Chapter 659 Moving into the Faculty Dormitory
In the office, Kimberly is talking to a chubby middle-aged man, the head of the office, James. His triangular eyes are wandering over the young and beautiful female teacher in front of him.
Kimberly is wearing a dark green dress today, slim figure, fair skin, with two alluring and smooth white legs that are dazzling. James, captivated by the mature charm of Kimberly, finds himself getting excited.
"Mr. James, I would like to apply for a dorm room, is that possible?" Kimberly sees James staring at her thighs non-stop, feeling a wave of disgust rising in her heart. However, since James is in charge of allocating dorms for the faculty, she can only endure the discomfort.
"Kimberly, you are already married, so technically you are not eligible to apply for a single dorm room." James chuckles, his eyes still scanning Kimberly's slender and beautiful legs, thinking to himself how alluring they are. If those legs were wrapped around him and moving, he probably wouldn't last ten minutes. However, knowing that Kimberly's husband is a government official and keeps a close eye on her, James, despite lusting after her legs, dares not provoke her and can only indulge in his fantasies.
"But I have checked the dormitory management regulations, and it states that married faculty members can apply under special circumstances." Kimberly says, "Besides, I have inquired, and many of the single faculty dorms in our school are currently vacant. Mr. James, why can't you assign one to me?"
"Kimberly, don't be angry." James crosses his legs, looking at Kimberly's smooth thighs, eager to touch them, and says in an official tone, "Rules are rules, the specifics of how to proceed are not that simple. First, tell me what special circumstances you are in, I will see if it complies with the regulations, then report to the deputy principal in charge, and finally discuss it at the school council meeting."
Kimberly is taken aback. She wants to live in the dormitory because she had a falling out with her husband ever since Grant forcibly violated her. She doesn't want to live with her husband anymore, finding him repulsive. Moving to the school dormitory would also convey her attitude to her husband.
But how could she possibly tell anyone about this? How could she continue to stay at the school if she did? Kimberly bites her lip and says, "Mr. James, many married faculty members in our school have dorm rooms. Do they all have special circumstances?"
"Kimberly, it's not meaningful to say that." James's face darkens. "I am the head of the office, and I enforce the school's rules and regulations. If you think there is a problem, you can report it to the school leadership."
"You..." Kimberly's face pales with anger. She knows James is deliberately making things difficult, hoping for some benefits. Those teachers who have been assigned dorm rooms have privately given money to James, but Kimberly doesn't want to do that.
Just then, there is a knock on the door. James impatiently says, "Who is it? Come in."
Soon, a tall and sexy figure walks in - it's Audrey. She sees Kimberly and nods subconsciously, then turns to James and says, "Mr. James, I would like to apply for a dorm room. What procedures do I need to follow?"
"Ah, Mrs. Johnson." James's attitude suddenly becomes enthusiastic. He quickly gets up and says, "If you want to apply for a dorm room, no problem. Just fill out an application form here. Mr. Jones has already instructed to take good care of young teachers like you. If you have any difficulties, make sure to inform the school. I will help you solve them."
Kimberly notices the stark difference in James's attitude compared to before, feeling a chill. But when Audrey turns to her and says, "Kimberly, are you also here to apply for a dorm? Why don't we live together? It would be good to have someone to look out for each other."
"Ah..." Kimberly didn't expect Audrey to invite her to live together. After hesitating for a moment, she nods, "I just don't know if Mr. James will agree."
"No problem, no problem." Mr. James smiles warmly. "Mrs. Johnson and Kimberly are both young teachers at our school and should take care of each other. Living together, you can also look out for each other."
Audrey fills out the form and hands it to James. With a beaming smile, James says, "Mrs. Johnson, that's all. You can go to logistics to get the keys."
"Thank you, Mr. James." Audrey smiles slightly and leaves the office with Kimberly. She invited Kimberly to live together for a reason. If she lived alone in a dorm, it would attract attention, and Kevin, that guy, would definitely come to cause trouble. With Kimberly around, he would probably behave.
"Thank you, Audrey." Kimberly is very grateful to Audrey. If Audrey hadn't shown up suddenly, James might not have assigned her a dorm room even if she had caused a scene.
"It's nothing." Audrey smiles faintly, hesitates for a moment, and says, "Kimberly, did you have a fight with your husband?"
"How did you know?"
Kimberly is surprised, a wary look on her face. She has never told anyone about her quarrels with her husband, only Kevin. She doesn't know how Audrey found out.
"Alright, don't worry, I won't tell anyone." Seeing Kimberly's reaction, Audrey quickly says, "Kevin told me. I'm his cousin. Only he and I know about this."
Kimberly suddenly realizes. She has been feeling very aggrieved but didn't know who to talk to. Now that Audrey knows, she decides to confide in her about the conflicts with her husband, recounting the incident with tears in her eyes, "Mrs. Johnson, last time my husband even slapped Kevin. I have always felt sorry for Kevin and don't know how to explain it to his family."
