Chapter 664 Silver Wolf Gang!

The most crucial thing was that among this group, Ryder recognized three faces all too well.

One was Zach, the old man's son from before. The other two were the sleazy guys from last night—the ones who'd tried to harass a drunk woman and ended up with broken arms instead.

One glance told Ryder everything he needed to know. These men had come for him. Without betraying any emotion, he pulled out his phone and quickly sent a text message behind his back.

With his injuries not yet healed, a direct confrontation would be stupid. Right now, he just needed to buy time.

"What do you want?" Calista stepped forward, mustering her courage as the manager of the delivery station. She had the backing of Passion Logistics Management Company and Maple Group—that was her source of confidence.

But these men didn't give her a second thought. The guy with the broken arm—one of last night's creeps—impatiently shoved her aside with his good hand.

"Get lost, fatso! This doesn't concern you!" Then he called over his shoulder, "Zach! You too! Come identify which stupid bastard messed with you guys!"

"Ernest, it's him!" Zach immediately pointed at Ryder.

"That's right, Ernest! He's the one who broke my arm!" the other sleazy guy chimed in through gritted teeth.

Ernest looked at Ryder with surprise, then let out a contemptuous snort. "Three grown men taken down by one young guy? That's embarrassing to even mention."

Zach and his buddy hung their heads in shame.

Ernest turned his gaze toward Ryder, his tone icy. "Kid, I heard Zach dropped the Silver Wolf Gang's name, and instead of backing off, you beat them even harder? What, you don't respect us?"

A cold smile tugged at Ryder's lips. These guys certainly had a talent for embellishing stories to their boss. He pointed at the three men and asked calmly, "What if I told you all three of them were actually beaten up by a woman? Would you believe that?"

"Impossible!" Ernest exploded with rage.

Zach and his friends immediately started screaming: "That's bullshit! You did it!"

"Ernest is right! How could we possibly be taken down by a woman? He's just trying to shift the blame!"

Ryder understood the situation clearly. Even if the Silver Wolf Gang knew the truth internally, for the sake of their "gang pride," he would be taking the fall no matter what.

Meanwhile, as Calista listened to the exchange, the color drained from her face. The Silver Wolf Gang? They were the notorious local gang known for their ruthlessness and fierce loyalty to their own. Rumor had it that it was better to offend the police and spend a few years in jail than to mess with the Silver Wolf Gang. The consequences were unimaginable!

A single thought crystallized in her mind: Ryder was completely screwed!

In the next second, Calista backed away several steps, afraid of being caught in the crossfire. The other delivery staff followed her lead, instantly creating a vacuum around Ryder.

Ernest was pleased with everyone's reaction, but when his eyes landed on Sarah, they widened appreciatively. He made no attempt to hide his lewd appraisal, his filthy thoughts spilling directly into words.

"Holy shit! Your girl is smoking hot! That waist, that ass, those breasts... damn, I've never seen such a perfect woman!" He licked his lips. "But beautiful, I suggest you step back—it would be a shame to damage that pretty face of yours!"

Sarah frowned, tugging at Ryder's arm and lowering her voice. "You're still injured. Let me handle this. We can pay them off."

"No need." Ryder positioned Sarah behind him, his voice quiet but resolute. "Leave it to me."

He raised his head, fixing Ernest with an ice-cold stare.

"Playing the hero for your beauty, huh?" Ernest sneered. "Today, we'll see what's harder—your bones or the Silver Wolf Gang's fists! Tell me your name. I don't waste my time on nameless nobodies!"

Ryder replied flatly, "The name is Ryder."

"Ryder?" Ernest repeated, grinning maliciously. "Good. So, Ryder, you hurt my men. How do you propose we settle this?" He paused, his expression growing more mocking.

"How about this—you crawl between my legs, apologize to my men, and send that woman behind you to my bed. If that puts me in a good mood, we'll call it even! Otherwise, I'm not only going to cripple you, I'll demolish this pathetic delivery station too!"

His words were calculated to isolate Ryder completely. Sure enough, when Calista heard the threat about destroying the station, she was the first to react.

"Ryder, did you hear that? Apologize to Ernest right now! Otherwise, I'll fire you on the spot and blacklist you forever!"

Ryder coldly shot back, "On what grounds?"

These demands had touched his absolute limit.

"On the grounds that I'm your boss!" Calista shrieked. "Why should the entire station—why should I—suffer for your mistakes? Can you take responsibility for that?"

Then, instantly switching to a fawning smile, she turned to Ernest. "Please calm down, Ernest! Ryder offended you because he's a complete idiot! That woman you've taken an interest in is his wife—for a delivery boy like him, it's an honor that someone like you would want his wife! Take her with you, just please spare our station!"

Hearing this, Ernest let out an amused laugh. "Well said! Kid, consider yourself lucky to have married such a perfect woman! Fine, hand over your wife, and we'll call it even!"

For him, this was killing two birds with one stone—avenging his men while also delivering this perfect beauty to his gang's young master to curry favor.

Just as Ernest was gloating, Ryder's ice-cold voice cut through the air, each word seemingly forced through clenched teeth: "If any of you dares to touch my wife, none of you will be walking out of here today."

His voice wasn't loud, but it carried an unmistakable murderous intent.

"Well, aren't you brave!" Ernest's expression darkened. "A lowly delivery boy with such a big mouth! You think we won't touch you in broad daylight? Get out of my way, or I'll cripple you first!"

Ryder didn't budge an inch, just fixed him with those bone-chilling eyes and repeated, deliberately emphasizing each word:

"I'll say it one more time. Touch her, and none of you will be leaving."
