Chapter 40 Her Cozy Home

Judson walked into the built-in bathroom, a very small one with just a washbasin and a shower, no bathtub.

Looking at the washbasin, he saw her pale green toothbrush, matching cup, face towel, and some cosmetics. Everything was clean and tidy, without a single trace of water stains.

This woman lived a refined life. At least her home was tidy and cozy.

The house was not decorated luxuriously and it was quite old.

However, through her care, simple decorations, and a simple life, this old house had become warm and peaceful.

This house was very much unlike his own house, which was dominated by black, white, and gray, giving off a cold and lifeless atmosphere.

Eula came in holding a new toothbrush, cup, and towel.

"If you want to take a shower, go ahead. There's hot water."

A man like him should take a shower every day, otherwise he would definitely feel uncomfortable.

Judson looked at the blue toothbrush and cup and accepted them.

"I'll wait for you downstairs. You can come down for breakfast after you finish washing up."

After saying that, she turned and left. As her hair moved, a faint scent and a slight sweetness drifted through the air, smelling delightful.

Judson found this fragrance incredibly familiar, but he couldn't remember where he had smelled it before.

He took a deep breath and realized that her scent filled the entire bathroom, intoxicating and alluring.

Eula went downstairs. The three children hadn't gone to school yet and were standing at the bottom of the stairs, seemingly waiting for her.

All three of them were wearing navy blue school uniforms and carrying their school bags. They should be going to school soon.

Angie giggled, "Eula, you're awake? What about the handsome Uncle?"

Eula's face blushed slightly, but she remained calm.

"He's awake too. Dewitt, Rodolfo, let's talk for a moment."

Angie glanced at her two brothers and thought for a moment.

"Don't bully the handsome Uncle anymore, okay?"

Dewitt patted her head, "Hmm!"

Taking it as their agreement, Angie smiled at Eula again.

"I'll wait for you outside. Hurry up, or we'll be late."

Eula held the hands of the two children and walked to the sofa. She sat down and gazed deeply at the two handsome young boys in front of her.

They were both so good-looking, with well-defined facial features and sharp minds. They were extremely intelligent.

Perhaps this was inherited from their father; he probably wasn't lacking in that area either.

"You shouldn't treat guests like that next time."

Especially Judson, that man is quite formidable. I was played by him and ended up in a miserable state. From now on, it's better to suffer a loss than to confront him, or else you'll only have a worse time.

She said these words in her mind, not directly speaking them out loud.

Dewitt and Rodolfo nodded, "Okay!"

They were well-behaved and understanding. Whenever she talked to them, they would respond this way.

"Go on, go to school."

Then she called out, "Mary, will you take them to school today?"

Mary came out from the kitchen, "Eula, the soup is in the rice cooker, and the dishes are on the table."

After letting Eula know about the breakfast dishes, she followed the three children out.

Eula poured a cup of warm water and silently drank it. She was still thinking about work and needed to find a job as soon as possible.

At that moment, her phone rang. It was Darcy calling.

Eula answered, "Darcy."

"Eula, the hospital said they found a suitable bone marrow match, but I've heard that the person is a soldier and still in the military. They will contact them."

This was good news. It was amazing how things could be resolved quickly once money was involved. It had only been a day, and they already found a match for the bone marrow. It was truly incredible.
