Chapter 298 Protecting Mommy

Judson sat up, rubbed his face with both hands, and shot a look at Dewitt and Rodolfo.

"Look, I really love your mom. Just trust me this once, okay? I swear I won't let her get hurt anymore."

Dewitt and Rodolfo exchanged glances, and Dewitt replied with a frosty tone.

"Alright, we'll trust you, but you gotta marry our mom."

Judson's face shifted at the mention of marriage. He was planning to keep it on the down-low from Robert for now.

'Robert's health ain't great, and if he gets too worked up...'

He didn't wanna think about what might happen next and was determined to keep Robert safe.

Seeing Judson hesitate, Dewitt and Rodolfo sneered.

"If you can't marry her, then leave her alone. She can't take any more heartbreak."

Their mom was too naive, too kind, and clueless about relationships.

Eula was also taken aback and turned to look at him. 'Has Judson never thought about marrying me?'

She felt a bit let down, 'With Judson's status, his wife would have to be someone of equal standing. I'm just a single mother. I'm not good enough for him.'

Thinking about this made Eula feel inferior.

Dewitt reminded, "It's 8:15. You're gonna be late for work."

Eula slowly turned around, slipped on her slippers, and headed to the bathroom.

Angie was chatting with Judson, "Uncle Judson, why don't you move in with us? Eula gets scared sleeping alone, and I'd feel better if you were with her."

Judson chuckled at Angie's words and patted her head.

"Alright! I also think Eula needs someone with her."

Angie was a thoughtful kid, and he liked her a lot. After he married Eula, her three kids would be his kids, and he wanted a daughter like her.

Rodolfo took Angie's hand. "Angie, let's go downstairs for breakfast!"

Angie was a bit hungry. "Okay! Uncle Judson, get dressed and come down for breakfast!"

Dewitt shot Judson a cold look, "Judson, please leave and never come back to our house again."

Dewitt's eyes carried a warning and a hint of challenge, like he was daring Judson to come back so they could take him down.

Judson raised an eyebrow slightly. This Dewitt was small in age and stature, but his presence was not inferior to Judson's. With Dewitt around all these years, Eula had been well protected.

Judson smiled, "Dewitt, I've decided on Eula for life, and that won't change. Marriage is just a matter of time. You can test me however you want, and I'm willing to accept."

Judson's words were sincere. Although he couldn't marry her immediately, he would definitely give Eula a grand wedding.

Dewitt didn't say anything; his narrow eyes shifted, and then he left.

Judson knew Dewitt wasn't stupid. If Eula could marry the person she loved, they wouldn't oppose it.

They didn't trust him because he had deceived them once. They were just being cautious, afraid Eula would get hurt.

Over at the Lowe family, Kristina got up, wearing silk pajamas and looking lazy. She raised her hand to smooth her hair, then got out of bed and went straight to Melissa's bedroom.

Melissa was putting on makeup. Seeing Kristina come in, she looked at her.

"Sweetie, you're awake? Did you have fun last night?"

Kristina yawned. It was already past ten, and she was still very sleepy. But thinking about last night made her angry, and she wished Eula would die.

"Mom, don't mention it. I was so embarrassed last night. And now, none of my friends want to hang out with me anymore."

In the high-society circles, relationships were never simple.

Melissa had also been ostracized by the people in her circle recently, all because Judson had called off the engagement. Even the Lowe family members dared speak coldly to her now.

"Kristina, I'll go find your uncle Mario later. He knows some hitmen. We'll hire one to kill Eula, and everything will be peaceful again."
