Sarah rejected Barbara Campbell's offer. "Sorry! My husband is a good person and I have no intention of finding a foreign boyfriend."
Abigail sneered and muttered, "Ha! It's hard to understand what’s so good about Ryder. He’s such a useless person!"
Sarah calmly replied, "I don't need you to interfere in my affairs. Didn't you say you would accompany me to this dinner? Lead the way!"
"Hmph! Let's see how long you can keep up the act!" Abigail complained with dissatisfaction and took the lead.
Sarah and Barbara Campbell walked shoulder to shoulder into The Pint House.
Along the way, Barbara Campbell expressed her admiration. "Sarah, it's been so many years, and you still look as beautiful as I remember. I heard you’re running a multi-billion-dollar company now. I wonder why someone as outstanding as you chose a worthless man. If I were in the country at that time, I would never have agreed to your marriage with him!"
Sighing helplessly, Sarah explained, "I’ve said before that Ryder is truly outstanding. Don't listen to what other people say about him."

As they stepped into the room, Sarah Johnson saw a group of familiar faces.

Matthew glanced at Grandma Johnson next to him and then theatrically slapped the table, scolding, "Sarah Johnson! How dare you! She’s your grandmother, don't you understand the value of respecting your elders? I command you to apologize to your grandmother!"
Sarah's eyes flickered with disgust as she calmly replied, "If this is the kind of conversation I’ll be having with you all today, then I'm sorry, but I cannot stay. Goodbye!"
As Sarah was about to turn and leave, someone suddenly entered through the door, blocking her path.
The person who had entered was Sandra.
She was wearing expensive clothes, and opened her arms to give Sarah a big hug, saying with a smile, "My dear niece, why are you in such a hurry? I finally came back from abroad and wanted to treat you to a meal. You should at least do that."
"Auntie? You're back?" Sarah was surprised.
She had thought that Barbara Campbell was the only one who had returned from abroad. She hadn’t expected Sandra to be back too.
Sarah had been a little afraid of Sandra Johnson since childhood.
She had always seen her hanging out with questionable people.
So, aunt and niece had not frequently interacted, and their family relationship was just average.

So when Sandra said that, Sarah couldn't refuse.
She reluctantly nodded. "Okay."
"That's more like it!" Sandra happily held Sarah's hand and walked straight to the main seat, asking her to sit next to her.

"Why are you being so shy? Sit when I tell you to sit!" Sandra interrupted.
Sarah had no choice but to sit down.
Sandra held Sarah's hand and carefully examined her appearance, sighing with admiration. "You truly are my niece. Your looks and figure are unparalleled. I heard someone outside say that you’re the most beautiful woman in Houston, and from what I see, it's well-deserved!"
Sarah was surprised by this praise.
On the other hand, Abigail, who was sitting across from them, rolled her eyes unhappily.
Sandra took a jade bracelet out of her Gucci handbag and handed it to Sarah with a smile. "Sarah, this is a gift from me. I bought it from Myanmar last month. It's worth over a million dollars, but it's nothing to me. Just wear it!"
Sarah quickly refused. "Aunt, this gift is too valuable! I can't afford it. You should keep it for yourself."
Sandra put on a serious face and said, "Don’t be so formal, Sarah! I am your aunt, we have blood ties. Besides, I couldn't attend your wedding back then, so I feel guilty. It's only right for me to give you a jade bracelet now!"

Sandra continued, "Just accept it. Don't make me angry right after I returned to the country!"
