Chapter 515 Night Visit to the Stadium!

The security guard's words took Ryder by surprise!

The person in front of him was actually a witness to the stadium fire three years ago!

The guard saw Ryder's interest and kept going. "I get it, you kids think it's all BS. I used to think so too. But for the past two years, every damn night, I hear crying, screaming—chills me to the bone. And sometimes? I actually see them. A while back, I got sick and took a few days off. Some wannabe ghost hunters snuck in for kicks. They saw them—and one girl was so freaked out, she was sick for days. Made the news and everything. So take it from me, don't go in there just 'cause you're young and dumb. If something goes wrong, you'd be dead!"

After hearing the security guard's story, Ryder nodded, half-understanding, and smiled at the guard, "Since you put it that way, I won't go in. Thanks for the warning!"

Hearing this, the security guard nodded repeatedly, "That's great!"

But just as he finished speaking, Ryder suddenly asked, "I heard this place is going to be auctioned off in a few days. If it's haunted, that's gotta tank the price, right?"

"Yeah!" The guard blurted out, then caught himself and awkwardly waved Ryder off. "What do I know about that? I'm just the guy with the keys. You should get outta here, kid!"

Ryder didn't ask any more questions and left the stadium gate with Rex.

The security guard watched their figures disappear from view before turning back to the guard room.

What he didn't see was that Ryder and Rex hadn't actually left. They'd looped around to the other side of the stadium.

There, they were faced with a solid 10-foot wall—no ladder, no tools, no way up.

But who was Rex?

He was no ordinary person!

He jumped up, grabbed the top of the wall, climbed up, and then pulled Ryder up!

The two of them climbed into the stadium together!

Rex, puzzled, asked, "Ryder, didn't you just promise the security guard you wouldn't go in? Why are we sneaking in now?"

A sly smile appeared on Ryder's lips, "Of course, to catch ghosts!"

"Catch ghosts?" Rex's face changed slightly!

"What, are you afraid of ghosts?" Ryder looked at Rex and teased him.

Hearing this, Rex immediately widened his eyes and replied, "I'm not afraid of any ghosts. If I see one, I'll catch it and beat it up!"

Ryder shook his head and smiled wryly.

Then he and Rex slipped through a door into the interior of the stadium!

The stadium had been abandoned for over three years, and the track inside was already in ruins.

Some places even had weeds growing!

A cool evening breeze blew through, adding to the eerie atmosphere!

By now, the sun had completely set, and the moonlight was gradually spreading over the night.

Ryder and Rex walked up the steps of the stands.

After circling halfway around, they passed through a corridor to the outside of the stands.

From this spot, they could look through a window and see the direction of the guard room at the main entrance of the stadium!

Rex didn't get why Ryder had dragged him over here, but after working for him long enough, he knew Ryder's moves were wild but never pointless.

So he stayed put, standing quietly beside him.

Still, he couldn't shake the nerves.

Growing up, he'd heard a ton of ghost stories from the old folks back in his village, and he'd always bought into the idea that ghosts were real.

The security guard's story sounded so real that he was convinced there were ghosts here!

Even though he was a bit scared, he would do his best to protect Ryder's safety no matter what!

Ryder, oblivious to Rex's inner freak-out, kept his eyes locked on the guard room below.

After about twenty minutes, the guard room door swung open, and the security guard stepped out. He glanced around sneakily, making sure the coast was clear.

Then he headed to the stadium gate, pulled out a key, and unlocked the massive iron door.

A couple of minutes later, a car pulled up and stopped at the gate.

Four young people hopped out—three guys and one girl.

They exchanged a few words with the security guard, then grabbed two boxes from the trunk and walked into the stadium.

Seeing this, Rex whispered, "Ryder, what are these people doing? The security guard actually let them in!"

"Not sure yet," Ryder replied. "Let's just keep an eye on things."

As he spoke, he pulled out his phone and snapped a few stealthy shots of the group below.

"We'll tail them quietly. Stay low—don't blow our cover," he added.

Rex nodded.

The two of them circled around, keeping their eyes on the group as they walked to the center of the stadium!

The group opened the boxes!

Inside were various props and models, including wigs, blood packs, torn clothes, and so on.

Two guys and the girl grabbed the props.

Then they scattered to different hidden spots in the stadium—the locker room, the storage room, and other shadowy corners.

The last guy pulled out a phone and a selfie stick, opened a live streaming app, and hit "go live."

He faked being out of breath and shouted into the camera, "What's up, everyone! It's your boy Brandon. Guess where I'm at right now? That's right—the Rigal District Stadium! Just snuck past security. This is gonna be wild!"

The host, Brandon Murphy, was already a somewhat famous streamer on this app!

He had about seventy to eighty thousand followers!

Soon, some fans joined the livestream!

Hearing that Brandon was at the Rigal District Stadium, everyone chimed in:

"Holy crap! Brandon, you've got guts hitting up the Rigal District Stadium!"

"What's the deal with that place?"

"You're not from around here, huh? Everyone in NYC knows that the stadium's haunted. It's been all over the news!"

"You're fearless, man. Aren't you freaked out by ghosts?"

Brandon grinned at the live stream, "Don't worry, everyone. Today, I'll take you on an adventure to see if there are really any ghosts in the stadium!"

With that, Brandon raised his selfie stick and walked into the stadium!

In the live stream, only Brandon's footsteps and breathing could be heard!

The video showed the darkness of the night and an eerie atmosphere that seemed to seep through the screen!

The fans in the livestream couldn't help but feel tense:

"Why do I have a bad feeling about this?"

"Don't panic, there's no such thing as ghosts. We're here to watch Brandon debunk superstitions!"

Just as the chat was going wild with comments, Brandon pushed open the door to the stadium's locker room.

And boom! The whole stream freaked out!

Right there, in the middle of the room, was this creepy blue flame, just hovering and flickering!

Was that ghost fire?
