Chapter 1806
Audrey had no clue that Austin was sitting in his car, up to no good. She fiddled with the silver bracelet on her wrist, thinking about Chad's endless affection for her. Her heart was a tangled mess of emotions. She dreaded the thought of divorcing Jason and how disappointed Chad would be.
But was there any point in saving this marriage? She used to believe that if Jason just came back to Harmony County, everything would be fine. Now, both of them had strayed emotionally and physically. Sharing a bed felt like a hollow act, each dreaming their dreams.
She had even started to resist being intimate with her husband. Part of it was due to Kevin's demands, but mostly it was her disgust. This disgust wasn't just directed at Jason, but at herself as well. She hated this relationship filled with mutual suspicion.
"Whatever, I'll just take it one step at a time," Audrey sighed softly. She glanced at the time, feeling a bit anxious. She had no idea why, but there hadn't been a single car heading to town today. If she waited any longer, she might miss the last bus.
She didn't want to spend the night at Chad's place. She just wanted to get home as quickly as possible. After all, someone was waiting for her there. Thinking of Kevin made her heart warm. No matter what, Kevin was her only emotional support right now, not to mention the immense physical satisfaction he provided. She couldn't do without this love-hate relationship.
Seeing Austin's car still parked not far away, Audrey hesitated about whether to ask him for a ride. She had already turned him down earlier and didn't want to go back on that. She thought that if worst came to worst, she could just spend the night at Chad's.
Austin noticed Audrey looking around and knew the time was right. He quickly tucked himself back into his pants and drove up to her. "Audrey, hop in. It's getting dark, and you don't need to be so polite with me," he said with a smile.
Audrey remained silent. She didn't want to get into Austin's car; something was unsettling about his smile.
Austin cursed inwardly. Audrey was really hard to deal with. He regretted rushing to get intimate with Caroline earlier, which had made Audrey wary of him. But the more difficult she was, the more he wanted to conquer her. The thrill of conquering a reserved woman was much greater than one who was easy.
"Alright, I'm leaving then," Austin said, not wanting to push too hard and make her even more cautious. He slowly drove away, thinking that if Audrey stayed the night, he would still have time to make his move. No woman could resist a man's persistent pursuit forever.
He had driven a few dozen yards when he heard Audrey's voice behind him.
"Wait a minute." Austin's heart leaped with joy. He quickly hit the brakes and watched as Audrey walked over, her face flushed. "Could you give me a ride to the county?" She asked.
"Sure," Austin said, barely able to contain his excitement. The fish had finally taken the bait. He got out of the car, opened the trunk for her to put her bag in, then opened the back door for her.
After she got in, he closed the door and got back into the driver's seat. His hands were shaking so much that it took him a while to start the car. The black SUV roared to life and drove away from the village, leaving a trail of dust. The sun was setting, and the land was falling into twilight.
At the entrance of Cloudwater Haven, Kevin walked out, rubbing his back. His legs felt like they were filled with lead. He had spent the entire day with Daisy, most of it watching her perform. They had only actually made love for two or three hours.
"That was amazing," Kevin thought, recalling the scene of Daisy's voluptuous body as he took her from behind. He felt incredibly proud. He had finally claimed Daisy's body completely, even her previously untouched anus.
Daisy had chosen a great spot for their affair. They no longer had to worry about being interrupted. He wished they had come here sooner. He still felt a bit anxious about the time Willow had cornered him in the building. If Daisy hadn't left early, he might have been caught.
Even so, he was still worried that Willow might use this secret to blackmail him. But Kevin had his limits. If Willow tried anything, he would expose their affair. The scandal of the County Treasurer's wife sleeping with a high school student wouldn't be good for her either.
Of course, Kevin didn't want things to get that far. Willow had only tried to rope him in because of his connection to Maurice. She was too smart to let something like this ruin their relationship completely.
It was almost six o'clock when Kevin called Audrey. She picked up quickly. "Hey, Audrey, are you back yet?" He asked.
"Not yet. I just got in the car. It'll take about an hour and a half," Audrey replied. "What have you been up to today?"
"I've been doing my homework, like you asked. I also cleaned the room and mopped the floor. Just waiting for you to come back and check. By the way, what do you want for dinner? I'll cook tonight."
Kevin felt a bit guilty after his affair with Daisy and wanted to make up for it.
"Sure, I'd love some pizza and fried chicken," Audrey said with a laugh. "You should practice your cooking skills. When Bethany comes back, you can surprise her."
"Got it, no problem. I'll head to the market now," Kevin said, hanging up and heading straight to the market.
Audrey held her phone, feeling a warm sense of happiness. The corners of her mouth lifted into a smile. The greatest happiness was being cared for by someone. Thinking of Kevin in an apron, cooking in the kitchen, made her want to rush home.
With Bethany still away, she could enjoy a few more days of sweet, private time with Kevin. Thinking of Kevin's hot, thick presence made her feel a tingling itch between her legs. She squeezed her thighs together, trying to quell the rising desire.
Austin drove, glancing at Audrey's flushed, alluring face in the rearview mirror. Her delicate features were filled with a seductive charm. Thinking about enjoying her mature, sexy body later made his excitement grow again. As long as she was in his car, she couldn't escape.

"Okay, let's take the shortcut," Audrey said without thinking, eager to get home. She had no idea she was falling into Austin's trap.
Soon, they reached a fork in the road. Austin turned onto the rough path. "This is the shortcut. You should buckle up; it's going to be bumpy," he said, sneaking a glance at her ample chest. He couldn't wait to get his hands on her.
Audrey quickly fastened her seatbelt. The road was indeed rougher than the main road. She held onto the door handle with one hand and her chest with the other to keep her breasts from bouncing too much. She had been traveling all morning and hadn't rested at noon. The bumpy ride made her drowsy, and she soon fell asleep in the back seat.
Austin drove for a while, then felt the need to pee. He stopped the car, relieved himself by the roadside, and returned to find Audrey still asleep. "Oh, the car seems to have a problem. I'll check it out," Austin said, pretending to grab a wrench and get out. He opened the hood and pretended to inspect the engine, thinking that soon it would be dark. They were in the middle of nowhere, and he could do whatever he wanted.
Of course, Austin wasn't stupid enough to commit rape. He was the village head, after all, and had some sense of the law. He wouldn't become a rapist.
