Chapter 1423

"Alright." Maddy walked a few steps before turning back, looking at Kevin with a hint of sadness. "Kevin, are you bothered by my thing with Toby? Honestly, it only happened a few times, and he always initiated it. To be frank, his cock doesn’t compare to yours, and he was in premature ejaculation. I only went along with it because I needed a favor from his family. I won’t be seeing him again if that makes you feel better."

"Ms. Nguyen, the thing is not what you think. I'm just a student, not even attending Maple Grove High anymore. You don’t need to consider my feelings when making your decisions. " Kevin replied, not buying Maddy’s promises for a second. He knew she wasn’t the reliable type. She was fun to play with, but getting attached would only lead to trouble, just like what happened with Toby. Maddy was a lot like Vanessa in that way; the difference being Maddy sought pleasure, while Vanessa had bigger ambitions, using sex as a mere stepping stone.

Seeing Kevin was unmoved, Maddy pouted and walked away, her perfectly rounded hips swaying with every step. Watching her, Kevin felt a surge of desire in his heart. She was undeniably skilled in bed, nearly on par with Vanessa, and with women like her, there were no limits. Maddy was in it for the cock, and as long as he could satisfy her, there were no strings attached.

Kevin had his own reasons for keeping things going with Maddy. Deep down, he still had a soft spot for Jillie, who happened to be Maddy's colleague. Through Maddy, he might catch wind of how Jillie was doing. He couldn't help but wonder if Jillie was still sore down there.

Last night, she could barely walk straight by the end. If her husband wanted to get intimate tonight, what kind of excuse could she possibly come up with? Maybe she’d say she got stung by a bee while strolling in the Skyview City hotel garden. Funny enough, Kevin had actually gotten bit by a few mosquitoes himself during their romp, the welts still itching. Jillie's tender, soft ass must have gotten bitten too; perhaps her husband would buy her excuse if he saw the marks.

While pondering how Jillie might deceive her suspicious husband, Kevin noticed Audrey approaching after her phone call. Her striking beauty, tall figure, graceful curves, long legs, and those two voluptuous breasts had him mesmerized. The mere thought that such a stunning, sexy woman was entirely his to command and fondle filled him with pride.

He let out a loud, playful whistle and gave her a lecherous look, grinning wickedly, "Hey there, gorgeous. Where are you headed? How about making a new friend?"

Seeing Kevin’s cheeky street-thug demeanor, Audrey couldn't help but burst into a charming laugh, rolling her eyes at him with an air of playful sophistication. "Sorry, I already have a boyfriend," she said, feigning modesty.

"Boyfriend?" Kevin scoffed, clearly not convinced. "Let him step up right now. I want to see who’s tougher. I bet I can take him."

Audrey stifled her laughter and replied with mock seriousness, "You really wouldn’t measure up, honestly. I don’t want your ego bruised."

"I don’t believe it," Kevin retorted. "What’s so special about him, anyway?"

"I have a lot to list." Audrey said, counting on her fingers. "Firstly, he's utterly shameless. Secondly, he’s such a braggart that he believes his own hype. Lastly, he's blind as a bat and doesn’t see a thing."

"How am I blind?" Kevin grumbled, accepting the shamelessness and bragging, but refusing to believe he was blind.

"If he wasn’t blind, how could he be chatting up another woman right in front of his girlfriend, and for so long?" Audrey huffed lightly. "He’s a total blind fool."

Kevin felt his face heat up, realizing Audrey had seen him chatting with Maddy earlier. He cleared his throat, rushing to explain, "Audrey, Ms. Nguyen was just asking how I made it to the top eight in the essay contest. She wanted some tips to share with her students. That’s all."

"Really?" Audrey's eyes locked onto Kevin’s face, as if trying to discern any signs of deceit.

For a moment, Kevin genuinely felt nervous. He’d been too careless, thinking Audrey would be too preoccupied with her phone call to notice. Little did he know, she had been watching him the whole time. He began to worry if Audrey had picked up on any of his recent shenanigans.

Even though his conversation with Maddy had been innocent enough, Maddy's seductive expressions and demeanor suggested otherwise. His excuse seemed flimsy now, but it was too late to backpedal.

