Chapter 950: Troublesome Folk in Harsh Environment

Kevin waited at the intersection, and within five minutes, a silver Audi A4 approached—it was Daisy's car. He noticed Laura sitting in the back and intentionally opened the front door, ready to sit in the passenger seat.

Daisy, however, smiled and said, "Kevin, sit in the back. You can keep Laura company."

Kevin then got into the rear seat. Seeing him carrying a heavy backpack, Laura teased, "Kevin, what's with the backpack? My grandpa's place is a health resort, not a remote wilderness. Why bring all that stuff?"

"I had no choice," Kevin shrugged. "My cousin insisted I prepare for anything."

"Your cousin is right. It's always better to be over-prepared," Daisy said with a smile, "Kevin, your cousin seems very considerate. Does she live with you now?"

Kevin's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly explained, "Not really. My mom has some matters to attend to these days, so my cousin is looking after me temporarily."

"I see," Daisy nodded, then turned to them and reminded, "Buckle up. The road ahead is rough, and I'm about to start driving."

Laura’s grandfather, Malcolm, was a well-known figure who had served as a police chief and later as a deputy governor. After retiring due to health reasons, he had been staying at the veteran's health resort in their hometown.

The resort was nestled in the beautiful western mountains of their hometown, surrounded by stunning landscapes and fresh air, a favored retreat for many retirees. It had even hosted provincial leaders, though the access road was inconvenient, being a poorly maintained mountain road riddled with potholes. Daisy's Audi bounced and scraped over the rough terrain, making her lament and vow to bring an off-road vehicle next time.

Kevin looked at Laura and, trying to make conversation, asked, "Laura, how much farther is it?"

"Not far," Laura pointed to a tall signal tower in the distance, "Once we pass that tower, we’ll be there."

As Daisy turned a bend, they suddenly saw a motorcycle lying by the roadside, with one person sprawled beside it and another frantically waving. It was evidently an accident.

Despite this, Daisy did not stop but instead accelerated past them. Laura expressed her dissatisfaction, "Mom, why didn't you stop? Didn't you see someone was hurt?"

Kevin quickly interjected, "Laura, Mrs. Daisy did the right thing. I think those men were suspicious; we couldn't risk stopping."

Daisy, surprised, inquired, "Kevin, what made you think so?"

Kevin explained, "This stretch of road is very smooth; there’s no way a motorcycle could just fall over unless something was deliberately wrong. And that guy didn’t seem truly distressed; he even kept one hand concealed in his jacket. I suspect they’re up to no good. If Mrs. Daisy had stopped, we might have been in serious trouble."

Laura, now frightened, turned pale and asked, "Mom, is Kevin right?"

Daisy frowned and said, "I can't be sure, but Kevin’s reasoning isn’t implausible. We’re three in the car, but they’re two grown men—we wouldn't stand a chance if something were to happen. We can't take that risk. Laura, remember this for the future: always prioritize your own safety when deciding whether to help strangers, especially as a girl. Many criminals exploit people's kindness. Understand?"

"I understand," Laura nodded, now looking at Kevin with admiration. It wasn’t surprising that her mother could quickly identify potential danger given her grandfather's lifelong career as a police officer. But Kevin, a fellow high schooler, displaying such insight was quite impressive.

One side of the mountain road was a steep cliff, while the other was adorned with various wildflowers and grasses. Beyond that, they could see a meandering stream in the valley below, lined with verdant pastures under a blue sky dotted with fluffy clouds—truly a picturesque scene. Kevin couldn't resist taking out his phone to capture a few shots, thinking of showing them to his cousin and perhaps planning a future trip together.

Noting Kevin's fascination, Daisy pulled over to a clearing, suggesting the kids stretch their legs and experience nature up close. Laura, dressed in a sky-blue dress with a red hairpin, posed on the grassy knoll, her long, fair legs exuding youthful charm as she struck various poses for Kevin to photograph.

Kevin then glanced at Daisy, who stood nearby in a deep purple dress. Her curvaceous figure, exuding an elegant maturity, with high, firm breasts and a round, plump behind, was as tempting as a ripe peach. Her long, sleek legs stood straight, giving her the grace of a bamboo in the forest. A former dancer, Daisy’s every movement was poised and graceful. But now, with a faint smile and eyes sparkling with warmth, she looked disarming and slightly seductive.

