Chapter 1007 Held in Her Arms
"Sis, you're practically scolding me," Kevin said with a cheeky grin. "We've been neighbors for so many years; whenever my mom was busy, I’d eat at your place. Whenever bullies picked on me, you always stood up for me. To me, you're like a real sister, and your mom is like my own. How could I ever accept money from you?"
"Kevin, is that truly how you feel?" Doris looked at Kevin, taken aback. Over the years, she had often teased him, and he had always taken it in stride, never retaliating or complaining to his mother. Seeing Kevin's sincere smile, her eyes misted up, and an overwhelming guilt washed over her. Unable to hold back, she pulled the tall young man into her arms, saying with a choked voice, "I've been too hard on you in the past. From now on, I won't bully you anymore. You're my little brother."
Kevin's face was pressed into Doris's soft chest, inhaling the fresh, youthful scent of her body. Feeling the intoxicating warmth, he struggled to speak, "Sis, if you don’t let go, your little brother is going to suffocate."
Laura, Lucy, and Fiona were just beginning to blossom, youthful and tender like budding flowers, untouchable. In contrast, Natalie, Vanessa, and Audrey were mature and voluptuous, akin to ripe autumn fruits, rich and full of flavor. Doris, however, fell somewhere in between; just shedding her girlhood's immaturity but not fully ripe, like a crisp, tart green apple, each bite leaving a lingering sweetness on the lips.
Realizing the intimacy of her actions, Doris noticed the warmth of Kevin's breath seeping through her clothes, sending a shiver through her chest. Flustered, she pushed him away, giving him a mock glare, her face flushed with embarrassment. "You rascal, taking advantage of me like that. Just this once, as a reward for helping me so much. Don’t let it go to your head," she said, grabbing the thermal box and hurrying out.
Kevin chuckled, inhaling deeply to catch the lingering scent of Doris's youthful aroma. Yet, his thoughts toward this neighbor's sister were pure. He wasn't a desperate pig, pouncing on any woman in sight; even rabbits don’t eat the grass near their burrow.
Before, as a virgin, he yearned for more women, but now, his many women seemed more burdensome. Alissa, Grace, and Evelyn were insatiable middle-aged women, each hungrier than the last, and they exhausted him to the brink. Then there's Vanessa and Natalie, a devilish combo, effortlessly seducing him nightly and nearly draining him dry. Not to mention his cousin Audrey, whose ample 36G breasts were irresistibly alluring. Without Audrey’s restraint for his well-being, Kevin would willingly embrace her every night, exhausting himself to the point of collapse.
After being away for two days, Kevin couldn’t help but miss his cousin. He reached for his phone to call her. The moment she answered, she seemed breathless, as if exerting herself, causing Kevin to worry. Previously, during their intimate moments, if Jason called, Audrey would answer similarly, breathless from their passion. He joked about it then, but now, feeling similarly uncertain, it wasn’t amusing at all.
"Sis, what are you doing?" Kevin asked, his voice tinged with jealousy. He trusted Audrey but couldn’t help but worry, given the distance and her return home, where familiar faces might reignite old flames.
"Nothing much… just climbing a mountain… so tired," Audrey panted, her words coming in disjointed gasps. "Kevin, what’s the matter?"
Despite her explanation, Kevin’s mind conjured vivid, indecent images of Audrey naked, her voluptuous body glistening with sweat, her movements synchronous with an imagined partner’s thrusts. His heart pounded, consumed with jealousy.
"Damn it!" Kevin felt like his heart was being clawed at by countless rabbits. He couldn’t dismiss his worries without confirming. Otherwise, he knew he wouldn't sleep a wink.
"Sis, I miss you. Can we video chat?" Kevin suggested slyly, hoping this would ease his mind.
"Oh, no, my phone's almost dead," Audrey replied, grumbling. "I'll call you back later tonight," and with that, she hung up.
Kevin sat there dumbfounded. Could it be true? He couldn’t believe it. If Audrey was unfaithful, surely she wouldn’t risk answering his call mid-affair. After all, she could have easily ignored it.
No, Kevin thought, shaking his head vehemently. Audrey wasn’t like that. If she were, she wouldn't have evaded Oliver's advances back in school, or escaped Quentin's clutches. And she certainly wouldn’t have resisted Kevin for months before caving in. Two days wouldn’t change her that drastically.
Breathing deeply, Kevin calmed himself, realizing his paranoia was likely unfounded. Audrey’s breathless voice was simply too distracting. Besides, he remembered how her moans during their lovemaking drove him wild with desire, fueling his stamina like a warrior blessed by a priest. Okay, enough. I should get back to my homework, he thought, heading to his room. Remembering the photos he'd taken of Natalie, he worried Audrey might see them on his phone. Not wanting to delete them, he transferred them to his computer, saving them under the "English Materials" folder—a place he knew she’d never think to check.
