Kevin got his cool back and, with a sudden idea, walked up to Audrey. "Hey, Audrey, we need to chat."
"What's up? Why all the mystery?" Audrey laughed. "It's your birthday today, so spill it. As long as it's not too crazy, I'm in."
Kevin pulled out a travel brochure and pointed at a picture of Pinecrest Valley. "Since we're both free now, staying in the city is kinda dull. How about we go out and have some fun? We finally have a holiday. This place looks awesome, and we can even camp out at night."
"That does sound pretty cool," Audrey thought for a moment. "So, when do you wanna go?"
"How about right now?" Kevin suggested.
"Alright," Audrey nodded. She could sense Kevin's excitement and found his idea reasonable, so she agreed.
They packed their stuff, checked out of the hotel, and hopped on a tourist bus heading to Pinecrest Valley. An hour and a half later, they arrived.
Pinecrest Valley was a new tourist spot with a rich history and beautiful scenery, drawing more and more visitors lately.
Audrey and Kevin got off the bus and found a nearby inn. At the front desk, a woman in her thirties looked at them and asked, "How many rooms do you need?"
Audrey felt a bit embarrassed, while Kevin grinned and said, "Just one. Two beds, please."
Kevin had thought about getting a room with one big bed but didn't want to make Audrey uncomfortable, so he went with a double room. As long as they were in the same room, he didn't care which bed he slept in.
"IDs, please." The woman typed at her keyboard, munching on a snack.
Audrey handed over her ID. The woman glanced at Audrey's age, then at Kevin, and gave a knowing smile. Audrey blushed deeper, aware that the woman probably assumed they weren't married.
The innkeeper, experienced in such situations, quickly completed the check-in process. She handed over a room key card and asked with a smile, "How many nights will you be staying?"
"Two," Audrey said, though she wasn't entirely sure how long they'd stay.
They went up to the second floor and put their things down. The room was small but clean, with a bathroom at the entrance, two single beds with white sheets, a balcony window with a view of the mountains, and a bedside table with a small box on it. Kevin looked and found it was a box of condoms. This place was definitely a good spot for couples.
Audrey, feeling tired, wanted to rest, but Kevin, full of energy, whisked her away.
The town had cobblestone streets lined with souvenir shops and eateries. Tourists with backpacks strolled around, and photographers captured the town's charm. The afternoon sun was gentle, and the southern climate kept the landscape green even in October.
Kevin, holding Audrey's hand, looked like a guy deeply in love. Tourists couldn't help but admire Audrey's beauty and Kevin's luck.
They walked into a snack shop and ordered two burritos and a local stew.
The stew came quickly. Kevin eagerly took a spoonful and burned his lips.
"Kevin, are you okay?" Audrey quickly checked his lips and gently blew on them. She had him eat the burrito first while she tested the stew's temperature. Once it was right, she smiled and fed him a spoonful. "Alright, you can eat now."
Kevin savored the soup, a mix of vegetables and legumes, rich in flavor despite being meatless. He couldn't stop praising it.
Enjoying the local food, looking at Audrey, and taking in the bustling street, Kevin felt pure happiness.
After eating, they walked out hand in hand, strolling through the lively streets.
Soon, they reached a narrow alley, just wide enough for one person.
"Audrey, let's go this way," Kevin said with a grin, suddenly inspired.
Despite Audrey's hesitation, Kevin firmly held her hand and led her into the alley.
They reached the middle, where a curved turn blocked the view from both ends. Kevin stopped, but Audrey urged, "Come on, Kevin, you're blocking the way. I can't get through."
With a mischievous grin, Kevin turned to Audrey and said, "Audrey, I'm feeling a bit tired. You go ahead."
Audrey noticed Kevin's eyes lingering on her chest and realized his intentions. Unable to turn away without hitting the wall, she teased, "Always up to something, aren't you?" "What are you doing, Kevin? Move aside, someone might see," Audrey exclaimed, trying to wriggle free but being held tightly by Kevin.

Audrey glared at him. This was his fault. "There are people in front of me," she said coolly. "You fly over them."
The two guys, seeing Kevin blocking Audrey, arrogantly said, "Miss, have you made up your mind? Wait a little longer and more people will come. Then no one will be able to pass."
Thinking about the crowded alley ahead, Audrey's expression darkened. She gritted her teeth, ready to let the others squeeze past. Then, Kevin grabbed her. "I have a solution," he said. He crouched down. "Hop on."
Audrey climbed onto his shoulders. He stood up, leaning slightly to the side. "Okay," he said to the two men, "you can pass now."
The two guys, seeing Audrey's fair thighs clamping Kevin's neck and her private area pressing against the back of his head, looked at them with smug expressions.
