Casey nodded and said, "It is understandable. Nathan and Cara rarely appear in public. In Houston, most people have only heard of Scott having a grandson and granddaughter, but very few have actually seen them! However, I've heard that Scott loves them very much, especially Cara!"

Aaron took his invitation card and sat down at Table 2, the second most important position after Table 1.

While feeling unhappy, Aaron suddenly saw Abigail sitting across from him.

As they quietly conversed, Ryder noticed the familiar faces at the head table. Jack, the President of the Good Group, David, the President of Houston Bank, and Andrew, the owner of The Pint House, were all there. Of course, they couldn't miss greeting Ryder when they noticed him.
Ryder responded with a smile and an acknowledging nod to each of them. After all, these individuals had all helped him in some way. Coincidentally, Nathan and Cara were sitting right beside them.
When Cara saw Ryder, she expressed surprise, saying, "It's you?"
Ryder awkwardly replied, "Uh... yes, it's me!"
Cara apologetically smiled a shy smile and said, "Um...about earlier, I'm sorry! Please don't hold it against me!"
At the same time, Nathan proactively extended his hand to Ryder and said, "Sir, my sister has already told me about what happened earlier. Please don't be mad at her."