"Alright, I’ll take your word for it," Audrey suddenly offered a faint smile, her tone teasing. "Isn’t that right, sweetie?"

"Yeah." Kevin quickly responded, though he felt a bit uneasy inside. He had the distinct impression that Audrey was subtly warning him, especially considering his history in her eyes.

Kevin recalled the time when he had just started to develop feelings for Audrey. He had gotten carried away and ended up making love to Evelyn on Albert’s balcony, only to be discovered by Audrey, who was just a wall away. This nearly caused a fallout between them, and they experienced a brief cold war before making up again. The incident was never mentioned afterward, but it left an awkward shadow. Audrey probably feared he might repeat the same mistake, hence her subtle reminder.

In reality, Kevin was feeling guilty. Audrey hadn’t suspected anything between Kevin and Maddy. She remembered how Maddy had staunchly defended Toby when Kevin had a spat with him. Audrey had her suspicions about the flirtatious Maddy and her tutoring student, possibly due to a woman’s intuition, or perhaps because her relationship with Kevin had also started with a forbidden student-teacher dynamic. She was particularly sensitive to and aware of such relationships.

Audrey had been covertly observing ever since. Maddy hid her feelings well, showing no signs of unusual behavior after the first night when she defended Toby. However, Toby, being a young boy, couldn’t conceal his emotions. The ardent, infatuated look he gave Maddy was identical to the way Kevin used to look at her, which almost melted her heart.

However, Audrey couldn't determine whether Toby and Maddy’s relationship was merely flirtatious or if it had already crossed physical boundaries. The time they had spent together was too short to make such a judgment. Most of their time had been consumed by the competition or her intimate moments with Kevin, which, ironically, seemed to occupy more time than the competition itself. Audrey felt their trip to Skyview City was more about indulging in uninterrupted intimacy than participating in the contest.

This trip held significant meaning for her relationship with Kevin. She had finally fulfilled her promise to him by engaging in anal intercourse. Although the experience was not entirely smooth and had even caused her some physical discomfort—her anus still ached slightly—it symbolized her complete surrender of her body to Kevin. There were no longer any forbidden territories, and from a psychological perspective, she had wholly relinquished any lingering sentiments for her husband, abandoning all illusions she once held.

Of course, this did not mean she had chosen Kevin. After all, Kevin was still a high school student, and their relationship as cousins was an even more persistent and challenging taboo than their former teacher-student dynamic. These dual taboos made it impossible for her to truly choose Kevin. Nonetheless, it allowed her to interact with him in a more relaxed and natural manner.

In the ensuing two years, like Alissa, she intended to soothe Kevin's intense desires with her body and emotions, helping him navigate this unique period and fulfilling her promise to Bethany. Once Kevin left Harmony County, she could reassess her marriage to her husband free from external influences and determine whether to continue their relationship. As long as Kevin remained, she would be unable to think rationally about this matter, her thoughts tangled in an inextricable mess.

With this realization, Audrey stopped scrutinizing Kevin so harshly and guarding against him constantly. She understood that she could not shield him entirely from external temptations. Kevin needed to learn to resist these temptations on his own, especially as he was bound to face even more once he entered college, where she couldn't always be by his side.

Moreover, Kevin himself was growing increasingly rational and mature. His stable performance in the essay competition earned him a spot in the top eight, proving his ability to control himself. Audrey naturally began to let go, striving to interact with him as an equal partner rather than solely as a teacher or cousin. Maintaining only those roles would keep their relationship imbalanced and unsustainable in the long run.

Earlier, when Audrey saw Kevin chatting with Maddy, looking flirtatious, she did feel a bit jealous. If it were before, she would have gone over and stopped it, just like she did with Vanessa. But now, she wouldn't do that. Kevin had the right to interact with any woman, and she couldn't restrict him, just as she had the right to interact with other men, and Kevin couldn't oppose it. If she showed dissatisfaction, it would prove that Kevin's previous sulking over Oliver was justified.

A healthy, sustainable relationship requires not only a stable, high-quality sex life but also mutual respect and trust.
