Chapter 747 Unexpected Visit from Cousin
Laura and Bethany chatted for a while, then bid farewell to Lucy. After the two left, Bethany turned to Kevin with a displeased expression and said, "Kevin, didn't you just say you didn't know any girls from your class? How do you know these two?"
Kevin smirked, realizing he slipped up, and quickly explained, "Mom, I just happened to run into them earlier. It's only polite to greet classmates, right? I rarely talk to them otherwise. You can ask Mrs. Garcia if you don't believe me."
"Alright, alright, I don't want to hear your excuses." Bethany wasn't really angry. These two girls seemed like excellent students, and she didn't mind if her son interacted with them. Especially Laura, whom she was starting to like more and more - she seemed well-behaved, with a good family background. If her son ended up dating her in the future, it would be quite suitable.
Seeing that it was almost nine o'clock, Bethany decided to close up the shop and head home with Kevin. On the way, she kept asking about Laura, showing a keen interest in her.
"Mom, can you please stop asking? I really just have a normal classmate relationship with Laura. It's not as complicated as you think." Kevin felt a bit overwhelmed. He regretted letting his mother see Laura. He had planned to distance himself from Laura for a while, but now it seemed like his mother was more interested in Laura than he was.
"You little rascal, you brought two girls out of the blue, how can I not ask?" Bethany was about to ask more questions when suddenly her phone rang. It was Audrey calling. After a brief conversation, Bethany told Kevin, "Let's hurry, your cousin is waiting for us at the door. She's staying over tonight."
Kevin was taken aback. How did Audrey suddenly show up at their house? He thought he wouldn't see Audrey all week, but now she was unexpectedly at their doorstep. Knowing that his cousin would be staying the night, Kevin felt a rush of emotions. He quickly made his way to the front door and saw a tall, attractive figure standing there - his cousin Audrey.
"Audrey, you've been waiting for a while." Bethany smiled as she unlocked the door. "You should have called before coming over. It's not appropriate to make you wait here at night."
"It's okay, Auntie. I just wanted to visit you." Audrey glanced at Kevin, who was silent, staring at her intently. She couldn't help but sigh inwardly. This guy seemed to be her nemesis, always lingering in her thoughts.
Audrey woke up in a hospital bed, feeling surprised. Mark introduced himself and briefed her on what had happened during her unconsciousness.
Upon learning that she had been kidnapped by a group of fugitives, Audrey was shocked. The thought of being in the hands of criminals was terrifying. However, Mark reassured her that the police arrived in time to apprehend the criminals before any harm was done, which eased Audrey's anxiety. After a routine check-up and giving a statement, Audrey was driven back to the city by the authorities.
After such a harrowing experience, Audrey didn't dare to return home. Instead, she thought of staying with her Aunt Bethany for the night. Originally, she had planned to avoid meeting Kevin before her trip down south to avoid any awkwardness. But now, circumstances had changed.
In the living room, Bethany teased Audrey, "Audrey, you finally decided to come over. I've been asking you to visit, but you always refused. I even suggested Kevin go over to keep you company, but you wouldn't agree. It's too lonely to stay alone."
Blushing slightly, Audrey glanced at Kevin before saying, "Auntie, I'll be going to Starhaven for a couple of weeks, so I thought I'd come over to chat with you. Don't tease me too much, or I'll leave."
"Don't be like that, I'm just teasing you. Why are you in such a hurry?" Bethany turned to Kevin, who was sitting nearby, and told him to go to bed. "Kevin, go to your room and sleep. I'll chat with your cousin for a while."
"Goodnight, cousin." Reluctantly, Kevin waved at Audrey and headed to his bedroom, feeling puzzled. Although Audrey seemed unchanged, he sensed that something was bothering her.
In the bedroom, Bethany changed into her nightgown and suggested Audrey do the same. She pointed to the rightmost wardrobe where Audrey's nightwear was kept. "You can stay here these days before your trip to Starhaven next week."
Audrey silently nodded, took out a nightgown from the wardrobe, and removed her t-shirt, revealing her voluptuous figure. Her breasts, even encased in a bra, seemed eager to break free. Soon, Audrey removed her bra, and her full, firm breasts bounced freely, exuding a youthful charm and vitality.
As Bethany couldn't help but comment on Audrey's proudly standing chest, she said, "Audrey, with such a big chest, do you feel uncomfortable during sports?"