"Mrs. Daisy, how about I take some pictures of you too?" Kevin suggested, unable to resist.

"Oh, you youngsters go ahead. I’m fine just watching," Daisy replied with a slight smile, her hand reaching up to tame her wind-tossed hair. The sight of her lithe form swaying in the breeze made Kevin's pulse quicken.

"Come on, Mom," Laura urged, pulling her mother onto the grass. "Kevin, get a picture of the two of us."

"Alright," Kevin agreed, positioning his phone to capture both Daisy and Laura against the stunning backdrop. To get the perfect shot, he sat down, aiming up to make them stand out more prominently against the sky.

Just then, a breeze lifted their skirts, exposing their white legs and giving Kevin a glimpse underneath. Laura's animated, pink cartoon panties looked playful, while Daisy’s black lace thong outlined her voluptuous vulva. Seeing this, Kevin grew flushed and aroused.

Daisy and Laura both shrieked, quickly holding down their skirts, mimicking Marilyn Monroe’s iconic pose. Kevin, reflexively, snapped a few more shots.

"Kevin, why are you still taking pictures?" Daisy scolded, her eyebrows knitting together. "Delete those photos immediately."

"Mrs. Daisy, I think these shots came out wonderfully. Have a look," Kevin said, approaching Daisy with his phone. The candidly captured shock on Daisy’s face looked natural and lively, without the stiffness of posed pictures. It captured the scene’s vibrancy and didn't reveal anything inappropriate—merely a bit of thigh. Having done nude photo shoots before, this level of exposure was trivial for Daisy.

"Alright, you can keep these. But make sure to send the photos to Laura and delete them from your phone," Daisy said, deciding she wanted to appreciate these photos later.

"Don't worry, Mrs. Daisy," Kevin replied with a mischievous smile. Meanwhile, he couldn’t help but notice Daisy’s prominent, well-endowed chest up close; his body reacted even stronger to her intoxicating scent.

"Mrs. Daisy, I need to go to the restroom," he excused himself hurriedly, concealing his erection as he dashed behind a nearby hill. However, his erection made it impossible to urinate at first. After a while, as his erection subsided, he finally managed to relieve himself.

As Kevin zipped up, he glanced back down the road and spotted a dark speck quickly moving towards them—it was the two men on the motorcycle, riding fast.

Oh no!
They must have realized Daisy didn’t fall for their ruse and were coming after them. Kevin quickly ran back to the Audi only to find Laura, alone in the car—Daisy had also gone to relieve herself.

Panicked, Kevin searched for Daisy and found her a few yards away in a thicket, bending over with her black lace panties around her knees, her firm, white thighs glowing under the sunlight. Her large, round buttocks were smooth and taut, her pubic area dense and lush, glistening with drops of morning dew. The sight stunned Kevin, filling him with burning desire as he swallowed hard.

"Kevin..." Daisy turned, seeing Kevin staring at her nether region. She hastily pulled up her underwear and covered her inviting private area, her brow furrowing and tone icy. "What are you doing here?"

"Mrs. Daisy, those two men are coming on the motorcycle." Kevin stammered.

Daisy, now alarmed, quickly returned to the car and started the engine, but by then, the motorcycle had already blocked their path. One man waved a dead chicken and angrily shouted in the local dialect, brandishing a knife with his other hand.

It was the first time Kevin and Laura had encountered such a situation. They clung to each other in fear, while Kevin, though scared, tried to remain calm. He held Laura's hand tightly, his heart pounding.

Daisy, however, stayed composed. She listened to the man's rant, then took out two hundred dollars from her purse and slipped the bills through a narrow window gap. The man took the money, said a few more words, and then they rode off.

Once they left, Kevin and Laura breathed a sigh of relief. Kevin, curious, asked, "Mrs. Daisy, what were they saying?"

"Oh, they claimed our car ran over their chicken and demanded compensation," Daisy explained, starting the car again with a smile. "I gave them some money, and they left."

"But we didn’t hit any chicken. This is blatant extortion," Laura protested. "Mom, you should call the police."

"Let's not bother," Daisy sighed. "There are too many incidents like this, and the police can't handle them all. The locals here are very poor, hence the old saying: harsh lands breed tough people."
