Chapter 326 Not Giving Up!

Tornado's taunt was loud and clear, and the crowd heard every word.

George's crew was instantly furious.

"Tornado, you jerk! What's he saying to Steven? I wanna kill him!"

"Tornado's so full of himself!"

"Steven, ignore him! If you can't beat him, just let George handle it!"

Steven wiped the blood from his mouth, looking serious. "I choose the third option!"

"The third option?" Tornado was momentarily confused.

Steven grinned. "I'm gonna take you down!"

With a roar, Steven leaped and kicked Tornado in the stomach!

Tornado didn't manage to dodge and took the full hit, stumbling back a couple of steps.

Though the kick was strong, Tornado was a seasoned underground fighter with ten straight wins. He barely felt it.

"If you wanna die, don't blame me for not holding back!" Tornado snarled, charging at Steven.

He threw a straight punch, but Steven dodged!

Then Tornado swept his leg, and Steven fell to the ground!

Before Steven could get up, Tornado kicked him hard in the stomach, sending him rolling.

Steven's stomach twisted in pain, leaving him helpless.

"Come on! Weren't you talking big? Still think you can take me down?" Tornado taunted, straddling Steven and punching him again.

Steven's cheek swelled up. He tried to get up but couldn't.

Tornado sneered, "Call me daddy and admit defeat, or I'll beat you to death! The underground fight rules say if you die in the ring, it's your own fault. No laws broken, no consequences, got it?"

Steven panted heavily, his body racked with agony. He knew he couldn't beat Tornado, but giving up wasn't an option.

Steven smirked, "Go to hell! If you can, kill me. George will avenge me!"

With that, Steven spat blood on Tornado's face.

Tornado wiped the blood off, his eyes twitching with rage. In all his years, he'd never met someone this stubborn.

"Damn it! You asked for this. I'm gonna kill you!" Tornado cursed, punching Steven's face and shoulders repeatedly.

Despite the relentless assault and the constant screams, but Steven never said, "I give up!" He fought back whenever he could, even if it was minimal.

The crowd buzzed with chatter.

"What's the point of being so tough? If you can't win, just give up. No shame in that!"

"Just kill him already. I wanna see the result!"

"Wait! The betting window's still open. Looks like Mr. Davis's team is winning the first round. I need to place more bets!"

George's men were emotional, their eyes red.

"Damn it! This is too much!"

"Steven, don't push it! What if you..."

"Steven, you're awesome! I'll never say you don't pay the hookers again!"

Standing by the ring, George looked grim. Steven was his hometown buddy and one of his closest allies. Seeing him get beaten like this made George furious.

George shouted, "Steven, don't listen to Tornado! Just raise your hand to admit defeat. You've done enough! That's an order!"

Steven, as a loyal subordinate, was about to raise his hand when Tornado swatted it away and stomped on it. "Want to give up? Did you get my permission?" Tornado sneered, then punched Steven hard again.

The audience buzzed with excitement.

George quickly shouted to the host, "Stop Tornado! Our guy is trying to admit defeat!"

The host smiled politely. "Sorry, George. Our rules state the loser must either lose consciousness or raise their hand. Steven hasn't done either."

"But Tornado is stepping on his hand! He was about to admit defeat!" George protested.

The host shrugged. "Sorry. I'm only following the rules."

"Bastard!" George's forehead veins bulged in anger. He glanced at Kenneth, who sat with a cigar in hand, looking smug.

Rex asked worriedly, "George, what do we do? If this continues, Steven might die!"

Before George could reply, Edward sneered, "It's not just a matter of someone possibly dying—someone will definitely die! Tornado might not be the best, but he's a pro. He’ll likely torture Steven half to death before finally finishing him off!"

Rex's heart sank, and George's expression was grim. Edward was right.

Steven lay under Tornado, his face beaten beyond recognition and covered in blood. Tornado looked exhilarated. He gave George the finger and taunted, "See this? Your buddy is about to be beaten to death by me! You’re the Houston Boss, but I’m curious—are you pissed off? Too bad, before you can do anything, Steven will be gone! Say goodbye to him!"

Tornado clenched his fist, ready to strike Steven's temple. He was confident this blow would be fatal.

Just as he was about to strike, Steven mustered a bit of strength and kneed Tornado in the groin. Tornado screamed and instinctively stood up. Steven seized the chance to break free and, with the last of his strength, raised his hand. "I give up!"

The first match ended there, according to the rules.

From below the ring, George stared at the stunned Tornado, his eyes flashing with cold fury. "Are you ready to face my wrath?"
