Chapter 1341
"Kevin, can you hand me that spoon?" Daisy turned around to find Kevin staring intently at her rear, a noticeable bulge in his pants. She chuckled. "Someone's eager. Hold your horses, cowboy. We'll have plenty of time for that after dinner."
Kevin felt a thrill shoot through him.
During dinner, Daisy kept piling food onto Kevin's plate. "High school is stressful," she said. "You need to eat to keep your strength up."
Laura frowned. "Mom, Kevin can serve himself."
"Someone's jealous," Daisy said, shaking her head playfully, but she still gave Laura an extra helping of roast beef, and then added another piece to Kevin's plate.
After dinner, Daisy gave Kevin a knowing look. He offered to do the dishes. Laura giggled. "Looks like dish duty is yours from now on, Kevin. I'm going to practice piano. See ya!"
As soon as Laura disappeared into her room, Daisy pulled Kevin into the bedroom. Seeing his obvious erection, she smiled seductively. "Someone's been excited all evening, haven't they?"
Kevin chuckled awkwardly.
"I hear you and Laura are deskmates now. That's great! You can keep each other on track. Maybe you'll even end up at the same college."
"Uh-huh."
"By the way, they're calling for rain the next few days. Make sure you take an umbrella and change out of your wet clothes right away. Don't want you catching a cold."
"Uh-huh."
"Your mom's out of town, and your cousin's busy being a homeroom teacher, so she can't really look after you. If you need anything at all, just let me know. Don't be shy."
"Uh-huh."
"Once you and Laura are off to college, my job's done. I can finally focus on myself again. Time flies, doesn't it? I used to feel so young, and now you two are practically grown up. It's scary how fast it all goes."
"Uh-huh." Kevin nodded absently.
Daisy laughed. "Is 'uh-huh' all you can say? Is that how you talk to your mother?"
"No," Kevin mumbled, shaking his head. Daisy's nearness was making it hard to think straight.
"That's better. Just treat me like your mom. Tell me anything that's on your mind. Don't hold back. If it's something I can help with, I will."
Kevin felt a pang of guilt. She really did treat him like family.
"Daisy, you're so good to me. I… I…" he stammered.
Seeing his hesitation, Daisy frowned. Suddenly, a thought occurred to her, and her heart skipped a beat. Her face flushed, and she felt a twitch between her legs. It had been a long time, and she was… lonely. But Kevin was her daughter's boyfriend. That was a line she couldn't cross.
"Kevin, just tell me," she said softly. She wanted to understand him better, to help navigate any future bumps in the road with Laura.
"Daisy, I… I want to see you… naked again," Kevin blurted out, finally finding his voice. He desperately wanted to have sex with her, but he couldn't bring himself to say it. If he really saw her as a mother figure… it felt wrong.
"Oh, honey, is that all?" Daisy smiled, relieved that his request was so… simple. Anything but that, she could handle. Showing him her body… that was nothing.
Looking at Daisy's lush curves, Kevin's heart pounded. He instinctively reached out to touch her breasts, but stopped himself, a wave of guilt washing over him. This was Laura's mother. He pulled his hand back, trying to control himself.
Seeing his conflicted expression, Daisy felt a surge of maternal tenderness. She sat beside him and gently took his hand, placing it on her breast. "It's okay, sweetie. Touch me. I won't be mad."
With her permission, Kevin began to explore. He thought of the mountains he'd seen on his travels, those towering peaks that beckoned to be climbed. Touching Daisy's breasts was like scaling one of those majestic mountains. But this was no ordinary mountain, accessible to all. This peak was immense, awe-inspiring, a conquest. This world, too, was wondrous, begging to be explored. Everything felt new and exciting.
But mountains were deceptive. Some looked tall but were easy to climb. Others looked small but were treacherous. Without experience, it was hard to tell the difference. Most men never got the chance to climb many mountains. They only climbed hills. But Kevin… he'd climbed many. He could tell the difference. He was lucky, he knew that. Lucky to have climbed this one.
This mountain was the most wonderful, the most magical he'd ever known. The soil was soft, the air fragrant, the land fertile. Every plant, every tree, was new, enticing. He savored the climb, the view from the top, the feeling of reaching the edge of the world. It was like heaven.
