
"Melissa, have a seat! You must be exhausted today. We brought people over to lighten your load."
Melissa smiled gracefully. If it weren't for David, they wouldn't have come so early.
They came early, hoping to gain David's favor and get a bigger share of the inheritance.
Melissa and Kristina sat down, and Patricia looked at her.
"Kristina, have you been dating anyone recently? Bring him over to meet us! I heard that today, Eula and Geoffrey are going to announce their relationship. The Hopkins family is the second largest family, and Eula is really fortunate."
People who used to think Eula was unlucky had now changed their minds, thinking she was very fortunate to marry into the Hopkins family.
Hearing this, Melissa raised her head. "Our Kristina has always been dating Judson; that has never changed."