"It's usually fine," blushing, Audrey replied after changing into her nightgown, "I just can't do intense exercises. I used to dread P.E. classes, even with a sports bra, it didn't help much. They kept sagging, and it hurt my chest. I even thought about getting a breast reduction surgery."
"Don't do that, it would be a shame. Some people struggle to enhance their bust, and here you are thinking of reducing it. That's just teasing fate," Bethany walked over, gently touching Audrey's breasts, smiling mischievously. "Besides, would Jason agree? They feel so good in your hands. It's a pity Jason is never around to enjoy them."
"Auntie, you're always teasing me." Audrey blushed, thinking about how her dear son had probably touched them plenty. If it weren't for his recent efforts, she wouldn't have grown this big.
"By the way, have you used that vibrator I gave you?" Bethany suddenly asked.
"Oh, not yet." Audrey hesitated. At the hospital, the detective had asked if she had lost any belongings that she could claim. But Audrey couldn't admit the vibrator was hers, so she claimed nothing was missing. Even if she had lost something, it wasn't worth mentioning after narrowly escaping the criminals.
"I see you're hesitant to use it. It's okay, I have another one." Bethany smiled, taking out another box from the bedside table. She shook it at Audrey, saying, "I don't know how to use it yet. Since you're here tonight, let's figure it out together."
"Auntie, that's not appropriate." Audrey had accepted the vibrator to appease Bethany, but she didn't expect Bethany to want to study it together. She looked towards the door, feeling hesitant. "If Kevin sees this at home, it would be so embarrassing."
"Oh, it's not a big deal." Bethany chuckled. "Despite Kevin's appearance, he's still a child. Besides, it's all in Japanese. Even if you show him, he won't know what it is."
Seeing Bethany's nonchalance, Audrey was speechless. It seemed like all mothers thought their children were innocent and naive, never growing up. If Bethany knew her precious son had slept with their homeroom teacher Alissa and almost caused trouble with her cousin, she might think differently.
Bethany quickly unwrapped the box and took out a pink vibrator, marveling at its intricate design. "Japanese really know how to make things delicate. It looks like a toy. These Japanese people are quite perverted, making all sorts of things. Audrey, how do you think this is used?"
Blushing, Audrey took the vibrator, feeling its weight in her hand. It was smooth to the touch. She pressed the red button on the remote control attached to the tail, and the vibrator started vibrating, emitting a buzzing sound that was particularly clear in the late night. Feeling the vibrations in her palm, Audrey quickly turned it off, feeling embarrassed. "Auntie, it's actually quite simple. Press the button to start the vibration. When you don't want to use it, just turn it off. The two buttons next to it adjust the intensity and duration. You can figure it out yourself."
"Don't worry, how can I figure this out on my own?" Bethany said helplessly. "Can you demonstrate it for me? You pressed the button too quickly earlier, and I didn't see how to operate it."
Feeling awkward, Audrey explained it patiently to Bethany twice and let her try it a few times until she understood how to use the vibrator.
"Well, this thing is quite a hassle. If I knew it was this complicated, I wouldn't have bought it," Bethany sighed, self-deprecatingly. "Audrey, don't laugh at me. After all these years, I can't resist anymore. Do you think I've gone bad too?"
"Auntie, don't say that. In other countries, like the Netherlands, this is nothing." Audrey was more open now, finding the situation less awkward. "Their mindset is more liberated, unlike us here, where we can't accept new things."
"Yeah, even with clothes, I've been studying fashion lately. Big cities have all kinds of styles, but here, the trendy ones don't sell well. People are still more inclined towards old styles from a few years ago." Bethany sighed. "I think it's great that you're going to Starhaven with Jason. You're a college student, unlike us uncultured folks. It would be a waste for you to stay in the city. You should go out and explore when you have the chance."
After chatting for a while, they turned off the lights and tried to sleep. However, Audrey couldn't fall asleep. She lay awake, reflecting on the events of the day. Despite the police saying nothing happened to her and the hospital check-up showing normal results, Audrey still felt something was off with her body. She couldn't pinpoint what it was.
Moreover, Violet was with her at the time and was likely kidnapped by the criminals as well. When Audrey inquired about Violet, the detective evaded the question. Audrey knew something had happened to Violet, and it wasn't Youth.
But all of this was beyond her control. She could only pray that Violet would get through this ordeal.
