Chapter 201 Kneel down, get slapped.
Joshua was knocked down by the bottle and ended up kneeling on the ground again.
Blood was flowing down his forehead.
Joshua screamed in agony, his hands covered in blood.
He couldn't believe what he was seeing. His eyes were wide open.
How could Ryder be so crazy? How dare he beat him so brutally in front of all these people?
In his anger, he quickly shouted at the surrounding group of people, "Don't just stand there, come over and help!"
Everyone else was also shocked by Ryder's sudden actions. It was insane.
As they gathered everyone and were about to rush forward, Ryder turned around, his cold eyes scanning the crowd.
He said in a deep voice, "If you're not afraid of death, come at me."
At this moment, Ryder had a fierce expression on his face. The half bottle in his hand was dripping with blood. His aura was terrifying.
Anyone could see that Ryder was ready to kill.
For a moment, everyone was intimidated.
They hesitated and wondered who would be the first to charge forward.
After all, their lives could be at stake.
Joshua became anxious when he saw that.
He sternly scolded, "What are you all standing there for? There’s so many of you, but you’re all afraid of that loser? Hurry up and attack."
"If we teach him a lesson, all the drinks tonight will be on the house, and each and every one of you will have a share when we get a taste of Sarah later."
The offer was tempting.
Everyone immediately rolled up their sleeves, ready to brave it and attack Ryder.
Sarah stood nervously behind Ryder.
Suddenly, “boom!” There was a loud noise.
The bar door was kicked open.
Immediately after, a large group of about thirty or forty people rushed in.
A tall and burly bald man led the group. It was George Weir.
George pushed through the crowd and walked quickly to Ryder's side, respectfully saying, "Sorry we’re late, Mr. Clark."
Ryder didn't bother to involve the SR Group employees through Emily when he was searching for Sarah.
Instead, he sought the help of George and his men.
At first, Ryder was in a hopeless tangle as he searched in all directions.
There were no clues at all.
But suddenly, Ryder thought of something.
Three years ago, Sarah had gotten drunk at a bar in a street by the Elmrest River because she had been betrayed.
In the end, she was harassed by hooligans. Ryder happened to pass by and save her.
Impressed by Sarah's gratitude, Ryder married her.
You could say that this street was the place where Ryder and Sarah first met.
Ryder quickly went to that street to try to find Sarah. and he asked George to bring his subordinates as soon as possible.
That was how it had happened.
Ryder said to George, "Fortunately, it's not too late."
He pointed to Joshua kneeling on the ground and asked, "Do you know this scumbag?"
George frowned slightly, pondering for a few seconds, and replied, "As far as I remember, he's just a minor character in the Houston bar scene. Did he provoke you?"
Ryder nodded.
George's eyes narrowed, emitting a chilling coldness.
The entire bar seemed to be filled with a bloody smell.
People familiar with George knew that he was angry.
At this moment, Joshua was frightened. His legs were trembling and his pants were wet.
George maintained a respectful attitude toward Ryder. He was truly an unfathomable super boss.
When Joshua realized this, he no longer cared about his reputation.
With a mournful face, he began to beg Ryder for mercy. "It was all a misunderstanding. It's my fault. Can you please spare me? I'm begging you."
As he said that, he bent his head to the ground and bowed repeatedly.
Ryder had just smashed open his head, and it was bleeding.
So, whenever Joshua’s head touched the ground, it would leave a blood stain.
This scene made the onlookers sweat for Joshua.
Ryder's expression remained unchanged as he coldly said, "I've seen too many people like you. You’re arrogant when things go well and beg for mercy after you cause trouble. You rely on 'misunderstanding,' 'showing mercy,' or 'admitting mistakes' to get by. But if those words were effective, what would be the point of having police or laws?
"I understand how to deal with people like you, I don't plan on giving you a lesson. I’m going to trample you into the ground, so you’ll never rise again."
Joshua began to tremble all over. He didn't understand the meaning behind Ryder's words.
Ryder took a step forward, looking down at Joshua, and calmly asked, "Which hand did you use to grab my wife?"
Joshua nervously swallowed and stuttered his response, "M-My... left hand."
As soon as he finished speaking, Ryder grabbed Joshua's left arm and stomped on it. Then, he forcefully jabbed the broken end of a beer bottle into Joshua's palm.
Blood sprayed everywhere.
Joshua screamed in agony, his body writhing like a worm. He desperately tried to pull the bottle out, but it was impossible since Ryder was firmly trampling on it.
Ryder pulled the broken beer bottle out of Joshua's left hand.
"Ah!" He released another miserable scream.
Ryder's expression remained icy as he continued to stare at Joshua, asking, "And which hand did you use to force my wife to drink?"
"I... I..." Joshua's lips trembled, too afraid to answer.
"Speak!" Ryder shouted.
This frightened Joshua so much that he started crying. He sobbed and choked, "It... it was my right hand, my right hand. I really made a mistake."
However, this plea didn't affect Ryder's decision in the slightest. He grabbed Joshua's right hand without hesitation and once again inserted the broken beer bottle into the middle of his palm.
Joshua rolled on the ground as more blood spurted out of his hand.
Disgusted, Ryder glanced at Joshua, released the bottle, stood up, and kicked him aside.
As he turned his head, his gaze fell on the spectators who had been watching. His tone was cold as he asked, "Did any of you disrespect my wife? Stand up."
The group of people turned pale with fear when they heard that.
Under Ryder's questioning and the fierce gaze of George and the others, those who had been disrespectful to Sarah earlier took a trembling step forward.
Their hearts were in their mouths, worried that they would meet the same fate as Joshua.
Ryder glanced at the group of people and coldly uttered, "Kneel down and slap your face."
