Chapter 335 Applause for the Strong!

Rex, looking serious, repeated, "I'm not kidding, I really want to fight ten people!"

Kenneth quickly clapped and said, "Great! You said it, no one forced you! Everyone heard it!"

Rex nodded. "Alright!"

Ronald's mouth twitched, and he took a deep breath, thinking, 'Is Rex nuts? Taking on ten people is something you see in movies! Even Jeffrey would get crushed in a ring against ten people!'

The audience, who had bet on George, started complaining, calling Rex arrogant. They were sure he'd lose big time and their money was as good as gone.

George didn't say much. He hadn't known Rex long, but he knew Rex wasn't one to boast without reason. So, George nodded. "If Rex wants to fight ten, then ten it is! But you brought five people, where will you get the other five?"

Kenneth rubbed his chin, puzzled. Should he call more guys? But that would take time!

Just then, a spectator stood up and volunteered. "Mr. Davis, count me in! I bet on you guys and can't stand any foul play. I want to take down Rex myself!"

"Me too! I did boxing for three years, I can knock Rex down!"

"Count me in! I'm reliable!"

Seeing more spectators stand up, Kenneth got excited. With so much support, he had nothing to worry about. Plus, this could leave a good impression on these spectators, drawing them to his casino in the future. Gambling was gambling, whether in a casino or a boxing ring.

Kenneth picked five strong-looking spectators. "My five guys, plus these five spectators, will fight together! No problem, right?"

George nodded. "No problem! But we need to clarify, in case of injuries or worse, the responsibility..."

Kenneth, puffing on a cigar, patted his chest. "Don't worry, I'll take full responsibility for my participants! It has nothing to do with you or Ronald!"

Ronald quickly agreed. "Deal!"

He took out a walkie-talkie and gave orders to the host. The host, with a microphone in hand, announced, "Ladies and gentlemen, we have an additional match: Rex versus ten people! All ten participants, please proceed to the locker room to prepare and make your way to the ring immediately!"

The ten participants jogged to the locker room to change. Three minutes later, they were back, lined up to enter the ring, each showing off their muscles or shouting for cheers, even though none had fought in the ring before.

The atmosphere crackled with anticipation. The crowd was electrified, their excitement palpable as they imagined the spectacle of ten versus one.

In the ring, the ten challengers circled around Rex, trapping him in the middle. Leading the pack was Daniel. He was initially scared of Rex, but with nine others backing him up, he felt confident.

Daniel struck a Bruce Lee pose and taunted Rex, "Remember me? If I don't make you beg for mercy today, I'll change my name!"

The others laughed and jeered.

"You just beat that phony Jeffrey and think you're tough?"

"Think you're Tyson?"

"With that dumb face, I could knock you out with one punch!"

Rex ignored the taunts. He raised his fists, got into a fighting stance, and steadied his legs, ready to go. It was a basic move he learned from a Sanda coach recently.

"I announce! The match begins!" the host shouted.

Daniel yelled, "Brothers, charge! Mr. Davis said there's a reward for whoever knocks Rex down first!"

Two guys rushed at Rex, swinging their fists. But before they got close, Rex lifted his right leg and delivered a side kick. Both men were sent flying, crashing into the cage and falling unconscious.

The remaining eight were stunned. Before they could react, Rex launched an attack. In a flash, he was in front of the nearest guy and punched him in the stomach. The man fell, clutching his stomach.

Rex didn't stop. He moved to the next person, attacking like a tiger among sheep. It was a massacre. No one could withstand even one move from Rex. They all fell with one hit.

Daniel took a punch square to the face and was knocked out instantly, blood streaming from his nose and mouth. With Daniel down, all ten opponents were defeated. The whole thing took less than a minute.

A heavy silence fell over the arena, so profound that the softest sound seemed magnified.

The contrast between the previous match's raucous cheers and the current stillness was stark. Rex’s performance defied belief, more surreal than any dream.

Ryder was the first to break the silence, rising to his feet and clapping vigorously. His applause snapped the crowd out of their daze.

Soon, the entire arena erupted in applause—genuine, unreserved admiration. There were no dissenting voices, no murmurs of discontent, only the thunderous applause for a display of unparalleled strength.
