Chapter 18 Two Pitiful Women
Judson Nash watched the scene of that girl rushing with her high heels. He chuckled softly; she was just too cute.
In Myles Lester's mind, he thought that Miss Lowe was the one for Judson Nash. He hardly ever saw him smile, and he was as cold as an iceberg. He was so cold that he felt like resigning at any moment.
He quickly brought the video to him when he saw it, feeling that he had accomplished something.
"Judson Nash, I will go and rescue Miss Lowe right away."
Seeing her being taken away by the police, he volunteered to rescue her and secure his own life. He had accomplished a life-saving feat by winning over the future Mrs.
After Judson Nash finished watching the video, he squinted his eyes slightly. It was necessary to rescue her, as that girl must be terrified. Remembering how he scared her last night, if he personally went today, she might not be angry with him anymore.
He stood up, "I will go myself."
Myles Lester was slightly surprised. Judson Nash didn't need to personally go to the police station.
However, it was clear that Judson Nash wanted to go himself.
This Miss Lowe was most likely their future Mrs., so he followed along.
"Judson Nash, I will have them prepare a car."
Judson Nash put on a black trench coat and picked up the car keys.
"No need. I will go on my own."
Myles Lester could only stop in his tracks. Judson Nash was truly cunning. By personally appearing and saving Miss Lowe, she would definitely be moved.
...
At the police station, Eula Lowe and Darcy Osborne gave their statements, both saying that that scumbag Tony Hudson betrayed his wife and didn't save the child.
The police sympathized with them. They also despised the bad guys.
But by beating someone up like that, they had committed intentional harm, especially by damaging property, which made the situation serious.
Tony Hudson and that Amy insisted on suing them, and it was not easy for the police station to handle.
The two of them were locked in the same interrogation room and were asked to find someone for bail before preparing for a lawsuit.
Darcy Osborne came in later and walked to Eula Lowe's side, looking apologetic.
"Eula, it's all my fault."
Now that the two of them were here, what about the four children?
The more she thought about it, the more she couldn't help but slap herself.
"It's all my fault. With such a scumbag, why do I still hold hope? If he was willing to get tested for a match, he would have done it a long time ago. What's the use of ending up like this?"
Eula Lowe hugged her, "It was my first fight, and it felt great. Thinking of Estelle, it wouldn't be too much to beat that couple to death."
As she spoke, she smiled, "Darcy Osborne, we are best friends. Let's not talk about these things now. Let's think about who to find to rescue us. That’s the most important."
Eula Lowe had hardly any friends in these past years. She worked tirelessly every day just to support her three children, so she had no time to make friends.
Even her former colleagues would occasionally invite her to dinner or go shopping.
However, she didn't have time, and after rejecting people for a long time, they would start to think that she was too busy and stop inviting her. Gradually, she became friendless.
The same happened to Darcy Osborne. After borrowing money from relatives and friends a few times due to her daughter's illness, people started avoiding her like the plague.
She wore a bitter expression. "As soon as people hear my voice, they hang up. How could anyone come help me pay bail?"
They exchanged glances and both laughed.
The two of them were truly remarkably similar, and Eula Lowe sighed.
"When will we ever live like normal people?"
Just then, the door opened, and two police officers entered.
"Eula Lowe, someone has come to bail you."
Eula Lowe pointed at herself. "Bail me?"
She hadn't even figured out who to call yet, but someone had already arrived. It was somewhat unexpected.
Darcy Osborne felt relieved. "Go ahead, it's a good thing that someone is bailing you."
Eula Lowe pointed at Darcy Osborne. "Officer, she's with me, bail us together."
She took hold of Darcy Osborne's hand because if she was going, they would go together.
Darcy Osborne smiled. "You go and see who it is first. Then you can bail me."
"Miss Lowe, please!"
The attitude of the two police officers was surprisingly good, which puzzled Eula Lowe. Darcy Osborne seemed to have guessed and knew that apart from Geoffrey Hopkins, there was only Judson Nash who could pull off something like this.
One of them must have come to bail Eula, and she was actually quite fortunate, but she didn't realize it herself.
Eula Lowe glanced at Darcy Osborne. "Wait for me."
It was to reassure Darcy Osborne that she wouldn't leave alone.
Eula Lowe followed the police officers out of the interrogation room and walked towards the office inside.
She saw a sign saying "Office of the Chief" and realized that she had never been inside a police station before. It was also her first time encountering the chief in relation to getting bailed.
One of the police officers pushed open the door for her. "Miss An, please come in."
Eula Lowe nodded slightly and entered the office. She saw Geoffrey Hopkins and Judson Nash inside, with a middle-aged man in a police uniform accompanying them for tea.
Eula Lowe paused for a moment, then spoke.
"Geoffrey Hopkins, I'm really causing you trouble."
It must be Geoffrey Hopkins who came to bail her, and that guy Judson Nash was probably here for official business.
After all, his time was worth millions in just the morning. Would he really spend his time on her?
Geoffrey Hopkins stood up and approached her, looking her up and down.
