Chapter 395 Kneeling Until Dizzy

"What..." Deborah looked all kinds of confused and shot a quick glance at Barbara.

She realized this woman was way out of her league in terms of looks, body, and overall vibe!

She never thought a bombshell like that would be chatting it up with Ryder, and they seemed pretty tight.

Ryder's voice cut through the awkward silence. "What? You forget what you just said? Or do you need to start a live stream to get in the zone? If that's the case, I can hook it up for you right now!"

Deborah's face turned beet red at his words.

The whole situation flipped on her real quick, and she hated it!

And she was even more pissed that Ryder knew such a knockout!

So, she started throwing shade. "Ha! Ryder, don't think you can fool me by spending some cash to hire a chick?"

"Look at her outfit. A grown woman dressed like that must be up to no good! Security! Where's the security? Someone's dressed inappropriately here, can someone please handle this?"

Deborah started yelling her head off.

Barbara's face twisted in annoyance!

She wasn't one to mess with, and hearing Deborah's crap, her voice turned icy, "What nonsense are you spewing? Shut your trap!"

Deborah glared at Barbara.

Seeing her tall and confident stance, jealousy flared up inside her!

Instead of shutting up, she snapped, "I'm just speaking the truth. Look at your outfit, people like you have no right to judge others!"

Before Deborah could finish, Barbara had already slapped her across the face.

With a stern look, she bluntly said, "Shut up! Or I might have to remind you with another slap. Got it?"

"You dare hit me?" Deborah held her cheek, stunned.

Ever since she started making a name for herself, she was always the one dishing out the lessons, never the one getting slapped!

This was the first time someone had slapped her!

Barbara, with a cold expression, said, "Even a slap is too kind. If you don't watch your mouth, believe me, I can tear it to shreds."

As she said this, Barbara's eyes were icy, making Deborah shiver with fear!

There was a sense of being totally outmatched!

After all, Barbara came from money, always had the best, and had seen the real world.

As for Deborah, she was all about materialistic pursuits and relied on her looks to get ahead. How could she compare?

Deborah took a step back, gritting her teeth.

Pointing at Ryder, Barbara, and the sales assistant, she threatened, "Alright! Are you all ganging up on me? Wait here, I'll get someone to make sure you regret it!"

With that, she whipped out the latest iPhone and made a call.

Her previously arrogant tone turned into a pitiful whine. "Jeffery! Where are you? I'm being bullied. You gotta come help me."

"Where are you?" Jeffery asked.

"The clothing store on the fifth floor. Hurry up, or you might not even see me when you get here!"

After whining, she hung up the phone!

Her face twisted into a smug grin. "Just wait and see. I'll have you all begging on your knees later!"

Seeing her threats, the sales assistant's face went pale. After hesitating for a few seconds, she quietly whispered to Ryder, "Sir, maybe you and your girlfriend should leave first? I'm worried things might get out of hand!"

Ryder didn't even flinch at the "girlfriend" part. He zeroed in on the main point. "What do you mean?"

The sales assistant, looking a bit freaked out, explained, "I just remembered that the mall's marketing manager recently got a new girlfriend named Deborah! It could get messy if we piss her off, so I suggest you all leave for now."

Ryder's interest piqued. "Oh? Then what about you if we leave? After all, this Stinky Megan isn't happy with your service!"

"I..."

The sales assistant bit her lip, then seemed to make a decision and forced a smile at Ryder. "It's okay, sir. At most, I'll get chewed out by the manager and fined a bit. No biggie!"

"Got it!" Ryder nodded but didn't budge.

Seeing this, the sales assistant got anxious. "Sir, I'm serious, you should leave quickly, or else..."

Before she could finish, Ryder cut her off with a grin, "Since her boyfriend is the mall's marketing manager, he's also a staff member here. As consumers, he should respect us. What right does he have to cause trouble for us?"

"Well..." The sales assistant was at a loss for words.

She knew the marketing manager wasn't someone to mess with from her time working here.

Seeing her worried face, Ryder's sharp eyes caught on.

There was definitely more to this story.

Meanwhile, Deborah stood at the store entrance, clearly blocking Ryder and the others from leaving!

Just then, a man in a suit swaggered in!

He had a bulky build, a bald head, buck teeth, and a big mole the size of a pinky nail on his left cheek, complete with a single hair sprouting from it.

To put it bluntly, he was ugly as hell.

When this guy showed up, Deborah's eyes lit up!

She quickly walked up and wrapped her arms around his, rubbing her enhanced chest against his arm!

In a pitiful voice, she said, "Jeffery, you're finally here. I've been waiting forever!"

This dude was the marketing manager, Jeffery Lee!

He was in charge of the mall's marketing and had some pull in the mall's management!

Jeffery narrowed his eyes slightly, reached out to gently touch Deborah's hand, and with a cocky grin, said, "Tell me, who dares to mess with you? Today, I'll make them apologize until you are happy!"
