Chapter 591 "Chase's Bad Luck"

In the bedroom, Grace lay on the bed but couldn't fall asleep. She tossed and turned, feeling restless. She knew she had been a bit harsh on Andy today, but she also realized that if she continued to indulge her son, things would only get more difficult in the future. That's why she had to be tough and put an end to her son's desires.

She even regretted the impulsive act of helping father-in-law Wayne masturbate that night, which had needlessly caused a lot of trouble. Although she had been consciously avoiding father-in-law these days, she still felt uneasy. She knew she had to find a solution for father-in-law to address his issues; things couldn't go on like this.

As for Chase, there seemed to be no movement from his side. Grace wondered what he was up to. She believed Chase wouldn't give up easily and would continue to entangle her. She had made up her mind not to make any deals or compromises with him, even if it meant causing a huge uproar. She couldn't lower herself to be with someone like Chase, who was not worthy of her trust. Once bitten, twice shy.

Regarding Kevin, Grace felt conflicted. She knew she shouldn't be too close to Kevin, but her body craved him intensely. The last time they had a passionate encounter in the storeroom of a clothing store, Grace had been immersed in ecstasy for days, making even intimacy with her husband seem dull.

Thinking about the sensation of Kevin's large manhood rubbing against her, Grace felt weak in the knees. Her lower body felt tingly and itchy. She regretted letting Kevin leave, but with her husband and son at home, she couldn't risk it.

Grace's fingers gently massaged the base of her thigh, a seductive blush appearing on her beautiful and sexy face. Her breathing became rapid as she cupped her perky breasts, her eyes seductive. Her long and shapely thighs kept moving, clearly showing signs of arousal.

Just as Grace was feeling insatiable, her phone suddenly beeped. She picked up the phone and her expression changed. It was a text message from Chase.

"Grace, open the door, I'm outside your house."

Reading the message, Grace was surprised. Why would Chase suddenly show up at her doorstep? She hurriedly got up from the bed, put on a sports jacket, and hesitated before opening the door. Instead, she called Chase and asked sternly, "Chase, what are you up to?"

"Hehe, Grace, isn't today a holiday? I bought something and wanted to see you. Open the door, don't let the neighbors see," Chase chuckled over the phone.

"No need, just go back," Grace said firmly. "Chase, we have no relationship. Give up on me. I won't have anything to do with you."

"Do you have to be so final?" Chase said ominously. "Aren't you afraid I'll tell everyone about that night with the stranger?"

"Go ahead," Grace retorted. "You have no evidence. Let's see if my husband believes you or me. Don't push me, Chase. I can always say you tried to rape me. Let's see how Byron deals with you."

"Why make things so tense?" Chase tried to reason. Seeing Grace unmoved, he hesitated. He didn't dare to talk to Byron. Although Byron was weak, he always listened to his wife. If Grace spoke up, he would be in trouble. "Just open the door, I have something to tell you."

"No one's home, tell me tomorrow at school," Grace decided not to open the door. She knew that if she did, Chase might take advantage of the situation.

"I really need to talk to you," Chase insisted. "I've found out who attacked me with a brick that night at the playground. You wouldn't want me to call the police, would you?"

Grace's heart sank. Did Chase find out it was Kevin? After a moment of hesitation, she walked to the door and opened it. She saw Chase standing there, smiling at her. "Grace, you finally opened the door. We go way back. You're being too cold."

"Nonsense, we have no history," Grace said sternly. "Speak up if you have something to say."

Chase walked into the living room and sat on the sofa, smiling. "Grace, it's scorching hot outside. I came all this way. At least let me rest a bit." He noticed a glass of water on the coffee table, picked it up, and drank most of it without hesitation. The water tasted sweet. "Grace, you still care about me. You made me honey water in advance. Remember when we were dating, you loved chocolate, and I used to buy you chocolates often. Time flies, it's been almost twenty years."

"Chase, let's not bring up the past," Grace said coldly. "If you have nothing important to say, leave now. You're not welcome here."
