Chapter 324 Three-Person Tag Team Battle!

George was a bit taken aback. He frowned and said, "Ronald, what's this about drawing lots for the match format and rules? Never heard of it before!"

Ronald smiled, "George, don't worry. This drawing lots thing is new this year, so it's normal you don't know. It's simple: the challenged party draws lots to decide the match format and rules. It could be one-on-one, tag team, or a multi-person brawl. But two things are constant: the fighting rules stay the same, and the drawing process is fair and transparent."

George was surprised. He came to compete because he was experienced and confident. But now, with new rules, things were unpredictable. What to do? Forfeit or...

He glanced at Ryder, who subtly nodded. George sighed in relief and said to Ronald, "Since it's a new rule, I'll follow it. Let's get it started!"

"Great!" Ronald beamed and turned to Kenneth, "Kenneth, any objections?"

Kenneth replied confidently, "None!"

A beautiful woman walked over with a small box. She handed it to George and said, "Please draw a lot!"

George pulled out a card. Ronald opened it and announced, "Tonight's match will be a three-person tag team battle!"

The audience erupted in excited chatter.

"Oh my! A three-person tag team battle. My favorite!"

"What are the rules? This is my first time here!"

"It's simple. Each side sends out three people, taking turns fighting one-on-one. The losing side sends out their next person. The side that gets all their people eliminated loses!"

"Sounds exciting and unpredictable! Cool!"

George and Ryder heard the detailed rules. They had to admit that this format was more interesting than a regular duel.

Ronald smiled and asked George, "George, you'll need to find two more teammates! But I know you're strong enough to handle even a one-on-three!"

George replied calmly, "Ronald, you're flattering me!"

Ronald continued, "Before we start, there's one last thing: both sides must agree on a private bet! The bet must be at least twice the challenge fee, over two million dollars. Both sides must agree on the stakes. You can propose industries or territories as long as both parties agree."

Kenneth smirked and said, "George, I'm interested in your Polka Bar. Do you have the guts to bet it?"

Kenneth's casual remark sent chills down everyone's spine. Polka Bar was the top bar in Houston, worth at least thirty million dollars! It was the go-to spot for Houston's elite, making it a prime networking hub. For George, it was his lifeline. Kenneth asking him to bet it was bold, to say the least.

George narrowed his eyes and smiled faintly, "And what might Mr. Davis be willing to put up?"

Kenneth took a deep breath, "Kenneth Vacation Villa, how about that?"

The crowd erupted.

"Is he serious? Betting his vacation villa?"

"Kenneth Vacation Villa is the Davis family's largest property aside from Radiant Revive Spa. It's the biggest vacation villa in Houston, just built last year. Its valuation is probably much higher than Polka Bar!"

"I don't get the rich. Why such a huge bet?"

"Anyone would think Kenneth and George have a deep grudge! But they barely know each other!"

Ryder, observing everything, realized Kenneth's push for this match was aimed at him through George. George was his key subordinate, controlling a lot of territory and connections. If George got into trouble, Ryder would be affected. Kenneth was clearly targeting Ryder, likely due to Sandra.

Ronald asked, "Both of you have proposed your stakes. Do you both agree?"

George stayed calm, "I have no problem with it."

Kenneth replied, "I agree."

"Great!" Ronald beamed, handing over a betting agreement contract. George and Kenneth signed and stamped their fingerprints, making it official.

Ronald checked his watch, "Perfect timing. Let's not waste any more time. Both sides, get ready. The match is about to start!"

Kenneth nodded and was about to leave when George called out, "Mr. Davis, I have a question."

Kenneth turned back. "What is it?"

George asked, "What exactly do you see in Polka Bar?"

Kenneth snorted, "Honestly, I have no interest in your Polka Bar. If you really want to know, it's simple: taking you and the person behind you down will make me very happy. That's all."

He swaggered away, leaving George's subordinates fuming.

"Fuck! What a pretentious prick! Just because his family is powerful, he thinks he's a big shot!"

"George, come on! Beat the crap out of them and show him who's the boss!"

"By the way, George, we still need two more people for the match. Got anyone in mind?"