"Have you been injured?" That voice, that tone, conveyed concern and worry.
Eula Lowe shook her head, "Darcy Osborne has been protecting me, I'm fine."
She really wasn't hurt at all, but Darcy Osborne's face was swollen and scary.
Geoffrey Hopkins nodded slightly, "Good to hear you're not hurt."
The man sitting next to the chief's face darkened, and the atmosphere in the room became tense.
The chief noticed that he wasn't very happy, so he explained, "Miss Lowe, Judson Nash came to bail you out, and I've also learned about the fight between you. Miss Lowe, you're truly kind and brave. However, if you want to teach Tony Hudson and his mistress a lesson, you should use legal means, instead of resorting to violence."
Eula Lowe had always been afraid of police officers, she lowered her head like a guilty child. "I'm sorry, Chief, can you release my friend too? Her daughter is still in the hospital!"
Upon hearing this, the chief smiled.
"Miss Lowe, you can just call me Chief Hudson I'm not some high-ranking official."
He was gentle, after all, he was relying on Judson Nash personally to handle the situation.
"Sure, your friend can also leave with you."
After saying that, he turned to Judson Nash and said, "Judson Nash, is this arrangement acceptable to you?"
It was a clear invitation for discussion, Judson Nash stood up and shook hands with Chief Hudson. "Chief Hudson, thank you."
After saying that, he turned coldly and walked towards the door, Eula Lowe bowed to the chief.
"Chief Hudson, goodbye!"
She hoped she would never have to see him again. It was a terrible feeling for her to be in a police station for the first time.
Geoffrey Hopkins also bid farewell to Chief Hudson and walked out of the chief's office with Eula Lowe.
He turned to her and saw that her face had no injuries, and there were no injuries on her body, except that a few tufts of her hair seemed to have been pulled out.
"Do you know Judson Nash?"
Eula Lowe said softly, "I owe him money. you can say I know him!" Well, right now, she and that man were just creditor and debtor.
Geoffrey Hopkins furrowed his brows slightly, "You own him?"
It seemed like there was more to it than just that, but he couldn't point it out.
Eula Lowe nodded, they left the police station and saw the man getting into his car. She quickly followed and stood by his car, knocking on the window.
The window slowly rolled down, revealing the handsome and extraordinary face of the man, but he looked cold with a chilly gaze.
Eula Lowe gently bit her lip, "Judson Nash, thank you for bailing me out today, but it's not like I asked you to waste your time."
She was afraid that this man will ask her to compensate for his loss. As a common civilian, she simply cannot afford it.
Just now, she heard Director Hudson say that he was the one who bailed her out, and she almost knelt down, wanting to beg him to never bother her again. His time is too precious, and she cannot bear it.
The man's face darkened even more, thinking that he must be crazy to come here and please her, yet she doesn't appreciate it at all.
However, another man will protect her, so she naturally doesn't need him anymore. Thinking of this, his expression became even colder.
"The bail fee is 20,000. Miss Lowe, would you like to pay in cash or by check?"
Eula Lowe's face instantly turned pale. How did she end up paying so much money again?
So, she looked away with her big eyes, pretending not to hear, and tried to figure out what to do.
"Miss Lowe, shouldn't you be the one paying for bail?" he said firmly.
Eula Lowe forced a smile at him, her hands reaching into the car window to adjust his tie. "Your tie is crooked, let me fix it for you. Hehehe..."
She did all of this to flatter him, and then tried to please him again.
"Judson Nash, can you put it on my tab and add it to the 56,000? I can work hard for it, right?"
Suddenly, she felt that repaying the money was too difficult. She can work as a maid, like cleaning rooms and cooking. She can handle that.
She would feel sorry to take money out, and she doesn't have that much money right now, right?
Judson Nash looked at her and noticed her change in facial expression when money was mentioned, his lips slightly curling up.
"Miss Lowe, so including interest, you owe me 76,000, and I will add it to that IOU."
Eula Lowe nodded repeatedly, "That's fine, that's fine." As long as she doesn't have to repay the money now, anything is fine.
Judson Nash narrowed his eyes, his voice calm. "Remember that you owe me money. You must not die, and you must not get into trouble."
Eula Lowe kept nodding, "Okay, okay, Judson Nash, don’t worry. I will definitely live a long and healthy life. At least until I pay off the debt."
Although that's what she said, in her heart, she cursed.
"Judson Nash, you're really stingy, afraid that I would die without repaying the money? Even if I die, I have three children, they will repay it. You can rest assured, we won't default on the debt."
Judson Nash's car suddenly sped away, frightening Eula Lowe, causing her to step back.
She was so scared. She almost fell down by his car just now.
She kicked the air and muttered to herself, "Judson Nash, you villain."
Darcy Osborne walked towards her, then laughed.
"Eula Lowe, I envy you. Both of the young masters from the two major families in A City are fighting over you. You're really lucky!"
When Eula Lowe thought about how she owed that guy Judson Nash 76,000, she felt like crying.
"Envy? Don't envy me," she sighed. "I just want to cry."
