Chapter 118 The Temptation of a Married Woman
Kevin learned what had happened after he left and felt touched. Alissa seemed strict, but she cared about him. He felt a bit guilty for deceiving her, but he couldn't ignore Vanessa's demands. He had to take things one step at a time.
When the school bell rang, Kevin quickly packed up and rushed out. He planned to meet Vanessa, handle things quickly, and then see Alissa. Though he had just been with Evelyn Allen at noon, he had to satisfy two more women tonight. It was a daunting task, but he had no choice.
Just as he left the classroom, he saw Audrey waiting by the door. Seeing Kevin , she approached and said, somewhat embarrassed, "Kevin , there’s a problem with the heater at my apartment. Can you help me take a look?"
Kevin was stunned. He had used Audrey as an excuse, and now she was really asking for help. What a coincidence! What should he do now? He had to make a choice between the beautiful, mature Audrey, the seductive Vanessa, and the needy Alissa. Who should he choose?
From a logical standpoint, Kevin should've turned down Audrey's request and dealt with Vanessafirst. Compared to Alissa and Audrey, Vanessa Wood's attitude towards him was the most unpredictable and potentially troublesome. Mishandling it could lead to serious problems.
But seeing Audrey's pleading look, Kevin couldn't say no. He instinctively nodded and said, "No problem, Mrs. Johnson."
Right after that, he regretted it, blaming himself for being so unprincipled.
"Great, let's go then," Audrey said with a charming smile, and headed towards the school gate. Her round, shapely hips swayed gently in her jeans, and the boys along her way couldn’t help but gulp, their eyes filled with fantasies about Audrey's alluring figure.
Kevin shot a disdainful glance at those boys, thinking they had no chance with Audrey. But he found himself eagerly following her. He wanted to hold her hand like he did at noon, but Audrey had both hands in her pockets, giving him no opportunity.
Audrey had changed into a white shirt with a pink lace bra faintly visible underneath. Her full, firm breasts gently bounced with her movements, which made Kevin 's heart race. He wanted to peek but didn't dare to stare directly, so he stole glances while pretending to talk to her. However, the glimpses were blurry, leaving him even more frustrated.
Audrey noticed Kevin 's little actions but acted like nothing happened. She felt a mix of amusement and pleasure, even occasionally pushing her chest out to tease him. Audrey had a special feeling towards Kevin , different from what she felt with her friends, but it wasn't strong enough for physical affection. It was a vague state in between, and even Audrey herself wasn’t sure what to do about it.
At noon, Audrey had gone home to shower but found the shower malfunctioning. The water flow was off. It was a Youth issue, but the store that installed the heater claimed it was out of warranty and demanded a $100 service fee. Audrey felt they were overcharging and refused. She thought of asking her neighbor, Christopher Miller, for help but was disgusted by his lustful eyes. He often found excuses to visit her, and asking for his help might give him the wrong idea. She quickly abandoned that thought and considered Kevin . Boys were usually handy with tools, and simple problems should be manageable. So she decided to ask Kevin for help after school.
Asking Kevin had fewer implications. He was just a student, so no one would think much of it. Plus, Kevin liked her but was respectful and wouldn't make her uncomfortable. Most importantly, Audrey enjoyed Kevin 's company. He made her feel relaxed, unlike the distance she felt with other men. Kevin made her feel young and full of energy, reminiscent of her high school days.
Kevin followed Audrey home and inspected the showerhead. As she had described, the water flow was weak and uneven. He guessed it was clogged, so he shut it off, removed the showerhead, and found it filled with limescale and sand. He cleaned it out and reinstalled it. He ended up sweating from the stuffy bathroom.
"Kevin , take a break," Audrey said, wiping his sweat with a clean white towel. Seeing the sweat trickle down his neck and into his shirt, she hesitated to suggest he take a shower but felt it was inappropriate. No one else had ever showered in her home, so she stayed silent.
"Mrs. Johnson, it's okay now. If there's nothing else, I'll head out," Kevin said hoarsely, feeling the heat from Audrey's proximity and her intoxicating scent. Her full breasts were almost touching his chest, making his heart race. But he remembered he had to meet Vanessaand resisted the urge to stay.
Seeing Kevin eager to leave, Audrey felt a bit guilty. She had asked for his help but still had some reservations. She glared at him and said, "Why are you in such a hurry? You're all sweaty. If you go out now, you might catch a cold. Sit down and take a rest."
Without waiting for his response, she pulled him to the sofa and poured him a glass of milk.
Kevin held the glass but felt uneasy. The longer he stayed, the longer Vanessa would wait. He couldn't help but say, "Mrs. Johnson, maybe I should go. It's getting late, and it's not really appropriate for me to stay."
"You're so conservative for your age. Don't forget, we're cousins," Audrey teased with a smile. "I'm not afraid of gossip, so why should you be? Do you have a date or something tonight? Or do you just feel uneasy around me?"
Audrey was joking, but she hit the mark. Kevin felt guilty. He didn't know what to say about leaving again, so he just sat quietly, watching the clock tick. He sighed inwardly, realizing Audrey had disrupted his perfect plan.
Noticing Kevin 's restlessness and distracted responses to her questions, Audrey wondered if he really had a date. She suddenly thought of Alissa and realized why Kevin was in a hurry. He was rushing to see Alissa. Audrey felt a pang of disappointment and a bit of resentment. She glanced at Kevin and tentatively asked, "Kevin , are you going to see Mrs. Garcia? If that’s true, you can go. Don't keep her waiting."
