Chapter 293 Mother-in-law Causing Trouble Again?
Sandra's slap was about to land on Barbara's face!
A large hand suddenly appeared and grabbed Sandra's wrist!
Sandra turned her head and glared. "It's you?"
The one grabbing her wrist was Ryder!
Standing next to him was Sarah!
"So what if it's me?"
Sandra snapped angrily, "Let go! Don't dirty my hand!"
Ryder complied, then smiled faintly and added, "Honestly, I was worried your wrist would dirty my hand! No one knows which men your hands have been touching. After all, when you're making love with Roy in Roy's office, your hands are quite restless!"
This remark was clearly aimed at Sandra!
She was so angry that her eye twitched!
Ryder's words were really sharp!
Knowing she couldn't win an argument with Ryder, Sandra had to change her approach and warned him, "Ryder! I'm talking to Annie. This is a family matter, and I advise you not to interfere. You have no right to interfere!"
Ryder looked indifferent and said, "Your family's mess has nothing to do with me. Don't flatter yourself! Sarah and I are just here to check on Barbara's recovery. If you have nothing else, please leave!"

Sandra looked shocked and said, "You're telling me to leave? Are you crazy? This is a hospital. What right do you have to tell me to leave? Do you think you're the director? How amusing!"
Ryder chuckled coldly. "I'm not the director, but I paid for this high-end ward, so I naturally have the right to decide who stays. Therefore, I have the right to ask you to leave this ward!"
Sandra, unwilling to give in, said, "But I'm here to take care of Annie. She's the patient, and any decisions should..."
Before she could finish, Barbara's voice interrupted, "Mom! Go home! I don't need you to take care of me!"
Sandra turned to Barbara in disbelief!
She didn't expect Barbara to side with Ryder!
This made Sandra lose face, but she was outnumbered and had no advantage in Ryder's territory!
After hesitating for a few seconds, Sandra pointed at Ryder's nose and threatened, "Ryder! Don't think you're lucky this time, and start getting cocky. Let me tell you, I still have many cards up my sleeve! We'll see!"
Sandra put on her sunglasses and mask and walked towards the ward door in high heels!

Sarah stepped forward, held Barbara's hand, and comforted her, "Barbara, don't listen to Sandra. Marriage is free now, and no one has the right to make decisions for you!"
Barbara nodded but said nothing!
Although Sarah made sense, Barbara knew Sandra well enough to know she wouldn't give up until she achieved her goal!

Suddenly, Barbara thought of something and looked at Ryder meaningfully. "Ryder, thank you!"
"Thank me for what?"
"You know."
Ryder remained silent.
Sarah looked at the two of them in confusion, feeling a sense of crisis!
Since the day after the press conference incident, Sarah had asked Ryder to take her to the hospital to check on Barbara's condition!
For three consecutive days!
During these three days of interaction, Sarah always felt that Barbara had changed in some way!

Lily: [I watched the entire live broadcast of the press conference that day. You looked so handsome in that suit! I was drooling!]

With a buzz, Lily sent Ryder six or seven videos!
Ryder instinctively clicked on one!
He was startled!
The video content was of Lily dancing in a short skirt and high heels.

Ryder: [Ok! I'll be there on time!]
Lily replied with a kissing-face expression.
Just as Ryder was about to reply!
The ward door suddenly opened!
Sarah walked out, glanced at Ryder, and asked, "Who are you chatting with?"
Ryder, keeping a straight face, replied, "Nothing much, just chatting!"
But inside, he was panicking!
If Sarah found out about the videos Lily sent, she would definitely kill him.
Fortunately, Sarah didn't dwell on the question. With a somewhat anxious expression, she said to Ryder, "Come with me to the company!"
Ryder asked, "Is it urgent?"
Sarah nodded and replied, "Emily just called and said my mom is causing trouble at the company!"
