Chapter 623 Tyler's Faith Collapses!
Constantine shot Ryder a curious glance, wondering what kind of video he was about to play.
He figured it couldn't be worse than the one with Lester in it, so he stayed calm and didn't stop Ryder.
Ryder, unfazed, hit play on the next video. The screen showed a dark, nighttime scene. The main character? A naked guy kneeling—Tyler, the eldest son of the Young family.
He was shaking like a leaf, his pale skin trembling with fear.
"Lord Death, the real culprit behind the Rigal Sports Complex arson is my dad, Constantine! He's the mastermind!" Tyler's voice quivered as he spoke.
Everyone watching was puzzled. Why was Tyler talking about Death? And did he just throw Constantine under the bus with one sentence? The room buzzed with shock, but the real bombshell was yet to drop.
"Keep talking," the Lord Death—Ryder—in the video said, cool as a cucumber.
Tyler, scared out of his mind, spilled everything. "Lester didn't set the Rigal Sports Complex on fire; he didn't have the guts. It was my dad—no, Constantine. He's not my dad anymore. He ordered it."
Tyler, thinking he was already a ghost, distanced himself from Constantine. "Lord Death, I have no ties to Constantine now. If you want someone, take him."
Lord Death kept his composure, pushing for more details. "That depends on your attitude towards confession. Keep talking, be specific."
Tyler continued, "Even though Constantine seemed to get along with Lester, he would curse him to die early at home every time."
"When I asked about it, he told me to mind my own business or he'd beat me. They were partners in a company, but Lester hated Constantine's work style. Their disagreements kept growing. Eventually, Constantine decided to get rid of Lester."
Brandon, playing Death's follower, chimed in coldly, "What did he do that was too much? Be specific! If you don't confess everything, you can't atone for your sins."
"Yes, yes, here's how it went down," Tyler said, spilling the beans on all the murders Constantine was involved in, both before and after the arson.
Some deaths looked like accidents, some bodies were never found, but it was all Constantine's doing.
Plus, the Young family was running a secret casino, which was a big part of their income.
"Lending money at high interest rates in the casino was bad enough, but if the debt couldn't be collected, the debtor's family was ruined. Some were even forced to hand over their kids, who were then abused and sold to poor countries as breeding tools."
Everyone was speechless after hearing this!
Constantine was completely stunned. But this was just the tip of the iceberg.
The video kept rolling, and Tyler continued to spill the beans on Constantine's crimes, including the Young Group's tax evasion and more.
Constantine watched, feeling helpless. He wanted to stop it, but that would be like admitting he did all those things. He was furious at Tyler, gritting his teeth and glaring at him.
Meanwhile, in the video, Tyler was kowtowing to Lord Death, muttering, "Death has manifested. Death has manifested."
Seeing this, Constantine lost it. His heart disease almost flared up, and he shouted, "Tyler, what are you doing? Look at the so-called Death in the video! It's clearly Ryder and his people playing a prank on you!"
He grabbed Tyler's hair, forcing him to watch the video. But Tyler's eyes were dazed. He didn't believe a word his father said. To him, Death was real, sacred, and inviolable.
In the video, Tyler kept confessing Constantine's crimes, focusing on the Rigal Sports Complex arson case from three years ago. "The fire at Rigal Sports Complex was orchestrated by Constantine! Later, he pinned it all on Lester!"
Tyler recalled, "With both witnesses and evidence, Lester was sentenced to life imprisonment. Feeling guilty, Constantine forced me to find a way to kill Lester in prison."
"So, I bribed the prison staff to add slow-acting poison to Lester's food, bit by bit, killing him in prison. That's why the news of Lester's death in prison due to depression came out later!"
"Is there anything else to confess? If you miss anything, you'll go to hell," Lord Death said coldly.
"I've said everything I know, I guarantee there's no concealment," Tyler quickly kowtowed.
"Very well, your life is not over yet. You can go back alive," Lord Death said indifferently.
"Thank you, Lord Death!" Tyler kowtowed again. Suddenly, a stick hit his neck, and he fell to the ground, unconscious.
The lights came on, and everyone took off their masks. The group of Death was revealed to be Ryder, Brandon, and others.
Without a doubt, everything was clear—the Young family father and son were truly sinful.
The video ended there. Ryder included the latter part to provide evidence to the police later, explaining the specific situation.
However, when Tyler saw this part, he was completely stunned. Who could tell him what happened? Why was Lord Death Ryder? Why?
At that moment, Tyler felt his faith collapse.
Not only Tyler, but the guests who saw the video were also stunned.
If the video was real, then the actions of the Young family father and son were simply intolerable!
