Chapter 24 Being Managed

Grandma Nash almost spewed out the porridge she had just eaten. Did this girl misunderstand her?
She meant that if she was busy, she wouldn't need to accompany her. She didn't expect this girl to misinterpret her words. It seems her emotional intelligence is a bit low!
Kristina Lowe looked at the time and said, "Grandma, how about we go shopping later?" She thought as long as they were together, she would have the opportunity to get closer to Judson Nash.
Women love shopping, right? Old women are no exception.
Grandma Nash saw her enthusiasm and didn't refuse. Since her grandson gave her this burden, she would help him with it first. "Okay!" ...
Eula Lowe drove back in her new car and felt great all the way. It had good power and was automatic transmission, and there was nothing wrong with it.
She also liked the red color of the car, feeling like she had picked it up for free. She couldn't understand why Judson Nash said there was something wrong with the car. He was just too picky.
When she arrived at her doorstep, she carefully parked the car.
As she got out of the car, the neighbor's son was sitting at the front door, enjoying the sun and cracking melon seeds.
When he saw Eula Lowe getting out of the car, he walked over and circled the car.
"Little Sweetie, did you buy a new car?" Eula Lowe had a good relationship with her neighbors and was familiar with them.
They could help each other out when something came up. "No, my old car broke down and a friend lent me his unused car."
John frowned, "Your friend must be very rich, right? Is it Young Master Hopkins?"
Geoffrey Hopkins had been coming here often in the past two years, and the neighbors knew that he was pursuing Eula Lowe. They felt that although this woman was struggling as a single mother with three children, she was still fortunate.
The Hopkins family in A City was also very famous. If she could marry into the Hopkins family, she would become a wealthy wife. Eula Lowe shook her head, "No, it's another friend."
John was curious for a moment, then sat back in his chair, continued to bask in the sun, and crack melon seeds.
When Eula Lowe was about to go inside, she turned her head and looked at John, then walked back to his side. "John, is the loan you mentioned last time that can be credited in one day regular?"
Seeing that she was interested in knowing, John spat out the melon seed shell in his mouth and said, "Little Sweetie, we've been neighbors for two or three years, do I look like a bad person? Can I trick you?" Eula Lowe thought for a moment.
John wasn't a bad person, he was just idle all day. But whenever she needed something, he was always helpful. She believed he wouldn't cheat her either.
After looking around, Eula Lowe whispered, "I want to borrow 500,000 dollar. How long will it take to credit it?" Mainly because she heard John say that there was no interest and only a 10% handling fee, so she was tempted.
"Little Sweetie, if you want it today, you'll have it tonight." John also calculated in his mind that if Little Sweetie borrowed 500,000 dollar, his commission would be 15,000 dollar. He had never earned more than 10,000 dollar a month when he didn't have a proper job. This time he would earn over 10,000 dollar, and he felt itchy.
So he urged her, "Little Sweetie, if you want to borrow it, you should do it When possible. If my relative lends it out, I won't be able to help you."
Eula Lowe was a little afraid of being borrowed by someone else, so she firmly said, "I want it. Tell him for me, I've made up my mind. I'll go through the procedures tomorrow."
The two finished their conversation, and Eula Lowe breathed a sigh of relief.
First, cure Estelle's illness before discussing anything else. She's prepared to sell that ring, which won't go for less than two million. She would consider it a loss if she sold it for five hundred thousand.
Eula Lowe walked into the house, where the three children were playing in the small courtyard.
The two older ones were doing their homework, while the little girl was skipping rope.
Angie ran over with a scrutinizing look on her face.
"Eula Lowe, where were you last night? Tell me the truth."
Her little hands on her hips made Eula Lowe find it funny, she was so adorable.
She gently touched her small face and smiled.
"My car broke down, so I couldn't go home. I stayed overnight at a friend's place."
She had explained this over the phone, and neither of her sons had any intention of questioning her. This little girl was becoming more and more formidable.
Whoever marries her will have a hard time.
Angie pouted angrily, "A man or a woman?"
Her brothers had told her that girls cannot spend the night with boys, and she remembered that. She wanted to make the same demand of her mommy.
Eula Lowe thought for a moment. "A woman, a very beautiful old lady. Is that okay?"
Angie thought for a moment.
"Oh, okay then. Just remember to come home on time next time!"
Eula Lowe knew she had passed the test, even though her explanation had some loopholes, Grandma Nash was there.
She went back to her room, took a shower, changed into comfortable clothes, and felt at ease.
It was uncomfortable not showering last night.
She held her phone and checked her email to see if there were any interview notifications.
She had sent countless job application letters, but why did she only receive one interview notice, and it was for a veterinary clinic?
She didn't understand this!
Put it aside for now and see if there are any other companies' interview notifications next week.
Angie entered her room and leaned against her.
"Eula, I want to go to Barbie's House!"
Her little eyes were filled with anticipation. Although they were poor lately, she didn't want to disappoint her daughter. They had bought a yearly pass before, so as long as she wanted to go, they could go this year.
"Sure!"
Eula Lowe touched her little face and went to the closet to get dressed.
"I'll come down after changing, go tell your brothers."
"Okay!"
After saying that, Angie ran out, talking as she walked.
"Brothers, we're going out to play. Get ready."
Listening to her happy voice, Eula Lowe couldn't help but smile.
Children are like that. Even the smallest things can make them very happy. She hoped her three treasures would grow up happily!
Aunt Mary didn't go with them. Eula Lowe took the three children to the Spring City Plaza. It was a shopping mall where she used to work at The Lowe.
When Eula Lowe was young, she often came here to stroll around. In the car, Dewitt asked in a cold and serious tone, "Who lent you this car?"
Her mom's car should have been replaced because its safety factor was too low, and Eula's driving skills were poor, which made people worry.
Eula Lowe blinked her big eyes and didn't dare tell the truth. "It's the beautiful grandma I mentioned," she said. Angie replied, "Oh, she is so nice to you.
Let's invite her to our house for a meal in the future!" In Angie's world, friends should often meet and invite each other for meals.
She liked this car, it was so beautiful! Eula Lowe agreed, "Okay!" At the Spring City Shopping Mall, the four of them took the elevator to the third-floor children's play area.
Eula Lowe left Dewitt and Rodolfo to look after her sister in the children's castle. She went upstairs to the pawnshop to ask how much her ring could be worth.
If it could fetch five hundred thousand dollars, she wouldn't have to borrow money from her cousin Strong anymore. Kristina Lowe and Grandma Nash also arrived and were riding the escalator upstairs.
Grandma Nash saw the children's play area and kept looking inside. At her age, she loved children and wanted to hold her great-grandchild.
But there had been no news of Judson Nash's wedding, so she could only think about it., her eyes lit up. How did she see two little boys who looked like Judson when he was a child?
