Chapter 332 Rex's Outburst!

That punch was insanely powerful, capable of killing an average person!

Even though Rex was built tougher than most, a hit to the throat still hurt a lot!

He stumbled back a few steps, rubbing his throat, struggling to swallow as the burning pain persisted.

Thankfully, there was no serious damage!

Jeffrey was shocked!

That punch was one of his best moves!

Even many skilled underground fighters would have fallen from it, but Rex took it and stayed up!

"Freak!" Jeffrey thought, his frustration mounting.

But his years of fighting kept him calm, and he quickly refocused.

He swung his fists and launched a relentless assault on Rex, his attacks fiercer than before.

Fists, elbows, and knees rained down, striking Rex from every angle. Jeffrey’s speed and power were at their peak.

Rex looked like a punching bag!

Rex kept his head covered, unable to counterattack!

The relentless barrage of blows echoed through the arena, and the crowd erupted in excitement as they watched the one-sided attack unfold.

"Now that's a real underground fighter! This is thrilling!"

"That big oaf can't even fight back. Look at him covering his head like a dumb bear!"

"If that big oaf goes down, I'll win all my bets today!"

"I don't know why, but I feel sick seeing that bumpkin from the countryside! Jeffrey should've beaten him like this!"

Kenneth, smiling, took a big puff of his cigar and said to Ronald, "Ronald, you really know your stuff. This Jeffrey is great, reliable!"

Ronald, looking smug, replied, "Of course. He's top five in the state. In Houston, he's unbeatable!"

Then Ronald glanced at Daniel. "See? That so-called tough guy Rex can't even fight back!"

"Yeah, I see it!" Daniel replied with a bitter smile.

But he felt something was off because he knew Rex's strength was way beyond this!

George looked worried. "Jeffrey's moves are too fierce. No matter how strong Rex is, he can't take this beating for long! It's strange, during training, Rex’s reaction speed and fighting skills were excellent during training. Why is he struggling in the ring? Could it be psychological pressure?"

Ryder, standing nearby, didn't say anything.

He was worried about Rex but also felt this was Rex's chance to overcome his inner hurdles!

Jeffrey continued his relentless assault on Rex in the ring. The intense barrage lasted over a minute, and Jeffrey was now panting heavily.

This fight was proving more exhausting than facing any tough opponent in practice.

But now, Rex should be done!

So Jeffrey stopped and stepped back a couple of steps!

Opposite him, Rex was bent over, still holding his head with his arms crossed.

After about five or six seconds, Rex coughed, then slowly straightened up and lowered his arms.

He revealed his head!

When Jeffrey saw Rex’s condition, his eyes widened in shock. The areas on Rex’s body that had been hit were only slightly red and swollen.

His head, which had taken the most hits, showed only a bit of a nosebleed and a slight bruise on his left cheek.

Clearly, Rex hadn't sustained any serious injuries!

The key point was, Jeffrey noticed Rex's eyes had changed!

Before, they were filled with insecurity and a bit of timidity.

But now, Rex's eyes were fierce, like a beast's! Being stared at like that was unsettling!

'What the hell is going on?' Jeffrey thought.

He nervously swallowed, and sweat started to bead on his forehead.

Rex was breathing evenly now, and a flood of memories from his past surged through his mind. Ever since his parents had passed away, he had been ostracized by his peers in the village.

They had labeled him a wild child, a fool—an outcast.

In his anger, he had fought back and accidentally hurt another kid.

Because of this, Rex's grandmother had to take him to apologize in person.

Later, in middle school, he faced the same ostracism and insults because he was a rural kid.

Enraged, Rex fought back again!

He took on five kids by himself, sending four of them to the hospital!

His grandmother had to spend a whole year's worth of farming income to cover the damages.

After dropping out of middle school, Rex worked on construction sites, learned to repair cars, and even worked as a chef. He had tried almost every job!

But because of his background and honest nature, Rex was always bullied and ostracized.

He didn't dare to fight back because he didn't want his grandmother to worry.

As a result, Rex kept moving from one place to another, never finding a place where he truly belonged.

Even relatives on his father's side kept their distance from him!

Eventually, Rex and his grandmother moved to Houston, where he met Ryder, a relative his grandmother often mentioned.

From the moment Rex saw Ryder, he felt an immediate sense of kinship.

And indeed, Ryder treated him with great care, like a true brother, providing for all his needs.

From that moment, Rex silently vowed to protect Ryder with his life!

Now, this match was crucial for Ryder, so Rex was determined not to lose, no matter what!

Otherwise, he would feel guilty for the rest of his life.

"I must win!" Rex took a deep breath and said with a serious expression.

At this moment, Kenneth in the audience seating area couldn't stay calm any longer. He stood up and shouted to Jeffrey, "Jeffrey! Fight well! If you win, I'll give you an extra one million dollars bonus!"

People would do anything for money!

Even for Jeffrey, one million dollars was a significant amount!

"Big oaf, let me show you my ultimate move!" Jeffrey sneered, his eyes gleamed with a bloodthirsty light!

In the next instant, he bent over and surged forward with sudden speed.

When he was just three inches away from Rex, Jeffrey leaped high into the air, quickly wrapping his hands around Rex's head!

At the same time, Jeffrey's right knee powered up, aiming to strike Rex's throat!

This was the most ferocious move he had learned from boxing, a move known for its lethal potential.

The force of this move was many times greater than the previous punch to the throat!

Even someone as strong as Rex would have difficulty withstanding it.

Just as Jeffrey's knee was about to hit Rex's throat, Rex suddenly grabbed Jeffrey's right leg with both hands, like a vise, immobilizing it!

With a thunderous roar, Rex’s muscles tensed as he yanked Jeffrey’s leg with all his might, sending him crashing hard onto the ground.
