Chapter 540 Sorry, Not into That Kink!

Ryder didn't even glance at the black card on the ground.

Of course, he had no clue that the chubby girl in front of him had just tossed out two million bucks—all because he was wearing the outfit Clara and the others had picked out for him that morning. If he'd been in his usual online bargain-bin clothes, Lisa probably would've brushed him off with a couple hundred dollars and called it a day!

Lisa raised her voice. "Hey, it's two million bucks! Not two thousand!"

Ryder smirked, "And?"

"You should be kissing my feet for handing you this much cash!" Lisa shot back, clearly annoyed.

"Sorry, not into that kink," Ryder said, stepping back. He figured this was between Donna and Lisa—none of his business.

Lisa shot him a death glare. "Name yourself! Who the hell do you think you are, messing with me? Let's see if you've got the balls!"

She barked into the distance, "Hey, get your ass over here, now!"

"Enough!" Donna's sharp shout cut through before Lisa could finish.

Donna's mouth twisted into a sneer.

She snatched the black card off the ground and hurled it right at Lisa's pudgy face!

"Donna, what the hell's your problem?" Lisa shrieked.

"My problem?" Donna shot back, raising her right foot and landing a solid kick to Lisa's doughy midsection.

Lisa tumbled to the ground like a sack of potatoes!

In one swift move, Donna leaped up and planted herself on Lisa's chest with a thud!

Lisa let out a scream.

However, Donna had no intention of letting Lisa off so easily.

She clenched her fists tight.

Her right fist slammed into Lisa's left cheek!

Her left fist hammered Lisa's right cheek!

Her punches came so fast, there was no way to block them.

After a dozen hits, Lisa's teeth were flying, and her mouth was a bloody mess.

"Stop! It... it hurts!" Lisa slurred through the pain.

Donna hesitated, her hand hovering mid-air before she let out a cold laugh, shook her head, and stood up, grabbing the black card off the ground.

Glaring down at Lisa, she said, "Lisa, I warned you last time—if we crossed paths again, I wasn't playing the family card. If it weren't for Jasmine peddling that formaldehyde-soaked furniture to my family, my dad wouldn't have ended up with leukemia, but whatever—rehashing it's useless. Since you're holding back my livestream earnings, I'm taking this two mil as payback!"

"Donna, how dare you!!!"

"What wouldn't I dare? Tell me the password! Or I'll break one of your arms!"

Donna finished speaking and was about to stomp down.

Lisa, most afraid of pain, quickly begged for mercy, "I'll tell you, I'll tell you! 930808!"

930808?

Donna frowned, "Are you sure?"

"Yes! It's your birthday!" Lisa whimpered, tears finally streaming down her face.

Tears streamed from her eyes!

Snot ran from her nose!

Blood dripped from her mouth!

She looked both pitiful and disgusting!

Ryder and Donna exchanged glances.

Ryder suggested, "Why don't you take her to the hospital, and I'll head back first?"

He still had to go back and make things right with Sarah.

Plus, his own mess at home was still waiting for him!

Donna scoffed, "No need, let's roll. I didn't off her—that's mercy enough. The Moores owe me way more than a little beatdown. Besides, isn't someone already handling that side?"

Ryder nodded.

Not long after they left, Kyle arrived.

He saw Lisa sitting on the ground, her head buried in her knees, crying.

He quickly ran over to her, gently touching her head, and asked softly, "Lisa, what happened? Did you fall? It doesn't hurt, right?"

Hearing his voice, Lisa looked up.

"Where did this pig come from?" Kyle was so scared that he fell to the ground, ready to run away.

Earlier that morning, he had gone to the dentist with Lisa to have a tooth pulled.

On the way, Lisa had said she needed to use the bathroom, but there were no public restrooms.

Lisa had planned to relieve herself in the car.

Kyle, disgusted, suggested there was a small grove ahead, and since it was early, no one would be there!

So, Kyle waited outside the grove.

After more than ten minutes, Lisa still hadn't come out.

Then he thought he heard her voice.

Following the stone path, he found a fat pig!

The same size as Lisa!

Hearing Kyle's exclamation, Lisa kicked him. "Kyle, what are you shouting about? Are you disgusted by me? You bastard!"

Kyle took a moment to understand what had happened.

He rushed to help Lisa up. "Lisa! Who did this to you? I'll make them pay!"

Lisa stomped on Kyle's foot. "Mind your own damn business!"

Kyle winced but stayed quiet.

He gently rubbed Lisa's back. "Seeing you like this kills me! Stop trying to handle it all alone—I've got your back!"

Lisa's swollen face softened. "Drop it for now. Just carry me to the car. My stomach's acting up too!"

Kyle swallowed hard, as if making a big decision.

He walked over to Lisa, squatted down, "Lisa, get on, I'll carry you!"

When Lisa's entire body leaned on his back, it felt like carrying a mountain!

But Kyle had to bear this unbearable weight!

He had to endure it to take over the Moore family!

To become a tycoon in town!

Only then could he make those who had insulted him, like Ryder, grovel before him!

Meanwhile, Ryder and Donna returned to the Breeze Club.

Donna filled Ryder in—the hefty woman they'd just run into was Lisa, the only daughter of the Moore family, one of the most powerful clans in town!

If he recalled correctly, didn't Kyle marry into the Moore family?

He hadn't even mentioned it to Sarah!

Thinking of Sarah, who was still pissed, Ryder hurried to the private room, grabbed his fully charged phone, and dialed her number.

Still no answer!

So he tried calling Emily.

It actually connected!

But Emily spoke first, "Ryder, I really misjudged you!"

Ryder tried to explain, "Look, it's not what you think! I just crashed at the Breeze Club for the night—that's it! Seriously! Let me talk to Sarah, okay?"

"What? You stayed all night at the club?" Emily scoffed. "Typical. I should've pushed Sarah to dump you ages ago. Ryder, you player. Not only did you drop a million on some hot streamer, but you also spent the night with her at the club?!"

"Wait, what are you talking about?" Ryder caught the edge in Emily's tone and pressed, "You're pissed at me because of this?"

Emily nearly laughed in disbelief. "What else, genius? Ryder, listen up—once we hit New York, you and Sarah are done. She deserves way better than you!"

The call was then hung up.

Such a big misunderstanding?

After the call was hung up, Ryder quickly went to the next private room to find Donna!

He figured snapping a pic of Donna's bare chest would clear things up—proof Donna was a man!

"Hey, strip off your shirt—I need a photo!" Ryder blurted.

Donna crossed his arms, looking baffled. "Ryder, what the hell? I'm a man—don't freak me out like that!"
