Chapter 39 The Sweater She Knitted Herself

Last night, he clearly saw that it was her who undressed him, but she framed Mary for it.

Judson curved his lips and glanced at her, his deep eyes showing a hint of doubt.

"Last night, I seem to remember that it was you who undressed me."

As soon as these words came out, Eula's face turned red.

She panicked! Her big eyes darted around.

“You had had too much to drink, so you must have seen things wrong. It was Mary who undressed you and even wiped your body. I'm just a girl, it's not appropriate for me to do these things for you."

Judson, who could lie without blushing, looked at her with an even deeper gaze.

Suddenly, he pulled away the blanket and stood up.

Judson's perfect figure was revealed, and Eula couldn't help but glance, especially at the most obvious part of a man in the morning.

She was so startled, her mouth half-opened. Isn't this a bit too exaggerated?

She quickly turned around and said, "I have already washed and dried your clothes. Let me fetch them for you. Just wait a moment."

Eula ran out of the bedroom and went to the balcony. She took his clothes down from the clothesline and held them in her arms.

She looked at the clothes, frowning slightly. How did they become so wrinkled?

Suddenly, she remembered that all his clothes were handmade and these fabrics couldn't be touched by water. They could only be dry-cleaned and couldn't withstand the rough treatment of a washing machine.

Eula quickly checked the labels and took a few steps back in fear.

These items together were worth several hundred thousand dollars, and if they were ruined, would he make her pay for them?

Eula closed her eyes. She felt like she always had bad luck with money, ever since she met Judson.

Heavens! I don't want to spend my whole life cooking and cleaning for him.

Eula could only hide the clothes away, then she returned to the bedroom, feeling embarrassed.

"Where are the clothes?"

"Judson, your clothes were stolen from the balcony last night."

She felt like she was becoming too good at making up stories, but it was true that clothes could be stolen, right?

"Maybe your clothes were too valuable."

After saying that, she awkwardly smiled again, while Judson's face darkened.

"Ruined during washing?"

"Umm, no, I had them dry-cleaned and hung them out to remove any odors. I didn't expect them to be stolen."

Judson had already seen right through her story, but this little girl had gotten smarter. She thought that if she said they were stolen, she wouldn't have to compensate, right?

Eula suddenly remembered, "I'll find a set for you. I have men's clothes here, previously given to..."

But he probably wouldn't wear clothes that someone else had worn, so she stopped explaining.

She took out a white turtleneck, a gray sweater, and a khaki-colored pair of trousers from the closet.

"These are all new, you can wear them for now."

She carefully placed the clothes and pants on the bed, and Judson took a glance. It was absolutely her taste.

This little girl liked warm colors like these.

"Bought for Geoffrey?"

He immediately figured it out. Eula nodded.

"I knitted the sweater for a long time, and the pants were bought. I just wanted to thank Geoffrey. I couldn't afford anything else, so I gave him a sweater. Mary said they might make a matching set."

Upon hearing this, Judson grabbed the clothes and put them on. They fit perfectly.

If she had knitted it and hadn't given it away, then she mustn't even think about giving it away to anyone else. He claimed it as his own.

Eula turned her back to him and waited until he finished dressing. Her eyes brightened.

"I'll go prepare your breakfast. I'll get you a new toothbrush and towel."
